thats part of the old UI. You can try going in to apperances under system pref, but I do not belive you can change it anymore. You can always serch for a 3rd party way.

So, adobe doesn't support Encore anymore which means I can't use dynamic link to AE to create interactive DVD/Blu-Ray menus with motion.... or can I? Is there something I'm doing wrong? You can use the "Create After Effects Composition." This prompts you to create an independent version of the Encore PSD menu file, and opens the layered file in AE CC and creates a new composition with appropriate settings. AE no longer has mpeg export, so you export from AE to AME.
There were some workflow options that I did not play with much, but they were never what I saw as the basics for using AE to create the motion background.

How do I make my Bondi Blue iMac network wirelessly?
I'm trying to get my iMac to work wirelessly and to connect my wireless router/modem. Someone has offered me a Netgear WG111 USB adapter, but I'm not sure if this will work. If it does, can someone point me in the right direction as to how to set it up. If not, can you suggest how I can do this - either compatible USB adapters or cards that can be installed inside the iMac? If that isn't enough, I'm really trying to keep the cost of this down, so anything you can suggest that's affordable would be much appreciated!
While we're on the subject, can I upgrade this computer to OSX? I've got 96Mb of memory, 4 Gb hard drive!

Those WiFi adapters will allow your Mac to connect to standard WiFi and Airport networks.
As for upgrading to OS X, here's a copy of my reply to your other question:
The latest OS that will run without custom tweaking is OS 10.3.9.
That does require 256 MB of RAM. So, you will need to upgrade. Depending on the specific revision of your system, you can upgrade it to either 384 MB (revision A) or 512 MB (revision B).
The hard drive is absolutely minimal. It's barely enough to install OS X. So, you should definitely upgrade it. A 13 GB hard drive would be the lowest I'd consider. The computer will support up to 120 GB hard drives.
Now, if you really want to push it, you could possibly coax OS 10.4.x on the system. But, it would be problematic and may not work at all:

That free utility will help to install OS 10.4.x on machines that normally do not support it. There are some issues with the original Bondi iMac's, but it can be made to work.

How do you make the light turn blue?
I just got the TC and it seems to be working fine. I will be doing some speed tests, but with a 700MB iso I was able to get about 8MB / s wireless speed to hdd, so seems ok.
What I don't understand is how to make the light blue? The manual says blue is when it is accepting wireless clients, but hello...I am already connected to wireless, why does it stay green all the time.
Does anybody know what's wrong with that? I admit I didn't really read the complete manual and will do that soon, but maybe someone knows if it's still fine?You have the option of letting wireless clients join without having to enter the SSID password. This is done via an option in AirPort Utility. My guess is that when you select the option and it's actively scanning for clients trying to connect, the light will be blue. But once the clients are connected and you disable the option, the light will return to green. I haven't played with this yet as I always use my SSID and password, but feel free to explore the drop down menus of AirPort Utility and I'm sure you'll see what I'm referring to.

You can do this using a meta refresh but the problem is you have to add it to the html file for the page very time you publish changes.
A better way is to create a splash page and upload it to the server outside of the folder produced by iWeb. Example HERE.
The meta refresh is added to the head section of the html file...

xxI the blue box is uncehcked and you open iTunes prefs -> iPod and select Update only checked songs, only songs with a check in front will get updated onto the iPod.
I only use the checkmarks for stuff like Christmas songs and such I only want rarely on the iPod.
If your library is too large to fit on the iPod, iTunes will create a playlist for you.
Here's how I do it instead.
Create a Smart Playlist.
Make it Match Rules;
My rating is not one star.
Not heard in last 3 days.
Limit it to 3700 MB (for a 4 GB mini).
Open iTunes prefs -> iPod and select Auto update only this playlist.
Also, deselect Enable disk use.
When you want to change the music on the iPod, simply open the Smart playlist, select all the songs on it (ctrl A) and press delete.
They will all go away and it will fill up again. (It's a Smart Playlist)
Then connect the iPod to update it.
When listening, if there are songs you do not like, rate them one star and they will not get put back onto the iPod. -

Well, I am thirteen years of age, and I'm very addicted to Apple products (I currently have a iPod touch and iPad)
Now, my birthday is in November, and I will be 14 years old.
Well, a few weeks ago, I went to the Apple store, locally.
I just fell in love. With every worker with their blue t-shirt on with the Apple logo.
I played with the iPad mini, iMac, Macbook Air, and the iPhone of course.
I just literally fell in love with touching all of the devices. I didn't get around to the iPod touch or Macbook Pro.
And, I do want the iPhone 5. Because mostly all teens are getting iPhones.
One thing about the iPhone, that is not letting me get it, is because my sister says I don't talk on the phone that much, but neither does she!
I currently don't have any phone, except a Straight Talk phone which I never use.
I mostly my iMessage and Pinger to text my friends.
So, I keep asking them for an iPhone.
I don't even care if I get the iPhone 4.
I just want one! But I mostly want something with Siri, and that narrows out the iPhone 4.
But lately, I've being lying a lot.
They mostly forgive me though.
So, is there any tips I could get to try to make them give me the iPhone 5?
It would be nice to go into school right after my birthday with the iPhone 5 in my back pocket.

Before installing the Firefox v3.6, my quicktime plugin was working. After I installed v3.6, the quicktime plugin didn't work. I tried to uninstall v3.6 and installed back v3.5, but the quicktime plugin is still not working. How can I make it work again or how to fix this? Thanks.
Is there a way to undo the installation of Firefox v3.6, meaning to remove any traces of Firefox 3.6 installation, because this problem only came after I installed Firefox 3.6.
I'm able to play streaming videos from websites (e.g. http://www.singingsuccess.tv/videos/?vid=251) BEFORE I installed v3.6. AFTER installing v3.6, the streaming video now shows a blue Q with a question mark in the center. I tried to uninstall that version and install back v3.5, but the problem still exist.

I don't know what you mean by a licensed version of QuickTime. Do you have QuickTime Pro (paid version) or the free version?
If you are updating the free version, just download it from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ and then install it on top of your current version (no need to uninstall it first).
