How "FormsBindingNavigatorSaveItem" save value in cell in "DataGridViewComboxBoxColumn" in DataGridView?

I created an SQL Server table and made one of the fields a ComboBox.
I drag the table onto a form.
Now On the form the DataGridview ComboBox ColumnType is "DataGridViewComboxBoxColumn".
In the Bound Column Properties "Items" click the elipses for the collection.
In the collections enter the values on a separate line without quotes.
When the application runs the DataGridView appears, it is here that you select
an item from the ComboBox.
On the form there is a "FormsBindingNavigatorSaveItem" which is executed by clicking the "Disk
Icon" on the toolbar on the top of the page that was created when the table was
dragged onto the form.
The problem is that when the Disk Icon is clicked and the "FormsBindingNavigatorSaveItem" executes, it saves that row but the value that was selected in the ComboBox does not get saved.
Since the ComboBox was created as a field in the table can you make the
"FormsBindingNavigatorSaveItem" save the value in the "DataGridViewComboxBoxColumn"?

How to save value of textfield in a tableview?
I have some textfields in a tableview and I save the values of these textfields to some global variables in the textFieldDidEndEditing method. So everytime I click the "Done" button or change focus to another textfield the value is saved. I only have one problem, I have a save button in the topbar so the user can save the values permanent. If the user enter some text in a textfield and then directly tap the save button at the topbar the textFieldDidEndEditing method is never called and so the value is never saved. How can I solve this problem, any ideas?
Hi, you can implement textFieldDidBeginEditing and save a reference to the current textField. In textFieldDidEndEditing you set this reference to nil.
If the button is pressed you just have to check if the reference is not nil and you know there's an unsaved textField. And the reference tell's you which field it is. -

i have a prb with my coding below. i am trying to save the value tvbdpr-uecha into wa_zmas-uecha by using modify as shown below.
however, the value uecha is not successfully being transported/saved into it_zmas.
could anyone guide me?

If the internal table is already having contents and u need to modify it for the field uecha, you can try the following
LOOP AT tvbdpr WHERE posnr = wa_zmas-posnr AND matnr = wa_zmas-matnr.
wa_zmas-uecha = tvbdpr-uecha.
READ TABLE it_zmas with KEY posnr = wa_zmas-posnr matnr = wa_zmas-matnr.
if sy-subrc = 0.
it_zmas-uecha = wa_zmas-uecha.
MODIFY it_zmas index sy-index.
clear it_zmas-uecha.
endif.
ENDLOOP.
Else if the internal table is empty and you are populating the field uecha, use append
LOOP AT tvbdpr WHERE posnr = wa_zmas-posnr AND matnr = wa_zmas-matnr.
wa_zmas-uecha = tvbdpr-uecha.
it_zmas-uecha = wa_zmas-uecha.
append it_zmas.
clear it_zmas.
ENDLOOP.

Simple "Find" question -- How to find values in cells with formulas?
Sorry if this is a stupid question but I don't find the answer. I have a table with values that are all computed via complex formulas. I want to FIND, say, when the value is 19. I can't find a way to do it: If I use the "find" command and type 19, the program finds when 19 is written INSIDE the formulas, e. g., it finds the cell where a formula is thus defined:
=Table Correct Responses :: A19
but does NOT find the cell with VALUE 19.
Tried different syntax combinations without success. Any idea?

Select the entire table.
Cells Inspector.
Define a rule like the one I uses here.
It will highlight the cells whose value matches the condition.

How to save values of a page from tab control??
Good morning!
I have a question about saving the data of one page of the tab control.
In my case, alarms (boolean buttons) can be activated, it will appear in a page called HISTORICO (Date // Time // Room), but when I change to another page and back again to the HISTORICO page, the table back for null value.

frontpanel.png 141 KBIn your case structure set on the case "Tabela", you have a Use default if Unwired tunnel on the right hand side. And I can see that you have some unwired tunnels on it. If the case structure ever executes one of those cases, then the default value of an empty table is going to be passed out and put in the shift register.
Solution:
1. Right click on that tunnel and turn off Use Default if Unwired. (In 95% of tunnels, it should not be used.)
2. Find the cases where the tunnel is unwired and pass the table wire through all of them. -

How to search files, get cells, loop, and save
Howdy Folks, I'm another Applescript newbie in over my head. I'm working on a script to copy xl files into a master xl file. the files is a roster with student and class information. the number of students will vary. WIth help from a friend I have it about 80% where I want it. Need help with the rest. I hope its okay to ask multiple question about the script if not i do apoligize.
when the script runs it asks for the location of the file. the files are titled Houston_Sam_DWI_Jan.xlsx. I have several files in a master folder that i am trying to get data from, but the script goes through one at a time.
I know i need to loop it somehow to go through all of the files containing "DWI" in the title, I just don't know how to do it.
the script is set up to get a range of cells, but there are other individual cells i need to copy like dates(C7), Instructor(H7), and location(C11). How do i get these individual cells and paste them to the master doc: Location(E7), Dates (F7), Instructor(G7) and have them repeat down the column as the number of students from each of the classes populates the list.
finally, i have the master file name as annual report, the script does update the anual report file, but when it goes to save it creates a file named "sheet 1". i just want it to update the annual report file and save all changes.

You can use the CNiFile class to write the value out to a file. For example, create a new Measurement Studio C++ project and follow these steps:
Add a CNiNumEdit to the dialog.
Add a member variable for the CNiNumEdit called m_numEdit.
Add a button to the dialog.
Double-click the button to add a message handler for the button's BN_CLICKED message.
Add the following code to the button's BN_CLICKED message handler:
CNiFile file("C:\\Values.log", CFile::modeCreate | CFile::modeWrite | CFile::typeText);
file << m_numEdit.Value << endl;
file.Close();
Run the application, edit the CNiNumEdit's value, and click the button. The value should be written to the Values.log
file as specified in the code above.

Go to Solution.This can mean two things. Will the default value always be 5? You could right click the control, select Data Operations, then Make Current Values Default. This can only be done at edit time and the value is saved with the vi. If you know you will always need the same default value then do this. If you need the user to be able to change the default value without editing and saving the vi then see the post by smercurio_fc above.
