How do I install CS6:Design Standard onto my iMac? I already had it on my MacBook Pro and should get 2 downloads with the student version?
I bought the student version of CS6 Design standard 3 years ago and installed it on my MacBook Pro. I now just purchased an iMac and would like to download it onto this as well. I should be able to download it onto two computers from what I understand, but when I insert the disk for download, there is no install.app on the disk any longer. I only see set-up.exe (which is for windows). How can I get the programs downloaded onto my iMac?

I JUST bought my student edition CS6 Design Standard last week. Got everything verified, registered with adobe. Oh ****, I have no cd drive. OK, what do I do? I have read the FAQ. I have tried to install a trial. No Design Standard option with the handy Download Assistant. I tried the Help Chat. There were 88 people in front of me. You could only get the serial number (which is required) if the product was registered. You could check on Adobe.com.

Yes, you can use it on 2 machines. You have to download the file on the new system or use the disc if you have.
Then use the same serial number. If you require the setup file please use the below link.

Unable install CS6 design standard on Mac OS 10.8.2
Hi
I having problem when installing CS6 design standard on Mac OS 10.8.2
i was using the online .dmg to install everytime when the installation seem like almost done (the progress bar shown 99%). suddenly it just fail.
I was using admin id and tried adobe clean tools to reinstall.

A quick look at the error log, indicates a permission issues. Are you logged in with an Administrator account and have sufficient privileges to install software? -

I just upgrade to Maverick on my 2 year old MacBook Pro and it has slowed down the computer terribly. All I see every time I do anything is that crazy circle going round and round. I don't recommend you upgrading. How do I get rid of it. I believe it forces you to buy a new macbook!!!!

I was installing the new EFI software update on my macbook pro and I became stuck on the grey screen with the window that said "installing 2 items", its been on the same screen for 2 1/2 hours. does anyone know what I can do?

How can I download videos from youtube with may MacBook Pro? I cannot download with real player. So how can I do it?
There are two apps that I know of - and I would also swear that they come from the same developer, although they've different names. Both have free trials and both cost $40 (but both do 'other' video conversion as well).
One is WonderShare - I bought this one and it works very well for downloading YouTube videos as well as converting just about any file format you can think of.
The other is iSkysoft Video Converter (just noticed that it's now $36).
I tried them both and finally decided on WonderShare. Give them both a trial run and decide if you like either one enough to buy it. I don't know of any 'free' software that will allow you to download and convert YouTube videos, but perhaps someone else will come along and know of something...

It turns out that iCloud caused this issue. When I turned iCloud off my login screen was completely normal.

I bought Design Standard CS% a while back for my iMac and my iMac has a disk drive. I got a new Macbook Pro and there is no disc drive. there are also no longer trial links to download the software and then enter my serial numbers. How can I install it without buying an external CD drive?

Need help with installing CS6 Design Standard
Hi all,
Bought CS6 Design standard as a download from Currys the other day. I have a list of 4 files to download.
First one is a PDF to tell me how to activate my student software.
Second is a download .exe file for design standard
Third is another .exe for illistrator content installer
Fourth is another .exe for indesign and incopy content installer.
I've donwloaded all 4 files and once i've clicked on the two content installers i then click on the design standard .exe file and up comes this error message "the file archive part of adobe cs6 design standard is missing. you need all parts in the same folder in order to extract adobe cs6 design standard. please download all parts."
As google automatically places all the download items into the downloads folder, I'm assuming I've done the correct thing and placed them all in the same folder.
I have read that you need to extract a .72 folder or something. however i cannot see that on my downloads list.
Please could someone help, or is this a case of taking my laptop into currys and demanding someone to help me??you should contact your vendor to see where that 7z file is.
btw, it should not be manually extracted. the exe will extract the 7z file's contents.
