How do I make my website's menu sidebar fill up the entire side area?

Notice how the menu sidebar only fills the tiny area surrounding the menu text? Yeah, I don't like that. I want it to fill up the entire side area (apart from where the headbar and footbar are), like they've got on a lot of other sites I've seen (Examples: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page http://www.deviantart.com/ ). How do I do that?

Hello, the kind, brilliant people on this forum have always been able to help me in the past, so I thought I'd give it a try today. Items in a form (list/menu) that I've created are opening in a blank window (pop-up) when clicked. I would like them to open in "self" mode so that pop up blockers on various computers don't become a challenge for site visitors. Can anyone please tell me how I could make that adjustment? I selected the entire form "red dotted line" around the list and changed the "target" in the properties menu to "self". Then I selected everything on the page and still not correct. I am inserting the code below. Any assistance to get me on the right track would be GREATLY appreciated!! BTW I also made the form a library item (just in case that fact is needed). Looks like it still isn't working. When I removed those items the drop down menu stopped working as well. I went ahead and posted yours as the correct answer. I'm convinced it's my skill level. i'm gonna do some javascript searches to see where the js code should go, it's very confusing to me. You can't do this directly in iWeb itself and it is quite complex - you need to use third party software and it is a matter of pasting code into the html snippet in iWeb and then uploading certain things to your host/server and then connecting them. It can get quite fiddly if you don't really know what you are doing and it only takes you to upload the wrong thing and get some code wrong and your menu will not show up.
Why not ditch iWeb in favour of newer software - try EverWeb at http://www.everwebapp.com and in EverWeb you can create drop down menus from within the app and it is very easy to do.
I would change now as iWeb has not been supported by Apple or sold for the last 2 years, so now might be a good time to look elsewhere and ditch iWeb for good.
I already have and purchased EverWeb and re-built one of my sites using this app and have moved my other site to Drupal so that I can do more with it and make it a members site - this can be done more easily if you use a Content Management System like Drupal.

We won't be able to put the address from a formula into the same cell that you enter the customer's name. We can put the address in the cell under the customers name.
First let's take James advice and concatenate the address in the address table.
Here is the formula in G2

It shows this way because after I clicked on B2 and typed [&"] (no brackets) I typed option-return
This gives you your new line. Then I typed the closing ". I repeated this for the rest of the address.
Next we want to bring this to your order sheet. I prefer using the two formulas OFFSET and MATCH instead of VLOOKUP.
base tells OFFSETwhere to start counting from. Click A1.
row-offset is for the row. we will use MATCH() -1 to give us the row.
What MATCH does is give you the row number where something is found and you can specify an exact match. I usually construct the MATCH formula first and then cut and paste it into OFFSET. MATCH looks like this: MATCH(A2,Table 1::A,0). A2 is what we are looking for, Table 1A::A is where we are looking (the entire column A), and 0 means we want an exact match. Can you see it inside the OFFSET formula? Notice that we had to subtract 1 from its result.
column-offset tells OFFSET which column A=0 so we want 6.
we ignore "rows", "colomns" we don't need them.
If this seems like too much, just break it down into small pieces.

If someone sends you an attachment, it's going to show up where they attached it in their message to you.
Messages with attachments show a paper clip icon in two places, in the middle column of the Mail window, next to the senders name, and next to the sender's name at the top of the message itself.
One way to make messages with attachments show more clearly is to create a Mail Rule, like this:
By setting a colored background to the messages that contain attachments, they'll stand out pretty clearly in the message list.
Note that there are several different types of attachments in the dropdown menu (where you see Document and PDF above). Keep pressing the plus sign to add different attachment types to your rule so that all will stand out on your list of messages.

I have viewed the Muse tutorial that expands the Footer area to fill in the whole screen, but it does not address how to do this for the main part of the web page, or the header. I have looked at the site setup section and do not see where I could set it to expand.

Okay, in your link the blue bars would be in muse as a blue box then drag the right side so that it stamps just outside your page area. This will make muse program it so you will always see it extend to fill the browser window. Do the same on left side and you should be good. It will work even better if you also centre the rest of your content under page, page properties, padding - check the box for centre horizontally. Any content you want to extend with the browser, while the rest stays centred, you have to drag extending the content so it snaps just outside the main page in muse.

1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.
Note: This is now your Library. It's not a Back Up, and you need another disk for backing up.

You can add as many users as you want! Just lather, rinse repeat. That is how I share my itunes
directory with the ones I want to share it with.
That's the simplest way. ACL permissions overrule posix permissions.

How do I make a JTable's header sorting actually change the actual table?
Currently, I'm using
table.setAutoCreateRowSorter(true);to allow the user to sort the table.
However, I want to be able to load something based on the selected row's index. The problem is that when the table is rearranged, the change appears to only be local, in other words, the actual table isn't changing.
For instance:
index 0 "A"
index 1 "B"
index 2 "C"
Sorted in reverse gives me
"C"
"B"
"A"
But C is still index 2 (instead of 0).

Is the only way to make it fill in the page to make the page width wider??? If thats the case do you guys have a recommened width number I should be around?

iWeb pages are centered and have a fixed width, which you can change in the inspector.
You have to take a lot of variables into account to decide what is the best width.
Who will visit your pages and with what. From a 30" Desktop monitor to the iPhone/iPod touch and other brands of mobile phones, etc.
Apple recommends a width of 980 pixels. Obviously with their products in mind.

That worked, thanks. When I turn on the pc, I almost always go to the internet before anything else, so this eliminates one step. It doesn't seem to save any time, however, but it is easy. If anyone else wants to try this, it looks like it's very easy to undo if you change your mind.
