How do I modify text in a 3D scene

I am trying to display some live data inside a 3D picture. However, I just can't figure out how ot modify the text after I have added the object tot he scene. If I attempt to modify the text using the reference of the text object I created I get a message sayign teh reference is invalid (1055 I believe).
Anyone out there have any experience with this?

How do i modify text ins

Is there a simple way of modifying data in a text file ? i'm basically writing a program that searches through a text file for specifi text, if it come across the text it is suppose to modify it...
here is the code i have so far:

but in general, you save everything that is not part
of the word they typed to a StringBuffer and then when
you find the word they typed you place your word in
the StringBuffer and then keep parsing past the word
you skipped in the original line of text.do what i said above.
1. create a StringBuffer to hold all the values.
2. read the word from the file.
3. if it is to be replaced, append the new word to the StringBuffer. if it not to be replaced, append the word you just read into the StringBuffer.
4. after you've read through the entire file, close the BufferedReader.
5. Create a FileWriter and write your StringBuffer to the new file. Then close the FileWriter.

Not easily or readily available as of now. It WILL be part of the new features in the NetWeaver 04 release. (*This same question was asked in my EP6 certification class one week ago and this is the answer I got.)

How do I add text to an image?

I have purchased a template and imported it to Photoshop. I then sliced the template into sections, saved it for web and opened the index file in dreamweaver. My questions is, how do I add text to the images? I want to add the text content, within the boxes on the template, but because they are exported as images from Photshop I can't seem to do it...So let's say there is a box in the middle of the template and I want it to say, Services at the top and below that have a little information about the services offered with a "read more" button at the bottom. I have exported the template out of photoshop with text added and with the boxes empty. I tried to add the text in dreamweaver but couldn't. When I export the sliced template out of photoshop with the text already included, it does show up in Dreamweaver, however it is not in html and I would like it to be for SEO purposes. Forgive me if this question is silly or already answered, I have looked everywhere and couldn't find the answer.

How to clear the text in the Text Editor

Hi all,
I created a Text editor and also i am having language field in the screen.
whenever i change the language auomatically the text has to change when the text exists for that
language.
this is working fine, but when the Text exist , the text editor should be blank.
But it is carrying the Previous editor text itself into it .
How to clear the text in the Editor.

Hi,
I presume you are talking about a report display in ALV and u wish to add a column to it .
If it is a global requirement ,as in table being used there in ALV can be modified, then you can append the table and the system should pick up the same automatically from there.
Otherwise , you can make a Z program . Modify the catalog being used in ALV.

Problem in reading the modified text from text editor

Hi all,
Im using text editor for saving the long text entered in the text editor as standard text in So10 tcode.
Here im facing an issue in reading the text from text editor. That is, when the text is entered by the user for first time, then the below method reads the text successfully.   But when i do some changes in the existing text present in the text editor and try to read, then the modified text is not returned by the below method.
I use the "CALL METHOD g_editor_ftext1->get_text_as_stream" to read the text. Given below is my code.

I attached a SubVI which I used to place an overlay next to a Pattern, found by a Pattern Match before:
As you can see, you simply pass the image reference and the Array of Matches to the VI along with the String you want to have as an overlay next to the Match.
I also modified your VI a bit, but didn't test it. I created an Array of clusters, each elment containing the template path along with the respective text.
Please note that this is just a hint!

How to delete modified version datasource

I have a datasource in M version and A version. I am getting datasource activation error in BI 7.0
Please let me know how to delete Modified version.

I removed a field from LO datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM , activated, tested successfully in R/3.
I replicated the datasource successfully in BW. But when activate the data source I am getting short dump ST22 ,the error message is " The ASSERT condition was violated". I am BI 7.0.
BW side in datasouece I found a not equal to sign ( which means M version is not equal to A version) and datasource is inactive.
ST22 -

    The ASSERT condition was violated.
Error analysis
    The following checkpoint group was used: "No checkpoint group specified"
    If in the ASSERT statement the addition FIELDS was used, you can find

I see. This really has nothing to do with FormsCentral (the forum where you posted to), but that's OK.
If I were in your situation and only had a scan, I would recreate it in a word processor and generate a new PDF. Since I have Acrobat, I could speed things along by using its OCR capability and export to text or a Word document. I'd then use Acrobat to generate the new PDF. If you have Word, it is now able to save to PDF, as is the free OpenOffice suite, and many others.
Your resume should look as good as it can, so don't stick with a scan. I've helped clients deal with collections of resumes that they receive as PDFs and they often want to be able to extract text, which isn't possible if there isn't any, as with a scan.

Modifying text ids

Hi,
I have a local text object 'YTEXT' and a text id 'Y001'. There is some text say &include_abc& attached to that. Now I have to modify this text but I am clueless how to do it. Transaction SO10 doesn't find 'YTEXT' and transaction SE75 couldn't take me to &include_abc& at all.
Please guide me step by step on how can I modify already existing text.

The tect &include_abc& must be some where in the program.Find tht text in ur main program.That value must be coming frm FM 'READ_TEXT'.U better go to "READ_TEXT" FM and put all those values that is text object 'as YTEXT' and a text id 'Y001' and run that FM.Frm there u can verify tht the same text is comin or not.Once u verified tht then u can go the transaction and whatever it may be means ur header long text or item long text u can easily go to tht and change that.

I have created a distributable form however I have a typo how do I modify?

I have created a form and I noticed that there is a typo in the text I can't modify as it gives me a protected error message. How can I modify the content before actually sending this out.

I'm assuming this is a PDF form, correct? Did you create it in FormsCentral from a web form design or did you create it in Acrobat? In any case, you can make the corrections and distribute the PDF again in FormsCentral.

You tell Pages what language the text is by selecting it and applying:
Inspector > Text > More > Language > Espagñol
Language is like bold or underlined or ALL CAPS, it is part of the text's style. In fact making it part of a style in the Styles Drawer is a quick way of applying it.
The default language is whatever you have set the System to.
