How do I tell my shape object what shape it is

Hi - I'm pretty new to all this
I'm trying to create an applet on which a number of different (non standard) shapes will be displayed. I want to be able to move these shapes around the applet. I know that I need to add a mouselistener to my shape object but how do I tell my shape object what area belongs to it.
Previously I have given my shape object a draw method so the shape is displayed but the object has no knowledge of exactly what area it is made up of, does it?

You have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

How can I tell if an Object Input Stream has more objects to read?

I have a utility that I'm working on where objects are sent via the network as a complete file. I read the objects, update some, and send them back. I never know how many objects are in the file. I cache the file locally prior to performing this operation. It runs in a chron job.
Currently I am reading until I get an EOF exception. Is there a better way? I've tried available() but it is always returning me zero.

Hope this helpsThis doesn't help at all. It refers to what happens while you are reading a single object, not to what happens when you try to read a new object. You will not get this exception between objects.
If as I suspect you are reading from a socket you really have no choice but to try the read, maybe with a timeout. EOF is the only condition that can reliably indicate that there are no more objects in this stream.

Easiest way is to open the clip using QuickTime Player. Then click Command-I to open the inspector.

How to make shape objects clickable/selectable in transformgroups in java 3

I am building a visualizer program that has Java 3D components inside Swing components. I have a branchgroup inside a canvas3d inside a simpleuniverse, which is added to a JTabbedPane. Inside the branchgroup I have multiple transformgroups each with one shape in them (box, cone, sphere, cylinder). Each transformgroup has the ability to rotate, zoom, and tranlate objects because I have incorperated a MouseZoom, MouseRotate, and MouseTranslate object as from the Java 3D library functions (these are applied to each transformgroup every time one is created and added to the branchgroup). My problem is that I am trying to make these shapes clickable/sectable/dragable/dropable on the screen - currently when I try to translate ONE object all the shapes move on the screen and I cannot get just one shape to move (all shapes move when I only want one to). How do I make only one shape move when it is clicked?
I know the question is kind of out there and specific so if anyone knows how to generically give transformgroups/shapes drag and drop properties that would also help a great deal. Does anyone know how to to this? Thanks a ton.

shape uses the contains and intersects methods, is that what you need? Without code it is hard to guess what is required.

TES 6.1.x - how do you tell what DB is used by ClientMgr?

We just externalized the Client Mgr DB to Oracle, updated config files, etc. How do you tell what db is using - Derby or Oracle?

After you externalize the CM database, you should see the db objects (tables and views) in the database are now created shortly after you start the CM service.
You can verify creation of database objects in the actual database and in the plugin log upon start-up. This log can be found under the ../ClientManager/plugin/tes-6.0/log directory

What version of Oracle are you running (standard or enterprise)?
Easist system is to run an AWR or statspack report. If you run either of these you will see sections on segments (so segments by logical reads, physical reads) which is easily digestible.
v$segment_statistics will also give you a breakdown on segment access.

Look in the "patches" folder under "<Program Files>\Business Objects\Crystal Reports 11". It will give you a folder listing for each service pack, monthly hotfix, and critical hotfix you have installed. If you are using Crystal Reports XI R2 you will want to look in your Add/Remove Programs instead.

I have applied several different release levels to version 6 of FF but all the about feature tells me is Version 6.0. no version! This seems to be a change in the way updates are handled. Is that a bending because of the speed of which you're pushing out updates and new releases?

