How do you block certain site (ex: Facebook) from being used when Firefox is your browser? We have some employees constantly checking Facebook and my employer asked me to block it. Haven't seen the answer yet? Do I look here or in my e-mail?

But that is going to accessible to the user, so you're better off blocking specific websites on your intranet server if you're using a Local Area Network.
If each PC has their own connection to the intranet, setting up the block is best done with the HOSTS files. <br />

Are you not seeing the icon of the app you just downloaded (it happens sometimes, and the quick fix is to reset your iPad)? Or are you running out of space on your iPad?

After entering and saving my Facebook user name and password, the data is not used for subsequent entries into the application after the browser is reset. "Remember Passwords for Sites" is checked, but the data is only used if I do NOT have "Permanent Private Browsing enabled. Why does "Permanent Private Browsing" effect passwords? (Note: Facebook is NOT in the "Passwords / Exceptions..." list.)
I agree that password protection may be considered important by some for Private Browsing, however if that is the intention, then it would be one of the delineated items such as...remember browser history, remember download history, etc. that are check-listed under that function. Also, having a separate Passwords option implies that their functions are mutually exclusive and therefore should function independent of one another.

Make sure that you do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox.<br />
If you use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the 'Browsing History' when you close Firefox then restoring tabs from the last session ("Save & Quit" or "Show my windows and tabs from last time") doesn't work. -

There are none. If the find feature of your iPhone's iCloud account was not enabled, it is not findable at all. And if it has run down the battery, been turned off, or otherwise has no network connection it is not findable either. If someone has it and has restored it as new, then it is also not findable remotely.
In any of those cases, you have no options but to look for it yourself, report it to the police and your carrier. If it was not secured with a passcode lock, you should change all your online passwords immediately. -

If you change your Apple ID from your old Apple ID to your new one, then you may need to put it back to your old one so you can sign out. Once that is done just change it back all should be good. Take a look at the article below for more information.

The me.com website is not designed for or intended to be accessed by iOS devices. Apple provides support in iOS or seperate Apps for accessing all aspects of MobileMe except for the Accounts section.
Use MobielMe as intended and you'll have no problems.

Even if you use a different browser to get access to me.com on iOS, you'll find most of it is unusable.
Other websites that present you with the mobile version have been programmed to do so by their developers. They specifically look for users accessing from 'mobile' devices and switch to the mobile site. Many such sites provide a link to go back to the 'full' site, if not, there's not a lot you can do except use a browser that can pretend not to be a mobile browser. -
I have just transferred my iTunes library from a hard drive previously connected to a windows laptop to a MacBook Pro and now all my options for editing info are greyed out. I have seen the answers if still using windows but could find a similar situation to this one.

you'd have to point +iTunes media folder location+ back to the external via preferences > advanced > iTunes media folder location, then file > library, organize library > consolidate files

in that case it might be best to copy the entire iTunes folder to the external. then, on each machine, launch iTunes while pressing option on your keyboard. when prompted, click on +choose library+ and navigate to the iTunes folder on the external.
note only one iTunes can access the iTunes library @ a time !
also, make sure the external is mounted on either machine before launching iTunes.

I have a question that I think I know the answer to, but am looking for confirmation. I have a desktop computer at home that has clip art loaded onto it. I recently got an iPad and am looking for something similar. I assume I need to get an APP for it, and if that is correct, does anyone have one that they like?
Sort of. There is an app called art shop that gives you a place to park clip art. But I don't think you really need it.
If you have a collection of clip art you want available, move it to the camera roll on your pad/ phone, then copy paste into your document the clip you want.
You can get them into the camaera roll by putting them in a single event in your picture library and syncing them over, or e mail them to your self, and save to the camera roll, or send them to drop box, and bring them down that way.
The challenge is getting them all in one place to make it easy for you to find, which is why syncing might be the best approach in the long run.
As near as I can tell there is not a ready made clip art collection in app format laying around. -
How do you create a link to a pdf in Muse? Thought it was going to show that with Katie's menu and can't find in any of the tutorials.
The steps would be :
- Add files from file menu > select pdf > add to site
- Select the content (rectangle,text etc) and click on hyperlink dropdown > it should show you the added files list
- Select the file you want to link

I would like to do so proactively when I am not using a certain program but need to keep it open, and I want to free up computer resources.
In other words, I want to keep a given program open, but stop it from "thinking".There is an application that I can only open a set number of times before it expires. Every time the program closes, you get one less use out of it. I want to use it as long as possible, so I thought I would just keep it open all the time. However, it consistently turns on the fan on the computer, so I imagine it uses a lot of resources. I got the idea after the Force Quit program "paused" it once after getting overloaded with all the apps I had open. It stopped the fan, and I was able to open it and run it again later with no problems. The tricky thing with trying to intentionally overload the system is that it's a hit or miss on which open program the OS will pause (to my knowledge).
