There are no SMS "drafts." As explained in the User Guide, in an SMS conversation, recieved messages have a green backgound and sent messages a white background

It shows it in blocks between significant elapsed amounts of time in the message thread, but if it is the last message sent/received in a thread you can view the time it was sent / received in the inbox. Other than that there is no option

They should be stored locally on the phone in the Sent folder (Mail, scroll down past inboxes, select Account, see Sent folder). But that's all.
IMAP is really a better setup than POP if you are accessing from multiple places, but if IMAP isn't possible, the usual approach is to tell the phone to BCC you on all your sent mail (Settings, Mail, scroll down past the Accounts, tap ON for "always BCC myself").

When I receive an SMS message from a person in my address book, the Messages app in my iPhone shows the name of the person who sent the message. At the top of the conversation, I can tap the word "Contact", which brings up the Contact's name, a phone icon, a camera icon, and a letter i in a circle. If I tap the i, it brings up the sender's record from my address book. How do I know which of the sender's multiple phone numbers is the number that he sent the message from?

6230i - how to process vCards received by SMS

My son has a 6230i and for as long as he's had it we cannot work out how to process vCards received by SMS. In desperation, we used Bluetooth to copy all my contacts across and he deleted the ones he didn't want. *Surely* the 6230 can receive an SMS'd vCard and place it in its phonebook? Even my wife's scummy Samsung (now 5+ years old) can do THAT!

This phone does not support the v card.

Not Receiving Text (SMS) Messages (On Rogers Network)

I have recently been experiencing trouble with my iPhone 4s. I would send text messages, however, the recipient would receive them, text me back and I would not get their texts back. After a few days or so, I would receive all the texts I did not receive in bulks. This has happened a few times already. My friends/family members who own a Blackberry have been receiving a notification that there is network congestion. (However, iPhone or Android users do not receive the same notification). No one I know is experiencing the same problem as I am.
I am on the Rogers network, texting phones (Blackberrys, iPhones, Androids) on the Fido, Rogers, Telus and Bell networks.
Is this a network problem or a phone problem?

I am having the exact problem - also a Rogers Customer with an iPhone 4S.   The rest of my family have Blackberrys (on Rogers, and Koodo).    When they text or BBM each other they each receive each others messages immediately.    When I try to text them, most times they receive the text after a delay which can be several minutes or up to a few hours.   Oddly, when they respond to the text, I receive the response immediately.
I believe this to be a hardware related issue, and am trying to isolate when it happens.    BTW - I get a similar problem with email - where it will not send and eventually goes to the outbox.    I have to resend and sometimes have to disconnect from the network (by turning on Airplane Mode) then re-connect before the emails get sent.
BTW, I am not running IOS 6 yet because I do not want to lose Google maps.   Running - 5.1.1

How can i see previous sent mail and junk mail on my new iMac?

I'm new imac user.I use Mavericks 10.9.When i install my mail accounts one of them which is Hotmail my imac downloaded whole incoming box.this is ok.But didnt download previous sent outgoing mail.So my outgoing folder empty.And how can i see my junk mail on my new imac's mail app.

Receiving duplicate SMS messages

I am using the Sprint Blackberry 8830 WE in Berlin, Germany using a pre-paid Vodafone SIM card. When I receive an SMS, I get the same SMS message multiple times at regular time intervals: At first the messages are close together (1-2 minutes apart), then they're hourly, then daily. Since I send SMS with multiple people, I'm bombarded with SMS messages throughout the day and night.
I've used this phone in Vietnam and did not have this problem.
I suspect that the phone carrier is not getting a confirmation that the SMS was received so it tries again, but I'm not sure. Is there any configuration setting I should look out for?

By default all the email messages will arrive in your Messages folder as well as the designated email folder. This is not duplicate emails and it's not consuming any additional memory in your device.

How do I delete a sent video message?

Basically, I did something stupid. I do singing and I didn't have enough data on my iPod to record my voice and play it back so I used a video message and planned NOT to send it. It pointed at my face and I sang a song. I accidentally pressed send and HOPEFULLY the person hasn't seen it. I need to delete it because the person I sent it to is a good friend but I am so scared! I need to get this off of her messages, like, urgently! Please please please I am so scared.

How to keep traces of sent sms ?

Hello,
I've just installed 'Nokia PC Suite 7.1.18.0' on my Laptop.
If I'm able to send SMS without any problems, I can't find any traces of these sent sms in PC Suite nor in the 'Sent Items' box on my mobile.
Is there a way to keep a copy of sms sent ?

Hi,
As i said earlier, it seems a device specific issue only Becuase if the issue is with communication centre it should happen with all the handsets, to make sure this if possible you can do two things
Check your handset in different pc (may be Vista and XP ), if its not storing in any of the pc, its device specific
You can check any other phones of your friends (apart from 6233), and if communication centre shows the sent messages of other phones, you can be assured it is device specific
I am pretty sure that this issue is with device and not with Communication centre

Javascript is active by default, unless you are using NoScript (an add-on)
If you can't see any video, maybe you don't have the necessary plugins. By watching the list of plugins installed in you computer, I realise you don't have flash, do you?

How do I change the sent SMS sound?

I went to settings, sounds. There is no option for the sound my phone makes when it successfully sends an SMS message. I want to silence it. Thanks so much in advance!

As far as I know, you can't. It's a default sound and it cannot be turned off. The only time the sound isn't heard is when your phone is on silent. Hope this helps!
