How do I make a menu controlled carousel?

Hello!
I am trying to make a menu controlled carousel. The idea is that on the left hand side of the page I have a menu that has a lot of options, and in the center of the page I have an image carousel, and based on what menu item you click on, it will change the picture in this carousel.
I would love to keep it all in once page. For example, If I have a menu with 3 car types. Honda, Ford, and Chevy, and each menu has a sub-menu that has color, and if needed a third sub-menu for accessories. and Depending on what menu, sub-menu, or whatever, it will change the carousel in the middle of the page based on whatever menu I've clicked on, without having dedicated paged with embedded paged that have a single picture loaded.
I've messed around with the Lightbox feature, however I need more than one layer of options per trigger.

There are many icons and icon making applications on the internet for OS X. Try looking on www.VersionTracker.com for examples. Some are free, but most have a fee to use/own.
Once you have an new icon (or if you just want to explore the process first), do a 'Get Info' on your application in the Finder.
Note there should be a small icon to the left of the name at the top in the 'Get Info' window. If you click on that small icon one time and highlight it, you can then copy it to the clipboard and bring it into a graphics/icon making program...(or repeat the process with another app and get an icon from there) and change that icon.
Then simply use copy/paste and the 'Get Info' window again. The next time you run your application it should show the new icon in the dock and in the finder.
This is the simple way, once you've found or created an icon to replace the original icon with the one you want to use.

Steps:
1. Click link to land on Home page
2. View Home link in Spry horizontal navigation menu
Actual:
Home menu title is the same color as all of the others.
Expected:
The title of the active menu is color: #FFC.
I was hoping that a:active would give me this functionality, but that's not how it is described. Any suggestions are welcome!

Nothing I have tried in the template makes the BODY tag editable. That's why I'm wondering how to disconnect the template from the individual pages. Adding an ID to each body tag is a prerequisite of the how-to page you supplied.
You don't make the <body> tag editable in a Template.
You make attributes of the <body> tag editable.
Don't disconnect the Template from the child pages.

In the Template:
Select the <body> tag (either in the Tag selector or click inside the <body> tag in Code View)
Modify > Templates > Make Attribute Editable
Select ID from the Attribute dropdown menu
If there's no existing ID attribute then click Add and type ID into the next dialogue box
Attribute: ID
Check the box to "Make attribute editable"
Enter anything into the Label field as a default e.g. foo
OK
Dreamweaver will change the <body> tag to read <body id="@@(foo)@@"....
Now the ID is editable
Save the Template and update the child page
In each child page:
Modify > Template Properties
Select the id attribute from the list (it's probably the only one listed)
Change its name in the box to whatever name matches your CSS rule for the active state for that page
OK
Save

Can someone please show me how to make a menu that loops with if statements until a valid choice is made by the user?

I have a menu similar to the following, but it doesn't loop and when you choose an item it doesn't seem to execute the If statements correctly.

Note: It doesn't seem to display the output of browse although it looks like it is executing it, why is this? Also, if input = 1 it still executes the else statements too why is this?

How do I make top menu item unclickable but drop downs are clickable?

I have drop down menu with the top menu item titled "Renderings" and the drop down from that are serveral types of renderings. I don't want the viewer to be taken to a page called "Renderings" when they click that, but I do what them to choose one of the drop down items. I am having trouble reading the menu text in Elements 11 that I juat purchased. I have found that with many programs there is a way to enlarge the menu text, but so far I have not been able to find a way to make the menu text large enough for me to read unless I am about 1' away from the screen which I am sure you can imagine is not reasonable or acceptible.

Sorry to say but enlarging menu text is not possible in photoshop elements. You can try adjusting resolution to a lower value so that the menu text becomes a bit bigger.

How do you make a menu link to child pages instead of just top-level pages?

I want two menus on my pages - one along the top which links to the top level pages like About, Contact, Services etc. That's easy enough. I also want another menu down the left hand side which links to the sub pages under Services, but I can't find a way to do it. If you make the menu automatic it links to the top level pages. If you make it manual I can't find a way of adding the link to the sub pages I want. Any advice? I'm running the newest version of Muse on a MacBook Air.

I am afraid that there is no automated way to create a menu for the sub pages. You will need to create a manual menu and then use the hyperlink drop down to link the manual menu items to the pages. Select the menu item and click on the hyperlink drop down and choose the page.

How do I make safari menu bar fit my screen

I'm a new Mac user on a MacBook Pro with OS Lion and Safari 5.1. Something has happened so that my windows do not fit the screen (too large) anymore. I have to manually size them everytime I open a new window or program. Additionally the menu title bar across the top of the screen is too long and I have to scroll to see either end. I've gone to preferences and tried to scale it back to where it used to be using the monitor settings but no luck there. I've looked for something similar to Windows restore to get my screen back to where it was before. Any ideas what happened and how I can get my title bar to fit across the top without having to scroll.

