How do you trap bad request exceptions

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to catch an exception from the page flow request processor. I'd like to be able to trap requests to invalid .do and .jpf urls. I have exception handling in my Global.app, but that only seems to apply to exceptions generated by the page flow controller.
At the moment I'm getting this magic html which I think is maybe hardcoded in one of the struts or workshop servlets?
<html><head><title>Page Flow Error - Action Not Found</title></head>
<body>
<h1>Page Flow Error - Action Not Found</h1>
<table border="1" cellspacing="0">
<tr><td><b>Page Flow:</b></td><td>Global.app</td></tr>
<tr><td><b>Action:</b></td><td>blah/something</td></tr>
<tr><td><b>Form:</b></td><td>null</td></tr>
</table>
<span style="color:red">Unable to find action <b>blah/something</b>.</span>
</body></html>
thanks,
laphroaig

You can report a problem with a purchase as described on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1933
There is this general feedback page for the iPad, but I think the above is probably better : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

  • How do you redirect HTTP requests to HTTPS?

    Update to my question:
    My original question didn't include all of the complexity of what I'm trying to do.
    I have a virtual server with two listening ports, 80 and 443. I have a certificate installed for port 443 and that works fine when I specifically type in https://myserver
    I also have a reverse proxy setup for a URI- /myapp -> remoteserver.
    I'd like to configure my webserver to do a redirect from /myapp to the URL https:/myserver/myapp
    and then have the reverse proxy kick and send me over to my remote server.
    Everything works fine if I browse to https://myserver/myapp. I just want for requests from http://myserver/myapp to be turned into https://myserver/myapp before the reverse proxy takes effect.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks-

    It would go into whichever obj.conf file is specified for this virtual server (probably <server>-obj.conf, but double-check your server.xml to be certain).
    I tend to process redirects early in the obj.conf. I usually try to have them processed before the other NameTrans statements. Here's how I've done it with other kinds of conditionals:
    <Object name=default>
    <If $urlhost = "www.foo.baz.com">
    NameTrans fn="redirect" from="/" url-prefix="http://foo.baz.com/"
    </If>In my case someone had created published a link to my server with a FQDN that was incorrect. Since they had done it in printed material a fix for them was not trivial. To address the problem I created a DNS entry that matched their typo, and created the redirect here to bounce from the bad FQDN to the proper FQDN. You're doing basically the same thing, except you want to redirect accesses to a particular URI that are not SSL enable to the same URL with SSL.
    Please note that I haven't checked any of the syntax I gave you in the prior post. I already see one typo (~= should be =~). The variables being evaluated should be checked for correctness too (e.g. security!="true" might in fact be something like "not defined $security").
    Check the docs. :)

  • BPM(IP) - how do you trap an AppErr in an Int Process?

    We are running SAP PI 7.11.
    Have created an Integration Process (BPM) that makes a synchronous call to a web-service.  When an error occurs, the web-service passes back an ApplicationError.  So far so good.
    Currently - the error shows up in SXMB_MONI, as an Application Error.  We want to trap this, and handle the error another way.  That is, in SXMB_MONI, we do not want to see the red-box Application Error when this fails - we want to see a Checkered Flag.  (We will handle the error another way.)
    In the IP, we have built a Block with an Exception Branch, and have pointed the Exception Handling from the sync Send step to that branch, but, on an App Error -
    1)  The branch is not getting executed.
    2)  The entry in SXMB_MONI shows as an App Error, not Checkered Flag.
    Thoughts?

    Thank you for the link to the "SOAP Fault in PI - Hijack It" blog.
    The solution outlined in the blog is, however, a much more complicated implementation for such a minor, annoying problem.  We want to solve it with standard PI if possible (...which it sounds like it might not be.)
    We do not have the Axis adapter installed on our PI system (I ran the test outlined in the blog) and even if we installed it, the blog includes a massive java program to be installed somewhere.
    We have a PI staff of 4, only one of us is a true java developer.  The rest of us can code java in PI, but this looks daunting.
    So, I am still looking for a cleaner solution - I mean, a ynchronous Service Interface has a request, a response, and a fault property.  But the Send component in the BPM only has parameters for the request and response.  Why not a slot for the Fault?
    Again, thanks for the (very fast) response....I will continue searching for another way.

