How do I pass a webbpage through my server?

Hello
I am developing a webportal, consisting of a client (applet), a login-server (java program) and a web-server (qlikview developed by qliktech). The login-server and the web-server will be located on the same machine and communicate through localhost. The Client will be located on another machine and communicate with the login-server through internet (SSL). The client will only have access to the login-server. My problem came up when a user has logged in to the login-server and wants to access a web-page on the web-server. How can I bypass the web-page from the web-server through the login-server to the client?I already blocked the webserver so no communication except localhost is allowed.
Any suggestions?

It seems to me that you have to look at you design again...
If you dont want your client to access the web server(why not anyways... you can always put some kind of validations there), the you have to allow your login server to get the data from the web server.
One way you could do it, from the login server you make an URL connection to the web server, with the url the client has requested:
http://yourservers/somecontenthere would become:
http://localhost/somecontenthere
then you would return to the client the content the web server returns, using the input stream from the URL object.
Sorry for not being of much help, but I don't really see another way of archiving what you want using other way.

    Use the web.show_document, check the online help for more details. It will open the default browser.
    Ex :
    WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT('http://www.oracle.com');
    Even the HOST command works :

  • Reg: Passing Image url through CSS Class

    Hi,
    How can i pass the image through Css class ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    I am not sure if that can be done in css file though.
    I suppose you are using the backing bean for setting the skin (just read your old thread). If yes, you can add two images to your page and set the visible property according to the current skin. Something like
    <af:image id="i1" source="../images/first_logo.gif" visible="#{seesionScope.currentSkin == 'First'}"/>
    <af:image id="i2" source="../images/second_logo.gif" visible="#{seesionScope.currentSkin == 'Second'}"/>
    If i select Second CSS file then the logo will be change according to the style class defined in First CSS file .AFAIK, the company logo would be static ;) .

    Hello,
    We have a diagnostic tool called Post [1] that will post the request
    directly to a SOAP server. You can also try the graphical tool WeX [2]
    so you can see what is happening at the wire level.
    I may have misunderstood your question and goal. The purpose of the
    JAX-RPC [3] API is to provide a high-level abstraction of SOAP
    communications such as you describe.
    What is your use case?

  • How to pass attribute values through variables in JSP  Custom TagLib

    Hi,
    Can anybody help me how to pass values through varuables in the jsp custom tag.
    i am using JSP custom tag. I am unable to pass attribute values through variables.
    <invitation:invdetails invid="<%=invid%>"/> The value is passing as <%=invid%> ,not value of the invid.
    But i am getting throuh the fllowing
    <invitation:invdetails invid='1' />
    Please anybody suggest me how to pass value by using the variable.

    Hi,
    It sounds like you need to set the <rtexprvalue> tag to true in the TLD for your tag. If you do this the tag will read in the value you are trying to pass to it.

  • How to pass form value through URL?

    I have a page set up so that pressing the submit on a form will execute a certain page. For certain reasons I also have a URL HREF link that performs a different function. I need to get the value of a radio button group (all with the same name) and pass that value through the URL if it is pressed. So if someone clicks on the second radio button in the list which has a value of 2, I need to somehow set that to a variable to pass through a URL link. Each time the user changes the radio button I need to dynamically change the variable too.
    Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks for the suggestions everyone. Here is what I have so far:
    I have a cfInput that binds to the radio buttons so the value of the cfinput changes dynamically.
    I have a CFDIV that binds to a separate .cfm page that passes the cfinput through as an argument.
    The .cfm is very basic:
    <cfoutput>
        <cfif isdefined("url.InputText") AND url.InputText NEQ "">
            <cfset FeedVar = #url.InputText#>
        <cfelse>
        </cfif>
    </cfoutput>
    This method appears to work and it sets the Feedvar variable to the appropriate value. However on my first page with the cfdiv tag when I try to pass the #FeedVar# variable through a URL it says it is not defined.
    Any clue if I am doing something wrong passing the new variable back?
    Here is the CFINPUT and CFDIV tags:
    <cfinput type="text" name="update_typeURL" bind="{update_type}" bindonload="true" />
    <cfdiv bind="URL:setURlVar.cfm?InputText={update_type}" ID="theDiv" bindonload="true"  />
    Any ideas on how to read the newly set variable?

