How do I shorten one region and take up slack keeping later regions intact and in synch in short story spoken word reading
I import one track which is one region and it is a little more than one hour long. It is the import from the master, It is a spoken word short story and the reader makes a a few flubs/miscues in reading. He repeats to redo text where he makes reading mistakes. So, I have a story in one track-spoken word. Now, I edit out mistakes and finish the first draft.
There are now 100 regions in the track. I go back to fine tune the edit and recheck for reading mistakes and editing mistakes. In region 10 I realize I must cut a portion out because of an extraneous word mishap. This spilt makes region 10 shorter. Now I must move ALL regions, 11-100, up to take up the unwanted gap. How do I get all, 11-100 regions to move up and keep the story intact, in synch?
Then, in region 20 I realize I must lengthen it, part of a sentence is cut off. I re-import the original to a new track and find the sentence I need and spilt the track so I can replace the faulty region 20 with the new and longer region 20. Now, region 21-100 need to move downstream to make room for the longer replacement region.
How do I get 21-100 to move as one unit, downstream so I can add 20 and keep everything in sync?
I do not think, or at least hope, I have to select each 21-100 regions individually.

the most obvious way is to zoom out and drag select them all.
a less obvious way would be select all the regions (click in the track header) and choose the Join menuItem to create one large region out of all the peices, then you're moving only a sngle region after your edit point

just grab the bottom right corner of the region and drag to the right to bring back the missing section

Try setting the text direction with no files open. It should stick for all new files.

How can I use One Plugin with all his outputs on the region

In Cubase I have a PlugIn Manager and when I have a Plugin like Omnisphere with 8 outputs I can route each output on one sequencer region.
Can I do This as same in Logic?
Exemple
I will open a new Midi Instrument on a region. Than I Know I have 8 outputs and than I will have 8 Lines and each line I will create Midi comandos for each output separatly.
can I do this? Or any Idee how can I do this?

MarcoWhen you load a plug-in that's capable of multi-output, you do have a menu choice about that when you load it, yeah ?
You can create the additional channels that you need in the mixer - press the '+' button on the channel strip and it does it for you. -
How can I capture and take screenshots of all the browser tabs and not only windows ?
This class identifies all minimized windows and take a snapshot (screenshot) of them. I want to take screenshots also of all the broswer for example chrome tabs windows that are open but not in the front. Same idea that it get now the minimized windows but
to get the screenshots of the broswer opened tabs ! What should I change in the WindowSnap class? Since both classes are a bit long I added them to pastebin.com
What i'm doing now is to get all the minimized windows i mean all the the windows in the back if it's chrome browser windows or open tabs if it's program games other windows. This is what i'm doing in form1 constructor:

The problem is in form1 constructor i'm getting only 23-24 windows in the listBox1. When i'm doing this two lines:

I see in numitems about 30 windows and after filtering i'm getting 20 windows and i checked that's the correct number of opened minmizied windows i have in this example 20.
Now what i want to do is somehow to get with all this windows in the listBox also all the opened tabs in chrome.
For exmaple i have only 4 opened chrome windows. But in one of the chrome windows i have almost 40 tabs opened !
I want somehow to add to the listBox all this opened tabs also as captured screenshots like i'm doing now with the windows.

So now i have 19 windows captured in the next refresh it will show 20.

How Many devices can I sync with my iPhone? I own a Mac PRO and an iMAC. Depends on where I am, I will plug my iPhone to either of the machines. I haven't sync with either machine yet.

There's not much to explain. When a device is connected, you see the row of different categories across the top: Summary, Info, Apps, Tones, Music, Movies, TV Shows, Podcasts, Books, and Photos. For example, it is perfectly safe to sync one iOS device to the Music category on Computer A and no other computer, and the same device to Photos on Computer B and no other computer.
You might be confusing what I'm saying with one iOS device enabling sync to the Music library on multiple computers. That is a huge no-no and will result in the disaster being suggested. It turns out that exclusivity at the category level, not the computer level, is what really matters.

The instant a given category is enabled for syncing on more than on computer, that is where the trouble starts.

I will agree that it is something you should only do mindfully. But if you do make sure each category is syncing to only one device, there will be no data loss and no mess. -

If you just want to redeem the card then you shouldn't need to scan it in nor contact Support : redeeming a card.
If you are having a problem with the code and need to contact Support about it then if you have a computer or a mobile phone with a camera on it then you can take a picture with that - or you can use a digial camera and import it to your computer so that you can attach it.

Sorry first post in this forum. I can log on to Yahoo email, read a few emails and then the infamous multi-colored spinning wheel appears and I end up having to shut down and cycle back in again. First I did the update under general like I do every couple months. My phone came up with a screen, at the end of the update, that had a picture of the itunes icon and a picture of the iphone cord like I was supposed to connect to itunes. I did and itunes said that my phone needed to be "restored" to be reusable again, and the only option it gave me was to click the restore button. So I did and it went through a 30 minute restore session. Now my phone just shows the black screen with the apple icon and restarts over and over again. Clicking the buttons does nothing. It has been doing this for hours now. What do I do?
The screen is telling you to connect the iPod to your computer and restore via iTunes.

Have iPod touch and I get a blue screen whenever I unlock it & I have to keep turning it off and on to get the slide to unlock to appear.
Reset the Device:
Hold the power button and the home button down until the device shuts off, then power it back on and see if the problem is resolved.
That won't remove any data. I hope that works.

We recently purchased a new iMac for our office (8 GB memory, 2.7 processor, version 10.9.2) and we need to copy the iPhoto library from our other iMac (version 10.9.4) onto the new one. The photos are essential for our work and there are around 53,000 of them all organised into folders and subfolders and then the photos are manually ordered within the albums.
We have tried connecting the computers but when we tried to access the iPhoto library on the new iMac it says that iPhoto is locked and we do not have permission to view it. We updated iPhoto on the old iMac as we thought that might be the problem but the message still appears. We've been advised to use an external hard drive but we're worried that will corrupt the organisation of the library. We have also been told not to do it over AirDrop / the Server because of the sheer quantity of photos.
Any advice on how to safely do this would be much appreciated.No idea exactly what you did

Simply copy the iPhoto Library from the Pictures Folder on the old Machine to the Pictures Folder on the new Machine.
Then launch iPhoto. That's it.
This moves photos, events, albums, books, keywords, slideshows and everything else.

If you do something differently - like import the library instead of simply opening it - then it will not work
did you dimply drag the iPhoto library from the pictures folder of the old machine to the pictures folder of the new machine and then launch iPhoto on the new machine?
and to help it is important to use word correctly since that is the only communications method we have - in iPhoto folders do not contain photos - you view photos in events and you can organize them using albums (which view photos) and folders (which hold either albums or other folders - folders never have photos in them) so your description of the problem is not at all clear since it uses folders incorretly