  • How do you throw attribute level exception in setter for VORowImpl

    Hello All,
    I am trying to perform a very basic view object extension in iProcurement. All I want to do is throw an attribute level exception (or row level...whichever I can get to work). The code runs, however, the page displays the attribute error for all rows, and, it should only be displaying it for the row that had the validation error.
    I next simplified the test by extending the iProcurement view object, but, not generating any VORowImpl classes. This way, I am using only Oracle code. Same result...if I purposely enter a bad number on one row, the result when I hit the continue button is that all rows get flagged with the error.
    Without the substitution, the error is displayed correctly for only the row that caused it.
    Are there any known issues using OAAttrValException or OARowValException when substitution is made on a view object?

    SOLVED -
    I found the issue.
    JDeveloper Version 9.0.3.5 appears to have a 'bug' I may have found. When creating a new View Object, the key attribute(s) that are pulled in from the view object you are extending appear to all have the 'Key Attribute' checkbox checked. (View object I am extending is not based on EO objects). However, if you inspect the xml file for the new view object, you will see that the wizard did not save off the value for the key attributes in the "KeyAttributes" tag usually found at the end of the xml file, such as:
    <AttrArray Name="KeyAttributes">
    <Item Value="RcvTransactionId" />
    </AttrArray>
    You think the key attribute is set because the GUI displays the checkbox.
    Closing the project and re-opening, which causes the xml fiel to be read again, will refresh the checkbox so that it is unchecked. Checking and re-saving does the trick.
    Without the key attribute set, any calls to OAAttrValException with parameter getKey() break as getKey() returns null. Subsequently, the exceptions thrown to the user on the screen are improperly displayed.
    Everything works great now! I just have to remember to go back and check any 'Key Attributes' on future View Object extensions.

  • How do you fix bad blocks on an external hard drive without using disk utility

    so basically does anyone know how to fix bad blocks on a external hard drive without using disk utlility please

    Oh...if you have data you are trying to save then its best to try cloning the drive to another one, which should save its data as-is to another drive. Hopefully you can do so without there being hangups around the bad blocks and keep at least most of your data intact. I'd recommend you try using Carbon Copy Cloner to do this, but you will need a secondary drive that is at least the size of the data on the problematic drive.

  • How do you silence all alerts except phone and alarm?

    I want to silence all alerts (texts, emails, etc) except for phone calls and the alarm like I could with my blackberry.
    My new iPhone 5c is a huge upgrade from the BB other than the lack of Sound Profiles.
    I've read a post about plugging the headphones in so that the other alerts play through them, but the phone and alarm still sound out, but this does not appeal to me as I don't typically use earbuds.  Matter of fact, the ones that came with the phone are still in the box.
    If this is the only option, I think it's a bit chintzy, but I can go with it.
    Thank you for your comments.

    One option that I can think of is enabling Do Not Disturb.  It will allow alarms and gives you different options for allowing phone calls.  You can have it enabled "always" or "only while iPhone is locked".

  • Getting Bad request error while trying to get a specific document details from c#.

    Hi,
    While trying to retrieve a specific document details using RESTful WS API from C#, it is throwing "The remote server returned an error: (400) Bad Request" exception.
    the request URL i am using for this is like;  "http://<Server>:6405/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/1111"
    But it is working fine, if i change my request URL to get the dataproviders of the same document like; "http://<Server>:6405/biprws/raylight/v1/documents/1111/dataproviders"
    Please let me know if i am missing any thing in first case, getting the details of a specific document, while sending a request to RESTful SDK.
    Thanks,
    Kalyan

    I think you are using “Content-Type” header or an “Accept” header.
    You should be using “Accept: application/xml” for that request

  • Do you have an option for block all incoming message and request EXCEPTED messages from my contacts?

    Please help!!To whom it may concernDear Madam/Sir who works for Skype & Microsoft  Dear all who can really help,  Do you have an option for block all incoming message and request EXCEPTED messages from my contacts? or Do you have any solution to solve my problem from begin to now in present time?  Even though, I set the Privacy settings: - Allow calls from... "people in my Contact list only"- Automatically received video and share screens with "people in my Contact list only"- Allow IMs from "people in my Contact list only"  I still received unknow users sent me messages in every day, contact requests etc. And they're all clearly spammings and identity thefts.  I only wanna contact with my family and my freinds here with Skype via my Windows device and my mobile phone (w/Android OS).  And this is the only way to contact with them, because they could use Skype only in overseas.  BUT I don't need new friend from other unknow Skype member.   I keep blocked all unknow spammers in every day.  However in this morning, I feel so scared with Skype on my mobile, I looked at my mobile Skype, I saw it automatically showed me the list of all blocked members. BUT they were all unblocked (contact unblocked) by my mobile (Android version) Skype itself automatically, and listed them one by one on the screen, and about 30 seconds later, they all were disappeared suddenly.  I don't know what do to now, is it indicating my account was hacked?And how could I found out all those members again and block them again and delete all of them for ever?  I appreciate if you would improve the privacy protection. Thank you very very very much.

