How do you protect your iPod?

You get your beautiful new shiny iPod THEN realise how sensitive it is to scratches!! How can my Mobile Phone last two years in my pockets without hardly one scratch yet my iPod scratches when you breath on it?!!
This brings me to the question, how do you protect your iPod?
I like the skins available but they mean you can not dock the unit or slip it into one of those speaker units!
I have heard about a protection called The Invisible Shield but I can't find it anywhere (has it been banned?), I live in the UK.

y left the adhesive protector but when i got here it got
dirty under the protector so i took it off but now its click wheel is very scratched, the ipod works still good but
it does not look nice anymore!!

That app simply allow you to find other devices using your ipod. It has nothing to do with fining the device on which it is installed.
If you set up the find my ipod feature that is built into your ipod and the ipod is on and it is connected to wi-fi and it has not been restored, then you may be able to get an approximate street address using icloud.
Othrewise, it cannot be tracked.

You can sync with one and only one computer at a time. Sycning to another will indeed erase the content from the ipod and replace with content from the new computer.
You should copy everything from the old computer to the new one.
