How do I set redirect to a specific target

response.setStatus(301);
response.setHeader("Location", "http://www.google.com");
response.setHeader("Connection", "close");is the code I use to set a redirection from my jsp page.
This page resides in an iframe in the main page and I would like to set the target to "_parent".
Any idea how I could do this?

Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong, but there is no way to make a redirect change the target. That has to be set from the client side html. You could create a JSP page that serves as a redirect proxy. So instead of redirecting to google, redirect to your own JSP page that has a dynamic onLoad function that will then redirect to google with a target of _parent.  Not the prettiest, but it might do what you want.

  • How to make Webgate redirect to a specific resource based on AD Attributes?

    My client has already purchased Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g, which contains the OID 11g suite. They have an initiative to enable SSO based access to their business apps for both internal and external users. They have already implemented AD and also FMW 11g with OID integrated with AD.
    We need to provide a path way for legacy portals to integrate into this environment. One the goals is to have a single URL (let's call it one.company.com) by which employees, customers & business partners access all business applications. The long term goal is to leverage WebCenter to be the portal framework, which provides access to all business app. However, the client has prioritized the SSO integration over the portal framework integration at this point.
    So the interim solution needs to address the following use case:
    Internal User:
    1. Log into workstation via MS AD DC, get Kerberos token set on workstation.
    2. Open browser and navigate to https://one.company.com, browser either silently authenticates via Windows Native Authentication (IE for example) or presents user a challenge box asking for authen&author creds (FF for example).
    3. WebGate installed on OHS works with OAM (which works with OID) to authenticate the user, assume Auth OK
    4. <Some Component> works with OAM to obtain user's roles. If user has role 1 redirect to site 1 (assume this is the legacy portal, which has been modified to work with Oracle SSO), otherwise if user has role 2, then redirect to site 2 (assume this is web center)
    The reference to <Some Component> in #4 is what we need help answering. We suspect it is WebGate, and from some reading I have done I know that there are apache directives that can be used to do conditional redirects. I'm just missing the link between getting the roles out of OAM and instructing the web server which resource to redirect to based on OID role.
    We also have a very similar use case for external access (to the same site, https://one.company.com). It will be assumed that all users are AD enabled even external ones. For external access, all users will first land on a company wide common login page, which will ask for AD user name & pwd. After submitting credentials, the same scenario plays from above, starting at step 3. All applications will be programmed to read the obssoToken (via browser cookie or server headers) to understand user details.
    Has anyone had to architect this kind of deployment before? If so, how did you deal with it? Was it as simple as the whole WebGate/Apache redirect setup I am thinking of?
    Thanks,
    FM

    I choked on my mango lassi while reading this..but as our chinese brothers and sisters say, A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

But let's say FF doesn't do Kerberos or let's say it's an external user. Have you tried implementing this mechanism with OAM 11g? I would start there. You may not get to your next steps.

  • How can I set default copies for specific report?

    I'm trying to set a default of one copy on a specific concurrent request. In this particular case, the NACHA request that produces the NACHA magnetic file. I have a dummy custom printer driver, style, etc. setup and attached to the NACHA concurrent program so that when it executes (as long as the user remembers to put 1 in the Copies field on the concurrent request screen) it will execute the Unix shell script (it grabs the file and FTP's it somewhere).
    The problem is, if the user forgets to put 1 in Copies, the Unix shell script won't execute. I'd like to make it so this one request comes up with a default of 1 in Copies. The only way I know of to set copies is in the site profile, application profile (like HR, AP, etc.) or user profile. I really don't want any of these because then the default will be set for all reports within those respective profiles. I was hoping there was a way to set the number of copies in the printer control file, but thus far I can't find any current documentation that shows the syntax of the available commands for the printer control file. Found something on the Internet, but it looked like it was for Oracle 7, perhaps. We're on 11i. On that page, I saw nothing about setting copies, so I don't know if it was just missed, isn't possible or is possible in the new version.

    Looks like I may have found my answer.
    Create a report set
    Add the concurrent program to the report set
    set copies in the options zone of the report set to 1
    Run the report set instead of the concurrent program itself and the copies will always be defaulted to 1.

  • How do I set timed access for specific mac addresses?

    My daughter tends to stay up late on social media long after we've asked her to go to bed, so I'd like to use the AirPort Utility to just shut off her internet access during set hours. It looks fairly straightforward to set up, however, I don't know how to find her MAC address for her iPod. Can anyone enlighten me?

    iPods, IPhones, and iPads do not have a MAC Address.
    On the iPod home screen, tap Settings
    Scroll down and tap General
    Tap About
    Scroll down to locate the Wi-Fi Address
    Use the WiFi Address of an iPod, iPhone, or iPad in place of the MAC Address when you are setting up rules in Timed Access.

  • How to measure/set monitor brightness with specific reference

    My prints come out dark; printing advice suggests the i-Mac monitor is quite bright and to set brightness at 120cd; however, the i-Mac brightness function only offers a 1-10 scale with no reference.  What is the equivalent of 120 on in i-Mac, or is there another function that allows me to specifically identify a 120cd setting?

    What is the color profile of the image files that print dark?  If they are Adobe RGB that could be the reason as that profile does muddy up prints to ink jet printers.  Otherwise try calibration the monitor thru the color portion of that preference pane.
    You might look at the printer settings as I have had more success in managing color thru them than adjusting the brightness of the monitor. What printer do you have?  What app are you printing from?

  • How do I set up a specific homepage for Safari on my iPhone?