    We are using ADF Webservice proxy client to integrate E-Business suite with ADF. It asks for username/password to access details from E-BS. In the generated webservice XSD file, a method is available with 2 parameters.
    1) SOAP header( Contains Username, responsibility and 2 more fields)

    hi Dario
    Thank you for your post. It is really helpful. Now I got stuck with a doubt, in this piece of code
    final Binding binding = ((BindingProvider) servicePort).getBinding();
    List<Handler> handlerList = binding.getHandlerChain();
    if (handlerList == null)
    handlerList = new ArrayList<Handler>();
    They didn't mention properly about "*servicePort*". What object is this?
    I checked in Oracle document, even in that I was not clear with that piece of code.
    public class HandlerWS{
    @Resource WebServiceContext ctx;
    @WebMethod()
    public String getProperty(String propertyName) {
    return (String) ctx.getMessageContext().get(propertyName);
    public class Main {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    HandlerWS test;
    try {
    test = new HandlerWS(new URL(args[0] + "?WSDL"), new
    QName("http://example.org", "HandlerWS") );
    } catch (MalformedURLException murl) { throw new RuntimeException(murl); }
    HandlerWSPortType port = test.*getHandlerWSPortTypePort*();
    What is this HandlerWSPortType object???. Can you give me little more explanation about it?

  • How do I pass a username form variable from a drop down list/menu to another page?

    Hi,
    I have a login_success.php page that has a drop down list/menu (which lists usernames). I want the user to click on their user name, and when they click the submit button the username information to be passed over to the username.php page which will contain a recordset, sorted by username.
    How do I pass the username info from the drop down list/menu to the username.php page?
    The drop down menu is connected to a recordset listUsername, I have filtered the recordset with the Form Variable = username, and I have used the POST method to send the username to the page username.php. I'm not sure how to structure the php or which page to place it on.
    <form id="form1" name="form1 method="post" action="username.php">
         <label for="username_id">choose username:</label>
         <select name="username_id" id-"username_id">
              <option value="1">username1</option>
              <option value="2">username2</option>
              <option value="3">username3</option>
              <option value="4">username4</option>
         </select>
         <input type="submit" name="send" id="send" value="Submit" />
         <input type="username" type="hidden" id="username" value="<?php echo $row_listUsername['username']; ?>" />
    </form>
    Could somebody help me please?
    Thanks.

    I would not post the variable over, In this case I personally would send it through the URL and use the $_GET method to retreve it. For Example.
    <html>
         <head>
              <title>Test Page</title>
              <script type="text/javascript">
                   function userID(){
                        //var ID = form1.userIDs.selectedIndex;
                        var user = form1.userIDs.options[form1.userIDs.selectedIndex].value;
                        window.location = "test.html?userID=" + user;
              </script>
         </head>
         <body>
              <form id="form1">
                   <select name="userIDs" id="userIDs" onchange="userID();">
                        <option>Select a User</option>
                        <option value="1">User 1</option>
                        <option value="2">User 2</option>
                        <option value="3">User 3</option>
                        <option value="4">User 4</option>
                   </select>
              </form>
         </body>
    </html>
    //PAGE TO RETRIEVE THE USERNAME
    <?php
    if(isset($_GET['userID'])
         $userID = $_GET['userID'];
         echo $userID;
         die;

  • How do you pass an ActiveX Variant from an external application to LabVIEW?

    Background: I created a LabVIEW ActiveX server. I can access it with my external application (Matlab). I have a control variable in my LabVIEW executable. I want to use Active X to set the value of my control variable from my external application.
    Documentation: The only reference in the documentation for this task is in the Using ActiveX with LabVIEW in the LabVIEW 2009 help. It simply says "Use the variant control and indicator to pass data to or from ActiveX controls." I also went through all the ActiveX examples in the example finder and did not find any vis that passed variables using ActiveX.
    Questions:
    What should my control variable look like in LabVIEW? Should it be a refnum, a variant, or a data type? Does it have to be wired to a vi connector?
    Do I need to do any magic on this variable, such as change its properties?
    How do I pass the value from my external application to the variable in my LabVIEW executable?
    Thank you.

    Hello Lyn,
     The control variable should be a refnum and it would have to be wired to Automation Open with the correct reference.

