How do I malloc() in java?

Question

Hi, I am new to Java.
I know java does not handle pointers, so how do one implements dynamic memory allocation in Java like using malloc() in C++

I am asking this to implement a interlaced list, in
which I hold a pointer to a list header, and forget
about the rest of the elements. i can get any of them
by just following the pointers each element has to the
next element.
[../P1] -> [e1/P2] -> [e2/P3] -> [e3/P4] -> [e4/P5] ->
[e5/NULL]
So... Can I allocate memory of the size of two
integers, and then forget about referencing it through
the Name of a variable but using something similar to
a pointer (P1,P2...)That would be a linked list. Yes you could easily do that in Java. You define a class with an element and a next pointer. Then you create objects from this class using new, and set up the list.
As an alternative you could use a Java ready-made linked list called class LinkedList. You just start using it.
Even though the Java syntax is similar to C the way of thinking differs because Java is object oriented.
