How do you use a field for 255 characters plus in HCM?
There is a 255 character max on the fields in the HCM process and forms.
I see some types in there:
QISR_TAB_TYPE
QISR_TAB_TYPE_TEXT
QISR_TAB_TYPE_STRING
I see the text one is for no length restriction, but when I apply it to the field in designtime interface but still everything truncated at 255.
Is there anyway to use more than 255 characters in a form field in adobe livecycle designer - SAP HCM?

How can you use the Keyboard for a JComboBox within a JTable without F2
I am brand new to Java and I can't seem to figure this out. I have a JTable with 4 columns. The first column is a jCheckBox which is working fine. The other three are JComboBoxes. They work fine when you click them and select from the list, but our end users only want to navigate with the keyboard. They want to be able to tab to the column and just start typing the first letter of the item that they want to choose from the list and have that pop up the list and scroll to the first item in the list that starts with the letter the typed. Does anyone know how to do this? I have been playing with this for a week now and I can't seem to make it work. Please help. Below is the code for my table. Any help would be appreciated greatly. How do you use two scripts for a button?
Hi all!
I'm referring to my earlier question posted in this topic:
Object not found with myContext.getParamIdForComponent
In short: when I had the attribute 'jsObjectNeeded="true"' on a button and that was for a script that would start a function validating a field, and then at the same time had a script in the button that would activate the "pressing" of it through the hit of the "return" button, I got javascript error saying "Error: Objekt doesn't support this property or method"
Do you know a way to have both functionalitys connected to the button?

and also, where how do you check that, the BAPI function module is executed.

Yoy will not have to use the card, but you can't use the ID without entering the card details now. You may be able to remove the card as well after the card is verified for use by Apple by editing your account details.
There is a very specific manner in which you have to set up an ID without using a credit card. You can read about it here.

If you decide to create a new ID now, you will new another email address as wel, because the email address that you are currently using will already be associated with the ID that you just set up.

iPhone Local Storage "My iPhone" - How do you create this folder for use by the Notes app on a iPhone or iPad? If I want to keep some notes only on my device and not in a cloud environment associated with an e-mail account. I've seen reference to the "My iPhone" local storage put no mention on how you create this folder or access this folder within the Notes app. I realize storing information in a local storage like this provides no syncing between other iDevices but that is exactly what I'm looking for. I'm running iOS7.0.4 on a iPhone 5S, and a iPad Air. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you go to Settings > Notes > Default Account you will see "On My iPhone" as the default account and the only choice if you have not enabled syncing Notes in Settings >iCloud or Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. If you have enabled syncing you can still select "On My iPhone" as the default account. When you are in the Notes app you won't see any accounts listed if you have not enabled syncing because they are all in the On My iPhone account and that is the only place possible. It is not a folder that you create.

How do you change apple id for icloud if phone is already set up. Need to give each phone in my account their own apple id for icloud so that we dont receive each others messages but can still all use same id for purchases.
Settings-icloud-scroll to the bottom, select delete, if you want to keep the content select keep, otherwise it'll remove it. Then once it is done add the account information for the account you want on that phone. Your apple ID in settings-store will remain the same and each device can still purchase/use content from that account.

ThanksAs Christopher says, it's a compilation. Different tracks are by different artists.
Setting the *Album Artist* field to *Various Artists* and setting *Part of a compilation* to Yes should be all that is required. Depending on your *Group compilations when browsing* setting ( I recommend On ) either should suffice but I suggest doing both.
Based on your commentary, I selected all the "O Brother" tracks, and checked the boxes for everything line that was blank in the Info and the Sort panes. Only exceptions were the album name and the disc number 1 of 1 and the artwork. I blanked and checked anything else.
That's not what I meant. When you select multiple tracks, only those values which +are already common+ to all tracks are displayed. Typically these will include Artist, though not with compilation albums, Album Artist, Album, No. of Tracks, Genre plus various sort fields. A blank value may indicate that different tracks have different values or it may be that the value is blank for all tracks. For the drop down values on the Options tab the value shown may not reflect the information in every tag. If values you expect to be common, such as Album Artist or the Album title are not displayed you can simply type these in and click OK. This will often be enough to group the album.
If you place a checkmark against the blank boxes and apply changes then you will clear those fields so you should only do this if that is the effect you want. Putting a checkmark next to an empty (representing different values) *Track No.* box, for example, will just clear the all the track numbers which is very rarely useful.
Adding then removing extra text is for a specific problem where despite all common values being identical across the tracks of the album iTunes seems to "remember" that it should see two albums. A typical example would be when an album originally listed as *Album CD1* & *Album CD2* is given disc numbers X of Y and then has the Album name changed to Album. I've seen iTunes merge all but one track into the new album, but insist on listing one remaining track separately, despite both albums having the same title. In this case I've found overtyping the album title again has no effect whereas changing it to AlbumX and then back to Album does what I was trying to achieve in the first place.
Don't forget that even properly organsied albums may still break up if you don't chose an album-friendly view. Sorting on the track name or track number columns can be useful in some circumstances but in general I revert to Album by Artist when browsing through my library.

I have two tables. One is room (primary key is room(type is char)), another table is responsibility (foreign ker is room(type is char)). Both tables have same length for room column.
There is a problem:
If I use (in the "DataEditComponent.jsp" file)

I found If I changed the field type from char to varchar2 in database also change the entity objects, it works well. I wonder if there are any diffrence using <jbo:InputSelect tag in char and varchar2 type. How can I use <jbo:InputSelect for a char type filed as i don't want to change my datatype in database at this stage.

If you are using this as part of an edit page you may want to utilize the "selected" option of the <option> tag. In one instance I am doing this on an edit page because the use may open an existing record. If I don't account for it, then it will change the DB to contain the first value from the list! You can do a simple check like:

Select the 'Iten Cases' register and remember to setup the Tabstrip Header, Icon, etc. Set the 'Tabstrip active' flag. Then Save.
Quality Notification -> Notification Types -> Define screen areas for notification types
WE ARE UNABLE TO FIND IN CUSTOMIZATION PATH --> DEFINE SCREEN AREAS FOR NOTIFICATION TYPES.

If that field which you wants to add is available in one of the structures like EKKO,EKPO then you can add that field just beside the other fields
If that field is not there in the any of the structures then you can define a variable using define command
/: DEFINE &VAR&
/ &VAR& = <some value>
or you can write subroutines to fetch the data from outside tables and can use those fields data in the script
