How do I trim a distinquished name?

Hi,
For my siteObject output, I don't want the full DN, but just the value of the first CN in my output.
I issue the following which produces a sorted list of subnets and associated sites, however the sites are the full DN whereas I just want the value of the CN. Any suggestions on how to do this?
Get-Adobject -Filter 'Objectclass -eq "Subnet"' -Properties siteObject -Searchbase...... | Sort Name | FT Name,SiteObject -auto
This produces:
Name                  SiteObject
10.10.10.10/24   CN=MySite,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=FlyByNite,DC=Com
I'd like the following:
Name                  SiteObject
10.10.10.10/24   MySite

Split by comma and equals and grab the second element:
$siteObject = "CN=MySite,CN=Sites,CN=Configuration,DC=FlyByNite,DC=Com"
$siteObject.Split(',=')[1]

Get site as a calculated property like this:

You don't. You create a collection. A client connects to the Connection Broker and then is redirected to the collection it is connecting to. The collection name is embedded in the connection file that the client downloads from RDWeb or
the RDWeb feed.
A collection is basically at least one RDSH server (for session based desktops) or one virtual machine (virtual machine based desktops).

Sometimes we need to download the table for the desired information if the same is not available from a particular report. How to look for the table name? Is there a report or a particular feild, where we can find the name of the particular table?

Hi Friend,
If you want to see the structures then go to SE11. Sometimes it happens that you cannot find the table names but only fields. In such case, if you want to find the Table names which is not available, then go to SE90.
Abap Dictionary > Fields > Table Fields.
Now Enter the Field name in Right Hand Side of the screen then Execute. You will see the all tables by which that Fields are used.

How to get selection screen variant name of a report ?

Can any body please suggest, how I can get the variant name that was selected when a report program was being scheduled in background?
I am using system field SY-SLSET but it is working only at foregrounf execution.In background mode it holds different value like '&0000000000038'.

When running the program in foreground (SE38 -> F8) or in a background job (SM36), sy-slrel is correctly filled.
When running in background via SE38 transaction (run in background : F9), sy-slrel is not filled correctly (&000010 for example).

Does obj.firstChild.toString() evaluate to a "name=value" type of String ?
Or better what does obj.firstChild.toString(),'sw' evaluate to ? It has to end up in a name=value format, else its just gibberish appended to the url.
In the jsp, you have to obviously know the name to get the parameter. There's a getParameterNames() method which returns you a Collection of parameter names as Strings, you could probably use that to retrieve the param values.
Then there's a getParameterMap() method which returns an immutable Map containing parameter names as keys and parameter values as map values. The keys in the parameter map are of type String. The values in the parameter map are of type String array.
However to what ends you employ them in a program which doesnt know its inputs is a different story.

How can I assign image file name from Main() class

I am trying to create library class which will be accessed and used by different applications (with different image files to be assigned). So, what image file to call should be determined by and in the Main class.
Here is the Main class

I do understand that when I am making reference from main() method to MyJNIWindowClass() s first initialized to null and that is why clock could not be seen but how can I assign image file name from Main() class for library class without creating reference to Main() from MyJNIWindowClass()? As I said, I want this library class being accessed from different applications (means different Main() classes).

Your problem is one of timing. Consider this simple example.

How can I organize data by name in a drop down menu?

I created a spread sheet with several drop down menus. The problem I am having is how to organize my data by name. Every new entry is at the bottom of the drop down and can't be moved to a different location. This gets very confusing as I add more names to the drop down cell. In this case my entries consist of Chemical names that make it very hard to recognize or to locate once I open the drop down menu. Any suggestions?

I don't think you can. You might ensure that their creation dates are in order, but I'm not so such that will help. Ordering seems to be a feature limited to use with iPhoto/Aperture.

To change your iCloud ID, go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with the new ID. This deletes the account and your iCloud data from your device, but not from iCloud. It seems like I have two accounts now and can buy apps and various things through both accounts depending on which one comes up. One is Pre-MobileMe and the other is a mobile me account and now heading twards iCloud.... so How do I trim them down and in the long run... access the music purchased through the first account and transfer it into the most recent iteration of my world here at Apple? thanks

Assuming you haven't already set up a user, the easiest way is to use the Setup Assistant during first boot of the new Mac, with the two Macs connected by firewire.
You'll be prompted to migrate from a choice of sources - choose "from another Mac", select the catagories of data you want to transfer and follow the instructions.

Suppose that several VIs running simultaneously on the same computer. How can I find out the names of the running VIs, from another VI?
If the already running VIs are clones of the same basic VI, open and run with the option "Prepare to call and forget", how can I find out the names and index of each clone?

I had an application where I spawned (= ran with Start Asynchronous Call) multiple (reentrant) copies of VIs, and would occasionally "lose control" of them. I needed a way to find all VIs that were running "Top Level" and stop them (so I didn't have to log off from Windows).
I used the Application Property "All VIs in Memory" to get an array of (wait for it ...) All VIs in Memory. I took each name, opened a VI reference to it (simply wire the name string in, as the VI is, by definition, "in memory"), looked at its VI Execution State, and if it was Run Top Level, Invoked the FP.Close and Abort VI Methods. [To prevent the VI that did all this from "committing Suicide", I compared the name string with the current Call Chain, and did nothing if there was a match].
I think you could adopt this idea to do what you need.

How Can i specify multiple server names in rwservlet.properties file without clustering?
I am using oracle 10g Application server. we have 3 servers Repsvr1, RepSvr2 and RepSvr3. Now i need to configure rwservlet.properties file to point to these servers based on any running report. i got 3 keymap files with reports info.
Sample entry in the key map file is:
key1: server=Repsvr1 userid=xxx/yyy@dbname report=D:\Web\path1\path2\reports\Report1.rdf destype=cache desformat=PDF %*
key2: server=Repsvr2 userid=xxx/yyy@dbname report=D:\Web\path1\path3\reports\Report2.rdf destype=cache desformat=PDF %*
rwservlet.properties file letting me to enter only one servername. Even though i merged all 3 keymap files into 1, still i have the server name issue. If i leave the server to the default name still i am getting the below error.
REP-51002: Bind to Reports Server Repsvr1 failed. However, i know the default rep_<servername> would be used incase we dont have SERVER=<value> parameter in the rwservlet.properties file.
If i specify the servername in the rwservlet.properties file then only Repsvr1 reports are working fine and other 2 server reports are giving the same error like
REP-51002: Bind to Reports Server <<Server Name>> failed.
how can i configure the info which will work all 3 reports. 2 Port servers are invoking using oracle forms and report server is invoking using ASP pages.

Only Servername Repsvr1 is in rwservlet.properties file. Now what is the best option to by pass the server from rwservlet.properties file and should be from keymap file. if i comment server name in rwservlet.properties file still i am getting REP-51002: Bind to Reports Server <<Server Name>> failed error for both keys.

Is there any more permanent way of getting rid of this annoying privacy intrusive "feature"? I would like to have a profile with a username that is not going to appear at airports and my grandma's laptop after I log out of skype and no I do not want to go digging for app files to remove my entire history on each and every machine I use as suggested by your help files. Could you please advise if I'm missing something here?
