How do I get these dots to appear in a list?
Whenever I create a list such as a Weekly Events List (example below), I want to add the dots (.........). What are these called and how do I get InDesign to add these dots automatically rather than pressing a key repeatedly.
Monday............................Event 1
Tuesday...........................Event 2
I'm not sure what those series of periods are called...

Awesome! I needed a pointer for technical documentation: a thick white stroke, with a thinner black stroke going right down the middle of it. I made a new stripe stroke style: Start: 37%, Width: %26. Then I did a gap color of Paper, gap tint: 100%. Stroke color is black. Round cap.

Please help!
I have random songs that are appearing in my list of movies. I have tried deleting them and then redownloading them from the cloud to get them back into songs. I am successful after redownloading, BUT
...once I close out iTunes and then reenter iTunes, the songs are reappearing as movies.
PLEASE HELP! This is crazy.

-ZachI had exactly the same problem. Check that the tracks still appear in your iTunes folder under Music (they should if you've re-downloaded them from the cloud). Next, look in your Movies folder and the songs might appear as individual folders. Delete those folders, empty your trash and then delete the tracks from the Movies tab in iTunes.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

Events entered on my iphone calendar do not appear on my ipad calendar, but events entered the other way around (on Ipad DO appear instantly on my phone calendar. How can I get these calendars to sync both ways instantly?
If you're trying to sync an iCloud calendar, go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Default Calendar on your iPhone and make sure you have selected your iCloud calendar as your default.

In mail, my attachments, both photos and documents, appear in the body of the message. How can I get my attachments to appear as a separate attachment and not as part of the main message???? Thanks for your help, Karen.

As Don already pointed out, exactly what the recipient sees will depend on how they've set up their machine and what unnecessary 3rd party apps they might've installed to display attachments the way they want.
In theory, that is true. In practice, Attachment Tamer will cause more of your messages to show up as plain-jane icons on the other end. The problem is, after all, people running Outlook 2003 and 2007. These people likely aren't doing many system modifications.
If I were you, I'd use the free solutions provided above, save my money and let my recipients decide how they will handle their mail.

I found out that I have some lost contacts on my iphone 5s, they dont appear when I search but if the contact calls me I see their name. How can I get those contacts to be on the list?
You could check settings > mail contacts and calandars and see if there are any accounts (like icloud gmail yahoo) listed and if they have contacts on. Its possible if contacts were synced to one of these accounts that turning them back on will recover the missing contacts.

My apps are not showing on my home screen after the new iOS 6 update. They are in my iCloud but it only gives me and option to open. How do I get these apps back on my home screen?
Do you have an Restrictions set that would hide the apps? Settings>General>Restrictions
Have you used the Spotlight search? Maybe you just can't find them.

If so, you can restore a new iPhone from that backup during setup.

I have installed Adobe Creative Cloud for teams CC Packages which says that Acrobat XI Pro is installed. Your support page says it does not install Acrobat and I have to look in the Extensions folder for an MSI file. I have run a number of searches and cannot find the Acrobat extension folder please advise how can I get these applications to load onto my computer?
Also I now administer the teams and have accepted the invitation to I received to be a team member and download the apps. The admin page shows that I have been sent an invitation but does not show my account as "ACtive" unlike my other team members. I tried to use the link in the invite to accept it become active but the link displayed an error saying I had already accepted the invite... why is no account not active?
Finally what other product downloads in Creative Cloud do not actually download as part of the Creative cloud Packager for downloading the apps? e.g. acrobat and what else?My apologies Eadeszoo I believe our support agents are unavailable on January 1.

On iTunes, my library says that I have a lot of songs on my device that do not show up on my actual iPod touch. These songs disappeared from my iPod when I plugged it in, then they showed back up, but with a red square and circle, and now, after syncing and autofilling, they are gone again. I have garage band ver 10.0.2 and am trying to add effects to an audio track but i have no info button or track info under the track tab. How do i get these things to show up on my program?
In GarageBand 10.0.2 you can no longer add all kinds of effects freely; this GarageBand '11 feature has been discontinued. Pick one of the predefined patches that already has the effects you want.
However, you can add effects from the predefined audio units.
You'll see the predefined effects on the track, when you open the Smart Controls. To add audio units, click the button and enlarge the the smart controls pane by dragging the dividing line to the Track Area upwards. -
I have two excel files I cannot open or delete from my desktop. One is titled 6ACAD200 and the other file is titled 8D73A700. How can I get these off of my computer?
From the names I'd guess they are temporary files. If excel is running, quit and try again. If they still won't move or delete reboot. If they still won't move or delete...kill a chicken at midnight under an oak tree?
