How do I use/try Encore CS6?

I wanted to use/try Encore CS6... Following the instructions it seemed to suggest that I can access the program through the Creative Cloud. Didn't see anything listed Encore- did some more reading and it seemed to suggest that I could access it through Adobe Premiere Pro. Doing so didn't seem to work (nothing in the menu)- again did more research and now the wording seems to suggest that I have to buy the product/Creative Cloud in order to use/try Encore... very confusing.
Am I missing something?

2 paths... there is no "try" for Encore, only a paid version due to licensing

2 - buy Premiere Pro CS6 as a standalone product... Encore is bundled with PPro

Encore is bundled with Premiere Pro, and is activated when you activate Premiere Pro... if you have PPro CS6 installed but no Encore, you did something wrong

PS3 (Playstation 3) issue not loading BDR Bluray | Adobe Encore CS6

I recently created a Bluray using Adobe Encore CS6, and the Bluray is not loading on my PS3, but is working fine on my other player (LG, Toshiba and PC). Does anyone have the same issue and found a solution? I need help on this as most of my client use their PS3 as Bluray player.
Authoring program: Adobe Encore CS6 with the Creative Cloud latest update
PS3 with latest firmware update (PS+ member with auto-update: on)
Video files: 1920x1080 FPS 23.976 Program Stream MPEG-2 for Bluray *.m2v (transcode with FCP Compressor)
Audio files: Dolby Digital Audio *.ac3
Burner software: CyberLink Power2Go V6
Burner hardware: HP BD Writer bd340i
Media: Verbatim BD-R 25GB 6x Speed
Project size: 20/25GB
The project setting in CS6 is: Blu-ray NTSC with MPEG-2 Codec at 1920x1080 at 23.976FPS
The “Check Project” shows no error. I build (output) as an image, then burn the *.ISO file using CyberLink Power2Go.
The BD-R work fine everywhere (LG & Toshiba player) except on my PS3. The BD-R has the BDMV and CERTIFICATE folder, so I don’t know why my PS3 don’t recognize it. And I have three PS3 at home; 1xPS3 80GB version (3yrs old) and 2xPS3 super slim (1yr old). All three are unable to see the BD-R. My PS3 work fine with all other media (games & movie Bluray); and I highly doubt that all three have trouble with the Bluray player.
I did the same process last time (in 2013) and everything is working fine, all the same configuration, except I used Adobe Encore CS4. My PS3 was able to read and recognize the BD-R. But since CS6, my PS3 don’t see the BD-R. I also put back the copy that I did last year with CS4 (just to make sure that is not a PS3 firmware issue) and the Bluray work fine. The media (Verbatim) come from the same tower (leftover from last year).
So everything point toward CS6…is there something that change from CS4 to CS6 for Bluray creation? Jumping from Encore CS4 to CS6, I don’t see anything different, but look like there is, because the Bluray can no longer be played on my PS3. Please help!

Create an ISO (Encore) or folder on your hard drive (Encore or Premiere Elements) and then use the FREE http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download to write files or folders or ISO to disc for DVD or BluRay (send the author a PayPal donation if you like his program)
Imgburn will read the ACTUAL disc brand from the disc, which is not always the same as the box label (Memorex is notorious for buying "anything" and putting it inside a Memorex box)
When you write to disc with Imgburn, use the SLOWEST possible speed setting, so your burner has the best chance to create "good, well formed" laser burn holes... since no player is required to read a burned disc, having a "good" one from a high quality blank will help

No Video, only Audio when building a DVD in Encore CS6

Hi everyone!
First post here, and I apologize if this has been somewhat covered in other posts, I couldn't seem to find any similar issues in this matter, and I pray someone here can help.
I'm new to DVD authoring, and just started using Adobe Encore CS6 over the summer. I shot a dance recital, and after following some tutorials, made an awesome DVD that was very well received.
However, my last two DVDs have not come out working properly. I imported .m2v files from HC Encoder (DVD Compliant, max 7500kbps for safety) into Adobe Encore CS6, where the .m2v files say "Don't Transcode." They play just fine in the timelines in Encore.
When I build the DVD to either a folder, image, or disc, only audio plays for the video portions of the DVD. The only way to get the video to play is if I run the DVD through VLC. I tested in Windows Media Center (on Windows 8) as well as my PlayStaton 4, and the black picture with audio persists for each video element of the DVD.
Between making the DVD of the dance recital and the DVD today, I have gone through at least two complete system restores, if this is something that could possibly have made things go awry. If it helps to know, I'm running Windows 8.1 Pro.