    Hrm... that may be true and this may be a function of the phone email client that Apple just doesn't do.
    No, I can easily MANUALLY delete the messages. I would prefer if I didn't have to do it twice, tho. Once on the mail server and once on the phone.
    What I think the phone needs to do is, when it checks the POP, anything NOT there should be removed locally. I think you are correct on POP; the phone will poll the mx (mail exchanger) and the mx will pass off the messages to the phone. The phone then keeps ALL of that unitl you manually delete it.
    If, say, I remove a message from the mx, I would like the phone, when next polls, to see that that particular message isn't on the server anymore and remove it locally.
    Perhaps it's just me but if I delete the message on the mx itself, via my ISP's webmail interface, I really don't want to have to remove it again from my phone.
    thxs!
    cheers

  • How do you preview using a spool request number

    How do you preview using a spool request number?
    I have an application in which I have accumulated the results from several smartforms into one spool request. I have the spool request number, and am printing it using function RSPO_RPRINT_SPOOLREQ.
    I need to be able to preview the contents of the spool request before printing. I can not preview when generating the smartforms, as that involves several previews, and I need to preview once only per spool request.
    I have been trying to use RSPO_RDISPLAY_OUTREQ but it dumps immediately (line 47) with field symbol <FTSP01> not assigned.
    Suggestions?

    Is this error just for this message, or all messages?
    Is the xml valid against the payload. You will need to use a tool like XML spy to check.
    Are you able to see the response coming back, if so does it conform to the response schema.
    cheers

  • How do you transfer voice memos to your pc?  I have synced my phone a number of times and everything updates with the exception of voice memos?

    How do you transfer voice memos to your pc?  I have synced my phone a number of times and everything updates with the exception of voice memos? Also, my voice memos are checked to be synced everytime my phone is synced.

    Voice memos, once correctly synced, will appear under your Music Library.  Can you go through your music library to check?

  • Why are there so many more choices on the USA iTunes Store? Surely having an iTunes account should let you access all itunes availability the world over? Also how do you request films/tv series to the UK itunes?

    Why are there so many more choices on the USA iTunes Store? Surely having an iTunes account should let you access all itunes availability the world over?
    Also how do you request films/tv series to the UK itunes? There's tv series I'd like but they're incomplete like The Batman &amp; Xena Warrior Princess. And films theta aren't available for download but you can purchase in a store like HMV?  Apple isn't doing itself any favours by secluding countries by their store. They'd make billions if you could just select the iTunes Store you want to search &amp; purchase from just by signing in! If anything what they're doing is putting themselves into a corner, other companies like Samsung &amp; HTC are already on too of them for innovation &amp; ease of use. The people they're attracting are predominantly existing Apple users not new customers. What do you guys think?

    It's not Apple's choice, they can only sell a particular item where the content provider/rights-holder has granted them a license to sell them. Content is licensed by the rights-holders to Apple on a country-by-country basis, each country therefore has to have its own store, and you have to be in a country to use its store - they want control over where their content is available.
    You can try requesting that an item be added to the UK store via this page, but unless the rights-holder agrees to then Apple won't be able to sell it here : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html

  • How do you know a hard drive is bad?

    how do you know a hard drive is bad?

    From the OS X "Help" system:
    Check whether a disk is about to fail
    You can check the health of many disks in Disk Utility. Many disks include Self-Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T) hardware, which lets a disk test itself for potential problems.
    Open Disk Utility.
    Select the disk in the list at the left.
    If you see a message saying the disk has a fatal hardware error, the disk has an irreparable hardware problem that can’t be fixed by Disk Utility or any other utility that repairs software problems. Back up as much of the data on the disk as possible, and then replace the disk.
    If you don’t see a message saying the disk has a hardware error but you still have problems with the disk, you can try to repair it with Disk Utility.
