How do I use the z parameter instead of component's stack order for layout?

Hi,
In my current project I am already using the cool new 3D properties (z/rotationX/rotationY/rotationZ) of the Flex 4 SDK. It really makes fun playing
around with them, but it is actually pretty annoying that elements that ought to be postioned on top of each other with different z-values are displayed according to their stack order (the positon with respect to to their DisplayObject-siblings). This leads to the non-realistic appearance of objects that should be positioned in the back of the scene right on top of everything else.
The only solution for this problem is to manually set the z-order in which I want the objects to appear on the screen by using the removeChild()/addChild() methods of the parent-container. This is not only annoying but quite expensive and additionally non-dynamic.
Is there any means to make a container use its children's position in space for layout instead of its "z-stack"? If not, I would consider this as a bug, at least when it comes to 3D placement of objects.

If you are running the broker as a Window's service then
jmqsvcadmin install -jrehome (or -javahome) is the correct
way to specify an alternate JRE. If you are running the broker
directly on the command line then you can use -jrehome directly
with the jmqbroker command.

There is a slight performance gain during session load at startup but there is no difference at runtime. The choice of which to use is dependent upon you build process. Whether it is easier to submit a new version of the class into the comile build process vs an XML file. In most cases it is just a preference of the development team.
When you use the project-class you'll need to generate the source code and compile it into your system. Typically it is packaged with the persistent classes. You may need to configure your environment so that the class-loaders have access to these classes (same for the XML case).
When using the project-class you simply replace the project-xml entry like this:
<project-class>oracle.toplink.demos.employee.relational.EmployeeProject</project-class>

I figured out that if you remove the ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.symbolichotkeys.plist file and restart, that restores the keyboard.
Second question: Is there any way to make F4 (without holding fn) bring up Dashboard on Lion that doesn't require FunctionFlip? If it matters, I have a Time Machine backup of the symbolichotkeys.plist file from when I had the older keyboard.

How Do I Use the TCallback parameter in ibnotify for Delphi in dpib32.pas?

I'm having some troubles. I've been using the dpib32.pas library for at least 2 years now with no troubles. Now I need to handle some oddball stuff using Async Callbacks. I've referred to App Note 100 and am 98% there... I just can't figure out how to properly use the TCallback function in ibnotify. Any clues?
First thought was to add a function matching the TCallBack function...

then use it as a the parameter in ibnotify...

..just open ManageVariables (right click on the a page and select Manage Variables)...
then you select the parameter on the page where you want to insert your previous value (your variable)...use the dropdown list to select the variable that contains your value...and it should work

How do I use the UHRY_ACTIVE_ROWS parameter?

We want to create a button to display the rows as a hierarchy (as available in query properties). To do this I realise I need to use the UHRY_ACTIVE_ROWS parameter in the template properties so to change the properties dynamically (as we require this functionality in a button) we started with the javascript command

2) Set UHRY_ACTIVE_ROWS in another method?

We have a fillable PDF where the users enter numbers into fields. They want to be able to use the <enter> key on the 10-key pad instead of the <tab> key on the keyboard to move the focus to the next data entry field.
How can I set my PDF so that it recognizes the <enter> key instead of the <tab> key for changing focus?

You can use a custom Keystroke script, something like:

How can I use the "gcc compiler and emacs editor" in Solaris 8 for Intel?

I installed Solaris 8 for Intel to my desktop computer.
After the installation, I found I couldn't use the companion software (the software CD included in the Multilinugal Media Kit for Solaris 8) - especially the emacs editor and gcc compilers.
I certainly installed the companion software to my computer. And I can identify that those softwares are
really installed to my system. In order to check out whether I installed them or not, I went to the "System Administrator" and opened the "Solaris Product Registry", in which I identified that all the files in
the companion software were succesfully installed in my computer.
However, when I open terminal or console box and tries to use those
software, the system responds that "there is no emacs or gcc."
Why I cannot use those things?
Did I install the companion software wrong?
I really don't understand why I can't use them.
For your reference, I saw the directories "/usr/bin" and "usr/ccs/bin"
too.
In /usr/bin I typed
#as
and no such command.
In /usr/ccs/bin
#as
and also no such command
was what I had as a response.
If I installed the companion software CD correctly and if they are installed somewhere in my computer,
where I can find them and how I can use those softwares?
Lastly, whenever I try to connect to my ISP via telnet mode, I see this
message.