Oops, sorry!
I imported an *.m2v file along with a *.wav file, both the exact same durations and lined up correctly in the timeline. In the project panel, for the *.m2v it says "Don't Transcode" for Status and "Don't Transcode" for Settings; for the *.wav it says, "Untranscoded" for Status and "Automatic" for settings.
That's all that Encore's telling me about the files.
Side note, interestingly enough, I went back and re-exported the DVD of the Dance Recital that I had mentioned earlier, and it plays just fine. (I'm trying to compare the two projects as best I can) It seems as if the *.m2v file that I made in HCEncoder for the recital plays just fine in Windows Media Player, however my most recent ones do not. But they still play in Encore. Needless to say, I'm baffled.

Encore CS6 included with Premiere CS6?

I had heard that with Premiere CS6 it was not necessary to buy Encore CS6 as a separate product. I now have Premiere CS6, but can find no interface to Encore. Is my rumor true, and if so, how does one access/start Encore CS6?

Thank you Stan. Yes I am in the cloud, and you are absolutely right about having difficulty finding the executables. The App Mgr installed both CS6 Premiere and Encore, but neglected to put icons on the desktop. I searched high and low for them until hitting on the obvious: Program Files->Adobe. Found the Premiere folder and its executable there, but somehow myopically overlooked the Encore folder. It's there too.

How can I get Encore CS6 back after CC Cleaner tool removed it?

I was working on a project on my home computer using CC and now that I'm back at the office, the CS6 and CC stuff doesn't play nice. I was going to upgrade the Creative Cloud but it kept popping up the A12E1 error. So I followed Adobe's 4-step fix which removed all the CS6 products from my system. I'm fine with just having CC, but I need Encore which is not available through CC. How can I get it back? Please don't suggest I use another DVD program. I prefer to stay in the Adobe family for the dynamic linking, among other reasons.

You can download all CS6 programs by manually selecting a different version from the CC web page. Encore is bundled with Premiere CS6. Alternatively you can try this:

Can I use Premiere Elements templates for Encore CS6

LIke the title says.... can I use menu templates from Premiere Elements for Encore CS6? If so, does it matter what version of PRE?
I've seen some templates on the web (e.g. muvipix) but don't know if I could use them in Encore.
I saw somebody asked a similar question for CS4, didn't know what, if anything, had changed...
ETA: Just FYI, I downloaded the Encore CS6 Functional Content and installed it, but honestly I'm not sure if it added any templates or what.... :)

Also, I have to say, for stuff on that's so valuable, Adobe has made the page very hard to find and made the instructions as clear as mud.
First, I'm still not clear on what the difference is between "Functional Content" and "Resource Central Library Content".
Second, as far as I can tell, I never had the problem being addressed by the page (i.e. "When you access the Library panel in Adobe Encore, the panel contains no content."). My library panel always had content, just not a lot of it.
My problem would more accurately be described as "When you access the Library panel in Adobe Encore, the panel contains surprisingly little content.". So the mother lode of content I was looking for was buried as an "Additional Solution" for a problem I didn't have.
And lastly, the Functional Content is some oddly double-zipped self-extracting affair, and the "Resource Central Content is a more straight-forward compressed file, but unlike the Functional Content, it's a .7z file so you have to download a 7-zip compatible decompression tool.
It's awesome that Adobe has that content, so I hate to complain, but it's not so awesome how hard it is find and install.

Encore cs6 crashes on my macbook pro when trying to use timeline

I have recently downloaded encore for my macbook pro and has been working fine apart from everytime I try to use timeline, either way I try to open it, it crashes. It also crashes when I try to preview the DVD.
Is this the software or my mac? All my other adobe apps work fine and never crash.

How to Import Chapter Names Created in Premiere Pro CS6 to Encore CS6?

I edited a sequence in Prmiere Pro CS6 and then I created and named all my Encore Chapter Markers while still in Ppro. I then opened Encore CS6 and used the Adobe Dynamic Link to import my Premiere Pro CS6 sequence into Encore CS6 and created a new timeline from that sequence. I imported a Menu (which I created in Photoshop) and linked the first chapter to button 1 in my menu and then used Create Chapter Index to bhild all the menus. How do I get the Chapter names to automatically appear in these menus without having to retype each one?

Select a button and look at properties. Check the option "Set Name From Link." You can select multiple buttons and do them at one go.