Nope, I never used Chrome, but I did try Chromium on my Windows desktop PC for a few months last year. I got tired of the Google updater. exe running all the time and Google's method of doing updates, so it's gone. I do have Chromium on my Linux EeePC since last summer, but Ubuntu handles all updates and gives the user the capability to accept or deny, any or all updates - much more to my liking, similar to the way Mozilla does it. I don't like software developers forcing to update until I am ready to proceed.
There's a lot more about this new Fast Release system, than just the lack of visible version numbers, that I don't like. The Nightly, Aurora, Beta, & Release sequence is dumb with the way it changes the version numbers. I prefer installing (for instance) what will become version 7 and have that installation progress thru the 4 stages, instead. Now it's like Nightly going from 7 to 8, Aurora going from 6 to 7, and Beta doing - hell, I won't know if it becomes a Release or if it just dies and I will have to install the Release version myself. ''Quite honestly I don't care, because I don't think this new "system" is going to last too long without major modifications. I also dislike the UI changes in 4/5/6/7 enough that I am still using Firefox 3.6 for almost everything and Firefox 2.0.0.20 for the rest. User's (me) tech background:
Fairly technical user here, but getting pretty rusty. In a past life (late '90s) I was a network administrator as well as server admins for NT 4, Novell (up to 4.11), AIX, and HP-UX servers. Used to be really good at a command prompt ($ or #) in AIX and HP-UX as well as MS DOS. I do have ROOT enabled on my Macs and I am not afraid to use it. However, I know how severe the consequences can be (trashed a customer's AIX server once using a -R switch in the root directory), so I am extremely cautious and must be confident of the instruction. Can probably fix most anything with some guidance........
Here is the problem........ I have recently developed an error on boot, say within the last couple of weeks, where it tells me that some Vista application won't run because VM Ware will not initialize. The problem is VM Ware is not loaded on this computer (15" MBP model 8.2, i7 processor, 16MB of RAM, OS 10.7.4........ bought as a "refurb", never had a problem, have used this workstation for several months now). Boot Camp is not configured on this machine either. Nothing is in the Dock that would knowingly trigger this. When I go into System Information, I find nothing set as a "Startup Item" (screen shot attached) , making me think that I am looking in the wrong place. Where should I be looking?
Interesting enough, when I go to System Information, and look under "Applications", I do see a lot of Vista items, including apps from an older MBP that I do not connect to (on same network, they have "rights" to connect, I just never do as there is nothing on there I need). I have attached a screen shot of this as well.
Please, someone, can you give me some advice here?

Managing your data usage is very important Bag02231958. I would like to thank ttipgem for the great suggestion to see what is using data on your phone. However, when you access the internet, social media apps, stream data, videos, music, etc. that uses data on your phone. Unfortunately, we do not have a list of what specifically is being accessed on the device to incur data. There are no viruses currently affecting the Mac but there is something called Flashback which is malware that has been doing the rounds and affected many Mac users. Apple have released some updates to Java that should remove it and improve protection. Run Software Update to see if there is anything for downloading.
A few precautions that can help prevent your Mac becoming infected:
If you use Flash only download it directly from Adobe.
In all web browsers disable Java (but do leave Javascript on as that's something else).
In all web browsers make sure downloaded files aren't set to automatically open after downloading.
Consider disabling Java completely (launch Java Preferences in the Utilities folder and disable it - you'll likely rarely, if ever need it. If you do just turn it on and off again when your done).

How do you tell what display type is in your macbook

I need a new LVDS cable for my Santa Rosa Macbook because the image cuts in and out depending on how much the lid is opened; the stores indicate two options depending on which LCD is in my macbook.
My question is: How do I tell who made the LCD in my macbook?
My options may include samsung, LG Philips, Chi Mei and AUO. My system profiler doesn't state what I have in any detail.
I have the L1181 2.2ghz 13" macbook from late 2007 or early 2008.

Basically you have to remove the display panel from the housing and find out. However, it really shouldn't matter. Apple would have required each company to make their displays conform to their spec so that they only need one cable for each display.

How can I tell what the iTunes build is before I download?

I am having difficulty finding out what the iTunes build is for the current download from the Apple site. I am running iTunes 7.6 (29); I assume the "29" is the build for my installed version. I also assume that Software Update will ignore build changes unless the version changes.
I do not want to download and install the current iTunes build unless it is different from my currently installled app. How can you tell what the specific version and build are from the Apple download site?