    Hello Rohan...
    to export a table use the following
    DATA: wa_indx TYPE indx.
      EXPORT tab = itab TO DATABASE indx(xy) FROM wa_indx CLIENT
      SY-MANDT
      ID 'DETAILLIST'.
    to import use this
    imports from database the list sent by the calling program
      IMPORT tab = itab FROM DATABASE indx(xy) TO wa_indx CLIENT sy-mandt
      ID 'DETAILLIST'.
    deletes the data to save wastage of memory
      DELETE FROM DATABASE indx(xy)

  • Passing prompt filters through an URL

    My report has very long results table.
    The user ask to have, instead of the table view (which sometimes crashes the browser), a way to execute the report and download it to xls.
    I want to add section in the page, below the prompts, which will display the user a URL link to this report.
    I've read that I can add in the end of the URL the xls format: https://myip/analytics/saw.dll?Go&Path=mypath&format=XLS
    The issue is how to pass the presentation variables, which the report require.
    For example, the report has filter:
    day>@{p_day}
    The p_day is populated by the prompt in the upper side of the page, when the URL link should appear.
    I read the http://gerardnico.com/wiki/dat/obiee/url_filter, where he mentioned the case of 'Data Quality Metrics is prompt', but he didn't show the solution.
    How can I pass the presentaiton variable value in the URL link?

    Nir,
    You should really search through the forums before posting your questions as this/similar question has been answers a few times.
    But I'll take the points that you are going to award me though for providing you with the information and answer to your question. : )
    Towards the bottom of this blog post you will find the answer you seek on how to pas the presentation variables in the URL,

    Other Forum Threads:
    Filter a dashboard prompt using GO URL
    Code snippet from iwarelogic's blog post:
    You can also pass Presentation variable in form @{variable_name} as a filter using GOURL.
    And static variable in form VALUEOF(static_var_name)
    Ex :
    '<a href=http:// '||VALUEOF(domain_name)|| ' :9704/analytics/saw.dll?GO&path=/shared/Operational%20Reports/Scorecard&Options=d&Action=Navigate&P0=3&P1=eq&P2=%22Reporting%20Line%22.%22Reporting%20Line%20Domain%22&P3='||REPLACE("Reporting Line"."Reporting Line Domain",' ','%20')|| '&P4=eq&P5=Geography.Dominion&P6='||REPLACE('@{DominionPromptVar',' ','%20') ||'&P7=eq&P8=Geography.%22Country%20Name%22 &P9='||REPLACE('@{CountryNamePromptVar}',' ','%20') ||'>' || Link || ''
    Note : Passing Parameters to the Report using GO URL is optional argument

  • Passing Image data through JNI?

    Hello,
    I am trying find the fastest way to pass image data from Java through JNI. Passing Java images through JNI seems to be a very common thing to do so I expect there's an oft-used approach. Can anyone give me a good explanation of this or point me to some references?
    I need to pass the image data to a C++ function which operates on this data, writing the results to a destination buffer which goes back to Java and gets put back into an image.
    Currently, I'm using BufferedImages and getRGB to get an int array from my source image, passing this through JNI along with another int array to be used as the destination buffer, then calling setRGB with my destination buffer after the JNI function returns. getRGB() preserves the alpha channel of png files, which is functionality I need. The problem with this approach is that getRGB is extremely slow. It can take up to two seconds with a large image on my 1.2 Ghz Athlon. It seems to be performing a copy of the entire source image's data. Maybe there is a way to decode a jpg or png directly into an int array?
    -Aaron Dwyer

    Here's how you could do it for TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR
    BufferedImage img=new BufferedImage(13,10,BufferedImage.TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR);
    img.setRGB(0,0,0xff0000);
    img.setRGB(5,1,0x00ff00);
    img.setRGB(1,1,0xcafebabe);
    DataBuffer db=img.getRaster().getDataBuffer();
    int dataType=db.getDataType();
    if (dataType!=DataBuffer.TYPE_BYTE)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for TYPE_BYTE");
    int imgType=img.getType();
    if (imgType!=BufferedImage.TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for TYPE_4BYTE_ABGR");
    DataBufferByte dbi=(DataBufferByte)db;
    byte[] array=dbi.getData();
    SampleModel model=img.getSampleModel();
    if (!(model instanceof PixelInterleavedSampleModel))
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for PixelInterleavedSampleModel");
    PixelInterleavedSampleModel pisModel=(PixelInterleavedSampleModel)model;
    if (pisModel.getPixelStride()!=4)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for pixel stride of 4");
    if (dbi.getNumBanks()!=1)
         throw new IllegalStateException("I can do it only for 1 band");
    int scanlineBytes=pisModel.getScanlineStride();
    // Access the green Pixel on Position 5,1
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Alpha
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4+1 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Red
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4+2 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Green
    System.out.println( (int)array[5*4+3 + scanlineBytes] &0xff);     // Blue     I've added some checks to make sure we're accessing the data the right way.