Closed by foreign hosts."

gcc and emacs install in /opt/sfw. You should change your path statement to include /opt/sfw/bin and should obtain the FAQ from sunfreeware.com. The FAQ answers all your questions.

Moving a PageItem using the "by" parameter (JavaScript)

So I want to move some page items. I went through the Reference and found that PageItems have the method "move"
That method wants either to (The new location of the PageItem,in the format (x, y). Can accept: Array of 2 Units, Spread, Page or Layer. (Optional)) or by (The amount (in measurement units) to move the PageItem relative to its current position, in the format (x, y). (Optional))
So I want to use the by parameter because moves based on the PageItem's current position.
This is what I've been trying:
myPage.allPageItems[i].move({by:[0, someVar]});
But when I try to do this, it says "Invalid value for parameter 'to' of method 'move'..."
How can I use the by parameter instead of to?

I am using Crystal Reports 11.
I create 1 main report with 10 sub-reports that contain cross-tabs & charts. The main report has a parameter regarding 3 different areas: region1, region2, and region3.
I use the method of adding the u2018regionu2019 parameter of main report to the selection formula of the sub-reports. So, I can select 'region' from main report to controll outputs in sub-reports by region.
I use formulas for chart titles, e.g.:

I am using a formula for chart titles, e.g.:

For example,

I love this forum because everyone is a great helpful person.. .. However, I'd like to ask you couple things about the MacBook battery...
I know that now the battery has been improved, it leasts longer and it can support 1000 charging cycles.
(Right now I'm performing the battery calibration)
I'd like to know how can I use the battery and let it be perfectly healthy.
For instance,
1) If I connect the laptop to the MagSafe and let it charge, when should I remove the plug from the Mac and when should I put it in charge? I don't wanna continously waste cycles and let my battery die too soon (it's too young to die! :-D ) .. I use it mainly at home connected to the MagSafe: someone tell that even if you leave the MagSafe connected after the mac has been charged it stops charging (I can see this), and others say that is not a good thing to let the mac connected to the plug for a long time... with the old model I used to disconnect the battery from the mac so I didn't have these problems but with the new one it's a long procedure...
2) I usually use to calibrate the battery once a month... Is it a good thing?

I'm not quite sure what you are trying to do.
What works: Connect the outgroup of a pre- or post-mapping process operator to the mapping output parameter operator..
What does not work: Connect the outgroup of an operator that can return more than one row (e.g. table operator, filter, joiner ,...) to the mapping output parameter operator. The mapping output parameter just returns "one row", like a pl/sql function call.
You cannot pass a "data stream" from one mapping to another. Maybe the pluggable mappings is what you are looking for.

BDAqua saved me a lot of typing. It wasn't clear, though, if you just needed to vent or if you're wanting to address these issues (which will involve a lot of typing).
One of the main ones you need to do before you do any installing or installing of Flash Player is deal with the disk that won't verify. Basically you're working with a computer that doesn't know where all its files are. The computer uses a directory to keep tack of them and your directory needs repairing. If you don't repair it then you'll just end up losing files, and getting more problems with running the computer. It's a little bit like never changing the oil in the car, or dealing with an oil leak when it happens.
First, if at all possible make a backup of the drive in its present configuration. If something goes wrong during repair attempts and makes things worse you will have a backup. You will have to decide how to work this in the light of any present backups you may have, for example, a backup that may be a few days out of date. In that case you may want to keep that one and make a second backup of this as they are now, though I realize people often don't have a lot of empty drives sitting around.
Boot from the System Installer disc that came with your computer or is the one for the version you currently have on there, select language if applicable, choose utilities, run Disk Utility and verify (and repair if necessary) the drive. You can verify a drive from DU on your main drive while booted but I have found this can result in incorrect reporting of errors. To repair your drive you have to run it from a drive other than the boot drive anyway.
Next, boot from your drive in [Safe Mode|http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=107393] and repair permissions. You can repair permissions while booted from the installer disc but this uses the permissions configuration on the installer disc which may be out of date if you have run any updates on your computer. Booting your computer to Safe Mode restricts the number of things running on your computer while permissions are being run and does a bit of spring cleaning at the same time.
