How do I ssl enable targets and EM in 10.1.2 in
"Standalone console" (is this the correct forum?)
These are the steps I followed
1) emctl secure em
This enabled ssl for EM.
Problem is with monitoring a target - Oracle Reports
2) The I SSL Enabled reports. Added a port in webcache and gave default wallet directory. Following works
https://host:port/reports/rwservlet?getserverinfo
3) In sysman/emd/targets.xml , for reports target I changed http protocol to https and also changed port
(Report uses HTTP Fetchlet for getting metrics)
But I am not able to monitor Oracle Reports successfully.
I get the following in EM logs

Any idea how to do SSL enable targets (in particular Oracle Reports) in 10.1.2 ?

Open and close iPhoto or GarageBand and relaunch FCP X. Sometimes just relaunching FCP X works also. You can trash FCP X preferences as well if the above doesn't work.

The networksetup utility is the program OS X uses to change the network configuration. The Network Preference Pane in system preferences is just a front end to networksetup; networksetup can do everything the preference pane can do (and possibly more).
The parameters you are interested in (from the man page):
-getwebproxy networkservice
Displays Web proxy (server, port, enabled value) info for <networkservice>.
-setwebproxy networkservice domain portnumber authenticated username password
Set Web proxy for <networkservice> with <domain> and <port number>. Turns proxy on. Optionally, specify <on> or <off> for <authenticated> to enable and disable authenticated proxy support. Specify <username> and <password> if you turn authenticated proxy support on.
-setwebproxystate networkservice on | off
Set Web proxy on <networkservice> to either <on> or <off>.
-getsecurewebproxy networkservice

How to boot to emergency.target and have a functional USB keyboard?

I appending systemd.unit=emergency.target to my kernel line in GRUB while booting so I could manually do an e2fsck. I was unable to enter my password; my USB keyboard was not activate. Seems like systemd didn't load a module or something. Thoughts?

SSL enabled directory proxies and F5?

I have two directory proxy 5.2 servers (SSL enabled) and load balanced using F5. The problem is when use LDAP browser to connect to proxy via f5 I couldn't able to establish a connection. But If I connect directly to the DPS I get a cert acknowledgement and on accepting it I could able to query directory server. Should I need to have certs installed in F5's too? Or how is this handled in real world? Even If I install a cert on f5 wouldn't the client get 2 certs to accept? Any thoughts would be of great help?

I had a full bar of power this morning that was charged over night and with Active Sync enabled for my Calendar and Contacts, I am now at 10% battery life.

Now I don't use SSL, but all that does is force communications over a different port - I seriously doubt that usage of data differs weather or not SSL is used or not.              The control would be something like this for navigation in Get_p_xxx method u mention as link and u mention a event name which gets triggered on the click of this hyperlink. So your GET_P_XXX method would have the following code:
CASE iv_property.
    WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_fieldtype.
      rv_value = cl_bsp_dlc_view_descriptor=>field_type_event_link.
    WHEN if_bsp_wd_model_setter_getter=>fp_onclick.
      rv_value = 'EXAMPLE'.
Now you have to create a method as EH_ONEXAMPLE at your IMPL class and within which you would give an outbound plug method. Within the outbound plug the target data would be filled in the collection and window outbound plug would be triggered.
This is a huge topic and i have just mentioned you basic things.

You can modify the installation package using the Adobe Customization Wizard to toggle the "Display PDF in Browser" but I have not found a setting to disable JavaScript from the Wizard. I have created a script which makes the changes, but it has to be run for every user since that info is stored in the User hive of the Windows registry.
Disable JavaScript:

Disable Browser Integration:

HHow did you export? Did you use H.264? Hour and a half is going to be a big file. For your customers sake you might consider breaking it down into segments.

SSL Enabling Shared Services and Active Directory

The SSL config guidfe suggests that a valid certificate (CA) must be issue for User directories (MSAD/LDAP), Web and application servers. Is it essential to obtain a CA for for MSAD as well? Can we do without MSAD cert? We have the certs for our Web and App layers ready. We are not sure if the IT department has SSL configured MSAD. If MSAD/LDAP is not SSL configured - can we still go about SSL-Enabling Hyperion? Thanks.

If your MSAD is set for SSL, you can import their certificates through your Java Application Server. Since you are unsure, I would set up MSAD and if you are able to browse for users on the AD domain in Shared Services, you are good to go.
I must say that SSL is a big pain from my point of view. Unless you are required to encrypt because of the data you have stored, I would pass it up. The certificates often expire on a yearly basis and there are many different certificates to keep track of. Multiply that by Development, Prod, BCP or Recovery server, and you're looking at lots of maintenance.
The big pain comes when the signer certificate for your server expires because after the next reboot or restart of your JVMs, Shared Services starts up but none of the other applications can talk to it which means your whole application is down until you get that certificate fixed. My organization is fairly strict on their controls, so that means that I either make a federal case out of my system being down or I get to wait three days for a change request. Big pain in the rear.

I just updated to the new operating system which i'm starting to think was a bad idea, because it reset all my settings and I don't know how to fix them.

so when I go to safari>preferences>security>uncheck box labled enable java script links on webpages don't work and pictures and links son't want to appear on websites. this made it so webpages don't want to work past loading the content in text format. I agree cwclark, I was going to ask the exact same thing, and yes, the only way to 'restart' the auto play is to reload the page which is frustrating to say the least. Every other site I've seen with this kind of 'auto-play' slide show still auto-plays even after clicking the 'next' or 'previous' buttons. Adobe, you need to get a fix for this ASAP

In SharePoint (SharePoint Designer) 2010, to use a custom list in different sites, we used the resource to export the to site gallery. So the list became a list web part where I could use all the available resource list created on the
same site (examples: list settings, crud, views ...)
We need to provide the same functionality in 2013 programmatically for the user. We try ListViewWebPart class to use, but the resources of crud on the list were not available.
I Would like to how do I enable crud and other properties in ListViewWebPart or if there is another class that does it.
