How do I make a collage in photoshop cc?

I have spent hours using tutorials and printing written info on adobe sight. I am trying to make a collage. I go to file/ new and size the background for the collage. I open all photos and size them. I think my problem is in the layers. I don't use often. My background keeps changing on layers each time I open an image even when I try layer/new. I use the move tool to drag the image but I can't get to work. Obviously doing something wrong.

BatchOneImageCollage.jsx - Used to Automatically Batch Populate Collage templates that only have one image inserted. The Collage or Image may be stamped with text.
BatchMultiImageCollage.jsx - Used to Automatically Batch Populate Any Photo Collage template with images in a source image folder. Easier to use than the interactive script. Saved collages can be tweaked.
BatchPicturePackage.jsx - Used to Automatically Batch Populate Any Photo Collage template with an image in a source image folder
PasteImageRoll.jsx - Paste Images into a document to be print on roll paper.
PCTpreferences.jsx - Edit This File to Customize Collage Populating scripts default setting and add your own Layer styles.

My question was how to configure the PS file, but I think I wasn't clear about that. I finally went back to a button I'd made in January and figured out how I'd made it: A new file, transparent background, a layer with the image and layer with text (Or transparent background and one layer with image and text for my purpose.) Then File/Place PS Button creates the button. I didn't need to allocate different states.
What is so annoying is, I needed ten seconds worth of information: the PS file. It is not available except in time wasting, obscure videos. The James Fritz video (http://tv.adobe.com/watch/learn-muse/importing-a-photoshop-button) doesn't mention the PS file until after two minutes of jabber, and it is almost unnoticeable hidden in the middle of a sentence.
I don't like videos; they waste time. Written instruction are more efficient. For me.

In Addition to the advise of Nickna12, you can also increase the size of fonts when you are on a HiDPI screen (Windows)
This is done from Preferences > Experimental Features > Scale UI 200% for High Density Displays. Check this one,
Restart Photoshop, and you'll see the interface increased in Size.

Although Dreamweaver Templates and Library items are suitable tools for doing this, they're tedious and cumbersome at best. They get old very quickly.
By far the most efficient method is to set your navigation bar up as a Server Side Include (SSI).
SSIs are not Dreamweaver specific, they're a general web technology available on any server.

Not with SSIs. Simple sitewide menu updates take a few seconds.
You edit a single text file locally (either button labels or a CSS rule for styling the button), upload (1-2 seconds) and every page on the site is instantly updated.

You can not create collages with iPhoto - there are lots of programs that can including pages adn MS word for example - google can show you many more

Check your settings in Flash before copy / paste from
Illustrator (Edit > Preferences or Ctrl U). Select 32 bits for
Color Depth. Set the size limit to a higher value. Select Best for
the Gradient quality.
And if copy / paste would not work fine, you could still
export from Illustrator as a SWF.

Depends on the purpose. If you're looking, say, to make an adjustment mask, you can't do that. However, masks are used to help make refine elements like selections. (As an example, make a selection, then tap the selection options button (fourth icon from the top left) and choose, "Refine Edge.")
If you're looking to adjust settings like saturation or levels, try duplicating the layer and then use the Brush Tool's Mode set to "Effect" rather than "Paint" and choose the desired effect. (Or simply use the Adjustments or Effects icons to change the entire layer or selections made on a layer.)

How do I make images round - CS5 Photoshop

I'm editing photographs of tabletop ceramics - plates, etc. and often images are shot off center and I have to make them round.
I use the Filter Lens Correction Feature with some success and the Warp feature to fine tune - but it's all eyeballing the image which isn't accurate.
Is there any feature that can help with this process or a grid that will enable me to ensure they are round??

In most cases I am not shooting the images but am working with images sent to me. I know there is a grid but do you know of anything like a grid of concentric circles that can be used to assess whether the object is round?

How Do I make iMac faster for photoshop

I have an Imac with Mac os X 10.7.3 , 2.8 GHz Intel Core i7 with 8GB of memory, this should be plenty to run Photoshop with no problems , however Photoshop keep crashing and being REALLY slow, any thoughs???

Isn't Photoshop CS6 the first that specifically runs with 10.7? You didn't indicate which version you have.

Photoshop Elements 11 crashes whenever I try to make a collage.

Whenever I try to make a collage using Photoshop Elements 11, the elements program crashes and comes up with a error message stating that it has stopped working (A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.) I reset all my preferences within the program and the same thing continues to happen. I also tried to increase the amount of ram alloted to the program but things didn't change. Any help given on the subject will be greatly appreciated.

Why not design your own? It is possible to make a collage manually and its quite easy.
Click File >> Open and select all of your photos
That will add them to the project bin
Then select File >> New >> Blank File
Select background color White (or whatever you prefer) and add your width and height for your final image (set resolution 72 for web usage or 240 to 300 for printing) then click OK
In the project bin click your first photo and drag it up into the main window on top of your new background.
Click on the move tool and click in the center of the photo and drag to arrange it where you want on the background - you can hold down the shift key to maintain original proportions whilst dragging the corner handles of the bounding box to get the size you want.
Do the same with the next photo (drag it up into the main window) and use the move tool to position it. Then continue with each image.
Finally Click Layer >>Flatten image and save as jpeg. (Save as PSD if you want to preserve the layers for editing again)
N.B. as you add images they get dropped in the center. So you need to use the move tool to drag them apart. Click in the middle of one and move it around, and then the others until you get them positioned as you want.
When you click again with the move tool a bounding box appears around the image and you can drag out the corner handles to re-size your photos. Hold down the shift key when dragging the corner handle and that will maintain the proportions of the original.
Finally click Layer >>Flatten Image and save your collage - you may then want to use the crop tool to cut away any surplus white canvas, and then re-save.

I am wondering how I can make animated blood using Photoshop CS6. I have looked for tutorials and can't find anything. I want to make a render look like it's crying blood, so the blood would be running down the cheeks and dripping off the chin. Please help!

There isn't going to be really an automated way of doing this. Animation in Photoshop is very simple. You can basically animate just position and scale (also Layer Effects, but that generally isn't as helpful). You could, of course, hand animate this by drawing each individual frame like traditional animation. Each frame of animation would be a separate layer and you could animate the layer visibility. Or you could draw the last frame of blood flow on one layer and animate a mask that slowly reveals the blood trail.

if you are saving your image as jpeg and really dont care much about the pixel dimension and just worry about the file size, I think using lower jpeg compression ratio is a better option. For example: if i want my image to have really small file size, I would simply use a lower jpeg quality(probably Medium or low) while saving the file.
Another easy solution would be to use Save for web, which shows you enough save options to precisely control your file size and dimension

Your Caps Lock key is stuck.
You have to download the free Mehdi Kaleidoscope plug-in from http://www.mehdiplugins.com/english/kaleidoscope.htm.
Extract the file in the zip you download to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 11\Required\Plug-Ins\Filters and it will then appear under the filters menu in PSE.
