How do I verify my (gmail) email address so I can activate Find my Iphone via iCloud?

I've got an iPhone 4 from Verizon. I have the Find My iPhone app. I have tried to register/sign in to activate the Find My iPhone app, but I keep getting roadblocked when attempting to do so. Every time I try to log in to iCloud, I get a pop-up notification telling me to "check [my email address] for instructions on how to verify my account."
Except that each time I do this, I check my email address -- the only one attached to my profile with Apple, the Apple Store, iTunes, Mobile-Me, and iCloud, and find nothing.
Any help in resolving this matter would be most appreciated.

There are instructions on this page for editing/removing it :
Navigate to appleid.apple.com using your web browser.
Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
Note: The option to send an email to reset your security questions and answers will not be available if a rescue email address is not provided. You will need to contact iTunes Store support in order to do so.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.
For step 6, as well as there being an Edit button, there should also be a Delete button.

If you still have access to your old email address, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device. In order for an email address to receive responses, there must be a FormsCentral account that uses that email address. An address is verified by logging into the email address in question after configuring the new FormsCentral account. An email is sent to the account and you verify the account by clicking on a link in the email. Once this is done the account is verified. The steps are:
Create a new FormsCentral account using the second email address (can be a Free account)
Log into the second email account and click on the link within the email that FormsCentral sends for verifying new accounts
When creating forms in your primary account, you can now add the second address as a recipient for email notifications.

You won't be able to change your rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support :http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

It depends on what email provider you are using (gmail, yahoo, comcast, etc.) Mozilla doesn't provide email, so you'd have to contact your email provider to find out how to unblock them. You can try looking in your settings for a Block list, spam list or Black list, one of those might be where the email address is. But this isn't anything related to Firefox.

First, have you considered the case where new emails are sent to you at the addresses whose accounts you want to remove from the mail client? By removing the accounts, you will accumulate emails but will never see them - is that okay?
Settings>Mail,Contacts<Calendars, in the Accounts section, tap an account, like hotmail, and on the new screen, tap Delete Account.
In the Accounts section, tap Add Account... to add the icloud email account.

You can find your printers email by logging into ePrintCenter.com and clicking on the "Printers" tab at the top of the page. The email address for your printer should display under the picture of your printer, in blue letters, on the page that pulls up. I have a mac mini with a web cam/microphone and would like to be able to facetime with my families iPhones 4S/5 using wi-fi email address. I can't call the iPhones from the Mac Mini with Mountain Lion OS. What is wrong?

I am trying to include a Mac Mini with a webcam/microphone to call several family iPhones 4S/5 usisng email addresses vice phone numbers so that we can communicate from outside the US via iPhone to the US (Mac Mini) via wi-fi and email addresses. We are using the same email address for the Mac Mini as for Itunes and made new email addresses for each of the iPhones. I cannot receive calls from the iPhones but can call the iPhones from the Mac Mini. what needs to be corrected?

My iphone has a different AppleId (without an email address) and I can't find the password, but it keeps wanting this old id for app updates.

When I add a new app on my iphone I see the correct AppleId, but later when I try to update the app, I am shown an Id for which I have no password. When I try to reset,I never receive an email. Even if I remove the app and reinstall it (these are free apps), it happens again and again. Anyone have this problem and a solution?

Are you trying to update old apps? Those apps would be tied to your old apple ID, the one you use to purchase the apps.

The "Find my iPhone" app is only provided to find your iPhone from another device (which has that app installed.) To find your missing iPhone, you will have needed to enable the facility by going to Settings > Privacy > Locations Services > Find My iPhone and setting it to "ON".
The App is worthless unless the phone has been simply mislaid and the battery is good. If you have SET the facility as said, all you have to do is log onto your iCloud account from anywhere in the world, on any type of computer with a browser, and it would tell you where your phone is. If the battery is still good. If the phone has a connection to the internet. If the phone has not been restored as new. If the phone has not been turned off.

No, Apple support cannot find your phone. It would be illegal for them to track the location of iPhones.
You should've set up Apple's free "Find my iPhone" service. That's what it is for.
Why would you expect Apple support to help when even you didn't bother to take any precautions?

My son has locked hiads ipad from too many attempts at the passcode. We have tried to restore it back to factory settings but it is now asking to turn off "find my Ipad" in Icloud but the problem is we cant get into the ipad to do this. any ideas??

Force iPad into Recovery Mode (Step by Step)
1. Hold Sleep/Wake button down and slide to turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTune (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
