How do I make a sound play once the .swf starts?

I have loaded 'Audio.wav' onto the Library, and given it a linkage name of 'Speedcore' without the apostrophes. I ticked the boxes 'Export for ActionScript' and 'Export in First Frame'.
I want it to start once the .swf begins. I set Audio to Stream.
This is a code I found but doesn't work

Thanks, I will try it. The only thing I need is to learn global values or whatever. I'm using a money-system and I need to learn how to make it so you can only buy 1 of an item, and all that. But atleast I know the basics. Thanks Kglad!

There are two ways to do this.
1. If you have it, use iMovie HD6. You can put all of your movies into one project, and add chapter markers at the beginning of each movie. This will allow you to play your movies straight through or select the individual movies, like a scene selection.
2. You can use iDVD instead. Check out this post by Old Toad on how to use this method.

Probably it's just a matter of associating the correct CSS file.
Open both topics in RoboHelp.
Edit a topic where things look correct.
Click the CSS icon as shown below:
Click the image below for larger view
Now edit the errant topic.
Click the same icon and choose the CSS file you saw earlier.

How can I make my movies play on the web!?!!!

I followed the tutorials by Tom Green on using Edge Animate to package your videos in order to place within Muse.
It's actually a simple process, (maybe too simple), because the content plays perfectly locally but once posted the movies are dead.
I drilled into the FTP and the files are all there neatly organized by Muse, but the browser can't play them at runtime.
Any help?

How do I make songs always play from the start of the track?

I have an iphone 3GS and I have an issue. I'm sure there's a really obvious fix for this, but I can't work out what it is - can someone please help me!
So the issue is... my music always starts playing from wherever I last paused the track, no matter when I last paused it. I tend to shuffle through my music and skip tracks a lot, and so I always want my music to start from the beginning of the track. It's so annoying when I get to a track and it starts blaring from halfway through the chorus, because that's where I paused it when I listened to it last month....
Please could someone tell me how to fix this??

That is NOT normal... Restore phone! If that doesn't fix it take it to aan apple store and have them look at it! The only time the iPod app should ever start In The middle of a song is if you're playing the song you last paused!

You just need to look in Help for the Sound class and possibly SoundChannel... if you have an MP3 in your library - right click it, and go to properties. Set the sound to export for ActionScript - and give it a class name - mySound will work. Then you can make it play with something as simple as:
var a:SoundChannel = new mySound().play();

ok but how I dont want to create webserver. I mean I can't affort it at this stage of my education. I can afford a webhosting. there are lot of opitons for webhosting are availabe. I can buy one for me. But I want to know what features of java or anything else should be available on that server. 2nd is what do u mean by socket programming. I understand http programming. It includes servlets and jsps. but what is socket programming and why i need it in this project.

How do you move a sound clip in the timeline?

I have not had this problem before. I have put many songs into the timeline, and repositioned them. Today I pulled up a project and attempted to reposition a song to fit in better with the clip, and I'm unable to do so. I can't select the song, or anything else. Obviously I have set or locked up this track, and I can't figure out how to unlock if that is what I have done. I have 6 songs on that track, Audio track 2, and I can't reposition any of them. I can't even remove them from that track. What am I doing wrong?

Hunt, most of my music files, over 9000 songs, are mostly mp3 files and a few are wma, and because of copyright laws I wouldn't use them in a commercial project I'm working on anyway. When I am working on a project for a client I will generally use higher quality WAV files. This project was being done just to learn some new techniques, gain some more experience with PPCS4, and expand my knowledge with the program. I have this huge number of music files and styles to work with, so I can do a great deal of experimentation to see what different songs can do to the mood of the video.
As a test, I did put the exact same songs into the timeline on a different audio track. The problem track is audio 2, and I duplicated those songs on audio 3. I did the exact same editing. I faded them in and out the same as before. Split one song into 3 sections had parts of it come in and out over a video section of 9 minutes duration. They are working perfectly. I was just working on one section of that project a half hour ago, and I was still able to select and move each of the four songs on that track any way that I wanted to. However, the track just above it in that same timeline, Track 2, is still frozen.
Hunt, just a moment ago I solved my problem. Still not being that familiar with the program, two days ago I know that I was playing with all of the controls, and I obviously hit one of them without knowing one of its side effects. I hit the show "show track keyframes". I'm sure that you know it, but I didn't realize that when that function is selected, you can't do much else with the track but play with those keyframe. Even though I didn't have the track locked, in the traditional way, it was still, for all practicall reasons, locked. I unchecked that function and now everything is back to normal again on that track.
Something very simple, as many things turn out to be when you understand it. However, maybe someone else will make the same mistake, and my posting here will help them.
I will use your suggestions for using .WAV files. Thank you again.

What is the purpose of using the .WMA files? I'm sure that you have a good reason, but they can be problematic, at best. I only use them as a trasfer medium, when I need to get a DD 5.1 SS soundtrack into Audition for editing. There, I break them out into 6 discrete .WAV files, edit in Multi-track Mode and then usually Export as the 6 discrete WAV's to be encoded to DTS, or similar.
If you do not have a compelling reason for using the .WMA, try PCM/WAV @ 48KHz 16-bit and see if the issues go away.

You can also use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2592/ NoSquint] add-on to change the default zoom level for all websites at once. After setting your global zoom level, you can fine-tune the zoom on individual sites and set the options so that NoSquint remembers per-site settings.
After installing NoSquint, go to the add-ons page to set the per-site settings:
* Tools (or [[Image: New Fx Menu]]) > Add-ons > Extensions
* Click the "Options" button by NoSquint

It's not going to show under purchases because it's a rental. You have to go into settings - iTunes - check for rental.
Note: a rental will disappear once it's expired (after 24hrs or 48 hrs depending on location)

Step1 with one job1 and step2 with one job1
In step2 , i have included the job definition to send mail. with below parameter.
Relative Job: Step 1, Job 1

Please let me know if the above method is correct or not.

Unfortunately, the recording & movie industry does not respect the rights of the people who make them money, and thus you can only use the paid-for content in ways they see fit. Even if I lived in a bunker where no one else could possibly see the movie I paid for, therefor I'm not 'sharing it illegally', I would still not be allowed in a blue moon to copy that movie to DVD for TV viewing. Someone will tell you to get an AppleTV. How about Apple give us one for free? Until this changes, people wanting to use their content in multiple locations will continue to download music & movies via torrents, legally or illegally.