How can i make the menu's vobs the first vobs?

I have read somewhere on the net, the menu vobs are always the first vobs. This i find not the case , sometimes they are sometimes the're not. Does anyone know what the rule is to make the vobs the first?
Is it simply the first that was imported? that is to say if i import the movie assets first, then they become the first vobs? or does rendering just mess that theory up.

my VTS_01_0.vob is indeed the first play one, which happens to be my copyright notice, VTS_01_1.vob to VTS_01_5.vob is the movie and then VTS_02_0.VOB are my four menu screens , hence my question to the forum. SO i is in the way i import them. As how i work is i just replace assest as it is quicker. Except i can't replace it as such as the chapter points are wrong so i have to delete the other videos and import the new one, so in theory the new video is the last in.
all my menus are psd files.
and teh end action of the copyright notice goes to my front menu, which is actually the last in the VTS_02_0.VOB file, they are not in real order for some reason either.
i am wondering as i replaced asset then it was the last in, but maybe as the psd files arent on timelines then they moved to the end of the vob list.

You can make it drop a prewired property node when they drop the control.
It isn't hard, but there are a few steps involved.
To do this, make a VI that has your control configured the way you want,
and on the diagram have it wired to a property node with the correct
selection and direction. You should also make an icon that will show
up in the palette. Save this VI somewhere like user.lib. Now
you need to edit the palettes and add this as a Merge VI.
Open the Controls palette and click on the ... button. If using LV5,
choose Edit Controls and Functions Palette from the Edit menu.
Once editing the palettes, make your own palette set and give it a name.
Now choose a place in the palettes to add the .vi file. Right click and
Insert and Custom Control(s)... This will bring up a file dialog that
is filtering for .ctl files. Change the filter to allow all files.
Select the .vi file that you saved earlier.
To give this to others, you may want to make this a bit differently.
You can place the VI and .mnu file into user.lib and a few other places
and it will automatically be added to the LV palettes.
Anyway, once the VI is available in the palettes, it will merge the VI
contents into the VI, exactly as the 3D graph does.

How can I make a menu with button's that fade-in?

I've built a motion menu in AE, and had added text layers/buttons that fade-in through layer>Encore>Create Button. Once I import this into Encore through dynamic link I cannot link the buttons to the motion menu. I've added a sample.
Basically all I want is the play feature, Scene selection ,and credits to be selectable after they finish fading in @ the :20 mark. I don't want the menu to loop either.
I've tried to make a static menu(from last frame in AE) play after this, but, there is a one second gap or so before that static menu plays which just looks tacky. I have tried this in preview, and rendered it to a dvd with the same result.
All the tutorials i've come across really don't answer this question either.
Any help would be appreciated.

How do I make one menu listen to the selection of another menu?

Suppose here I've got 2 menus, Menu_A and Menu_B.
The items of Menu_A are A1, A2, A3.... and the items of Menu_B should be refreshed upon the selection of each Menu_A item.
For instance, if the user choose A1 in Menu_A, the items of Menu_B are updated as B1..... and if choosing A2 in Menu_A, Menu_B's items are updated as B2....
So anyway to handle this?

Such behavior is better suited to ChoiceBox than Menu... Users expect menus to be relatively stable.

More like the colors have changed to conform to their idiotic monochromatic push and dulling everything in sight, but I think the sizes are the same. Maybe, doesn't look good on the iOS devices they're testing it with. If it doesn't meet your needs or expectations, file a bug report with Apple for loss of functionality.

Thank you for looking at my problem!
Both my development system and test system are Window XP. The font size are all set to Normal. What other details do you need to know?
The text on front panel shows well on my development machine. But when the .exe runs on my test machine, the text size was not adjusted by itself so the text body got cut off.
I found a way to "fix" this problem: I had to drag the text box down and right so there is enough magin between the text body and the box on the right and at the bottom. I had to try it a few times until it finally shows well on my test machine. However, with those magins, it doesn't look nice on my development machine anymore. Also, I only tried on one test machine, if it looks good on one test machine, will it look good on all the other machines? Eventually my app is going to run on Window 7. I'll have to test that out and find out if it's still going to be a problem. Anyway, I don't feel this is the right way to do it. I hope someone knows what I'm talking about and have a soluction to it.

Provide an html menu for SEO purposes. If you want to keep the Flash version, consider providing the html at the bottom of the page as text links like you will see in many sites.