    How do I set up a specific page to be the page that opens every time I open Safari on my iPhone?  I saw that you go to Preferences, but I can't find where that is?  What are the steps from there?  Thanks.

    It actually is the answer to the question. Safari on the iPhone is not designed to allow for the setting of a home page. The only method to do it is what the last posted told you. That is how iOS handles the setting of a page, other than a bookmark in Safari. If you have a particular page you want to always open to in Safari, use the method described above which sets a shortcut on the home screen that you use instead of the regular Safari icon to start Safari.
    It could be considered a workaround, depending on how you view it.

  • How do I set up a specific playlist for songs so only those sync on A-TV??

    I have a huge number of songs on my Itunes library and I don't want the Apple TV (A-TV) to use so much space for all those songs - I prefer to save it for my video and movies. How can I set up a specific play list on Itunes for A-TV and then when I sync my A-TV - only that playlist goes over.
    Hopefully someone has an idea for me. Hope everyone had a great holiday.

    Dear Winston,
    Thanks so much. It seems much easier after reading it. I did not have those tabs originally which was confusing... Once I clicked the correct preferences, the tabs came up. Now I am resyncing everything which will take time but I see it working.

  • How can I set my Mac to only share SPECIFIC folders with Win7

    It used to work, but, even though I have set only my Public folder and a specific photographs folder to share with a Win7 PC on my home network, the Win7 machine can see the entire Mac HD.
    I followed instructions from here:
    http://www.trickyways.com/2011/07/file-sharing-mac-os-x-lion-and-pc-windows-7/
    But if I type Run then enter the ip address of the Mac, all the folders appear. Is there a way to limit them to only the two specific folders?
    I've mapped the single folder to a drive, so admittedly, unless you go into "Run", you can't see the other Mac folders and drives, but I'd still like to make sure it can't be done.
    Thanks

  • How do I set iCal alerts to a specific time the previous day, regardless of their specific time (so I can get an overview of tomorrow)?

    I think it would be incredibly useful to be able to get at, say, 10pm each evening, a pop up overview of the next day's events. I'm hoping for a tick box somewhere to set my default reminder as a specific time on the previous day, in the same way that you can do '15 minutes before'. Currently you can set reminders for a specific time and date, but, entering this for every item – especially if you want them to coincide – is more than slightly tedious. Furthermore, I input a lot of my Calender events on my iPhone (they sync via iCloud), which has no such functionality, rendering this essentially defunct.
    Any ideas?

  • How can I set a specific user log on neme to a specific machine

    Greeting,
    I have a question :
    How can I set a specific user log on name to a specific machine.
    e.g.
    Only User.A can log on to PC.A and the other can not.
    Base On :
    Windows Server 2003
    Active Directory Version : 5.2.3790.1812

    Technically we're both right.  This depends on what scenario you're setting this up.
    1)  If you want to say only this person can log on to this machine, and it's not an enterprise solution (meaning you have a handful of computers you want restricted, not all computers) then do something like Yan Li has recommended.  However, I
    do not recommend using any DENY LOCAL LOGON user rights.  In this case, you would have to deny everyone except 'User A' and your Administrators.  If you put a user in ALLOW LOCAL LOGON and DENY LOCAL LOGON, then DENY wins and no one logs in.  Instead,
    you should remove all the settings from ALLOW LOCAL LOGON and add only User A and administrators.
    2) If this is an enterprise solution, use the LOG ON TO option I mentioned before.  Managing user right assignments per machine is very difficult and isn't a practical way to do it on a large scale.  If every user in your domain is assigned a computer
    that they can use, only that user can use that machine and that machine will effectively only allow that user.  For this to work, EVERY user must be restricted to a workstation, if no setting is present, then that user can log on anywhere.  This
    is my preferred solution still.
    Like I said, it depends on your situation to which route is better.  I hope this helps and is clear and easy to understand.

  • How do I set a Phase Listener to only run for a specific page?

    How do I set a Phase Listener to only run for a specific page?
    I understand that a Phase Listener runs for ever page in the application, however I want a phase listener to only run for one page at the beginning of the application.
    I discovered I can't use a Filter, because the JSF Application instance always returns null.
    Thus, I thought a Phase Listener would be a good approach.
    Thoughts?

  • How do you set the font color for a specific entire row inside a JTable?

    How do you set the font color for a specific entire row inside a JTable?
    I want to change the font color for only a couple of rows inside a JTable.
    I've seen some ways to possibly do this with an individual cell.
    Clarification on changing the font color in an individual cell would be helpful too if
    there is no easy way to do this for a row.

    hai,
    Try out with this piece of code.Create your table and assign the renderer to each column in the table.
    CellColorRenderer m_CellColorRenderer = new CellColorRenderer();
    for(int i=0;i<your_JTable.getColumnCount();i++)
    your_JTable.getColumnModel().getColumn(i).setCellRenderer(m_CellColorRenderer);
    class CellColorRenderer extends JLabel implements TableCellRenderer
    CellColorRenderer()
    setOpaque(true);
    setHorizontalAlignment(LEFT);
    setVerticalAlignment(CENTER);
    setBackground(Color.white);
    setForeground(Color.black);
    protected void setValue(Object value)
         setText((value == null) ? "" : value.toString());
    public Component getTableCellRendererComponent(JTable table,Object value,boolean isSelected, boolean hasFocus, int row,int column)
         if(isSelected == true)
              setForeground(Color.red);
         else
              setForeground(Color.black);
         setValue(value);
         return this;
