How does system defaults grouping when creating a specific business partner. I need to have different groupings defaulted for different Business partners. What & where is the configuration done.....

You do want (and need) to get IT to get DNS configured here, within the organizational DNS.
This requirement is part of the basic functioning of a modern IP network. Reliable and functional and correct DNS is an integral component of that. Security and a whole raft of applications and protocols further up the stack expect and depend upon DNS.
The task of getting an IP host address allocated and an associated DNS entry added and distributed is simple, at least from a technical perspective. Adding a DNS entry in an existing DNS implementation isn't rocket science, after all.
Any associated network client systems will find the organizational DNS servers, and will find (or will not find) the host name and host address of your server there. So you'll either need /etc/hosts on all, or your own DNS infrastructure for your host and your clients, or the proper entry into the organizational DNS servers. You can minimally use /etc/hosts on your server, but your clients won't resolve the host name of the server correctly. This all tends to end up in a mess and in backing out and/or rebuilding and/or reconfiguring pieces, unless DNS is "done right."
The central organizational issue here appears to be malfunctioning or underfunded or overworked or warring or mismanaged corporate organizations, from what information is included here. One or more parties need to be seated in one or more managers' offices, having career discussions.
You don't want your "network conduct" to cause you to be occupying one of those seats yourself, however.
If the IT team and IT manager(s) can't get the DNS entry added, then the group or C-level folks need be involved. And if an IT matter involving the simple addition of an IP address and the addition of a DNS entry into an existing DNS infrastructure lands in the in-box of the C-level, I'd suggest it's time to reconsider your role and possibly to dust off your own resume, too.

Hi,
1) In the PPOMA__BBP you can define in the attribute tab the Purchase group can be made as default.
Without attribute you cannot create a shopping cart.
(or)
If you are creating shopping cart in this the is a DEFAULT SETTINGS available you can make the purchase group as DEFAULT

How to add default associated groups when creating new site

Hi All,
I am trying to create a new subsite in sharepoint 2013 using CSOM (code is mentioned below). But no default groups (MEMBER, VISITOR, OWNER) are getting created in that site. When we try through UI we will got through a page "Set Up Groups
for this Site" where we can specify these details.. Is it possible to do the same (creating default groups together with the site creation) through CSOM or powershell.

How to change default compile directory tmp_ejb?

Dear all,
Someone knows how to change the default directory "tmp_ejb...." in WebLogic Server
7.0?
This is the default directory where WebLogic Server 7.0 generates and compiles
the EJB's declared in config.xml.
I try to specify the attribute TmpPath="ANOTHER_TMP_LOCATION_DIRECTORY_FOR_EJB"
in the EJBContainer node but still doesn't work.
The same thing happens when I test this attribute on EJBComponent declaration.
Someone knows if there is an enviroment variable that specify this tmp_ejb location
path?
It's false that the tmp_ejb is located where the config.xml file is placed.
I have 3 weblogic servers and they haven't the same behaviour.
Someone can help me??????

How to set default values for boolean columns

I'm trying to deploy some content types and columns into a site with a feature. All it's ok, except that I'm trying to set a default value for boolean columns with no success.
I've tried to set default value at column level:

The events of BDT can be used to default some fields on creating a partner.
For this create a function module for ISDAT. attach that event in BUS7.
In the ISDAT funtion modulethe following code should be used.
For example to set the nationality:
I_BUSDEFAULT-NATIO = 'DE.
CALL FUNCTION 'BUP_BUPA_FIELDVALUES_SET'

I'm pretty sure higher access superceedes, so you could set up a group with no actual access, just to get the preferences working, then their individual security will dictate what they can do. I haven't tested this fully, but I beleive this is how it will work. As far as setting the preferences, go into the admin console and right click on the group, then select Preferences. To apply the group preferences to a user, add the user to the group, then right click on the user, select preferences and from the upper left corner, use the drop down to select the active preference, in this case, it will be the group you created and added them to. HTH

Account and CC/PC are 2 different entity types. For PC and CC there is dependency. First you have to load Cost centers and then load PC.
For CC - load CC master data first. Then load hierarchy file then group file and finally assignment file.
Follow same process for PC.
GL you can load independently but you have first load group GL then operational GL and then GL at company code level,

You need change the IKM. This values are hardcode in the IKM.
You can create a new IKM and the values used are a options of the IKM.

How to change default Ovi Player store ...

I need help from you people.
I had installed Ovi Player. Whenever I try to open Ovi Player, the default store gets’ open is "India". I change the store location to "Germany". When I do the search for particular music, it will again take me to "India" store instead of "Germany" store. In addition, most annoying is that I have to re-login but my user id and password will not work as its different store. Also when I go via music.nokia.de and try to login, it open Ovi player and since default location is "India", it takes me to India store and my login credentials do not work.
I ask Nokia care on how to change default Ovi Player Store location but they are unable to provide any good answer.
I already un-install / re-installed but won't work. Do any of you have answer to my problem? I want my default Ovi Player location to be "Germany" instead of "India".
More information, my regional settings have location as “Germany” and language as “English”.
Please help.

This error is sometimes caused by a corrupted MDataStore.db3 file used by the Ovi Player. This file will need to be deleted with the Ovi Player closed. Then open the player and the datastore file will be rewritten by the application:
Close Ovi Music Player and delete the MDataStore.db3 file:
Vista C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Nokia\Nokia Data Store\DataBase\MDataStore.db3
XP C:\Documents and Settings\<user>\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia\Nokia Data Store\DataBase\MDataStore.db3
Both of these locations are in hidden folders. So, to view them users will need to:
Open Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Show Hidden Files and Folders
Once Ovi Music is opened again the MDataStore.db3 file will be rewritten to this folder.
 After that manipulation try to install the Ovi Player once again:

How to change default fonts in Indesign

I've tried the usual recommended steps - open InDesign, select a font, then close the program, etc. -- but nothing seems to work. Every style reverts to MetaPlus. Help!

Respectfully, I've tried this, and I'm not looking for suggested working solutions as I have a pretty clear understanding of how to set defaults and how to utilize paragraph styles. I'm simply pointing out that contrary to what you're saying, setting the font in the character palette does NOT change the true default font in my experience (CS4, OS10.4.11). I do understand that the default is set with no documents open by then selecting the font in the character palette.
I'm attaching 2 screen shots to show you that I'm not making this up. In the first you can hopefully see I've clearly set the "default" to Arial now.
In the second I've created a new document and a new paragraph style. You can see it already considers "Arial" as deviating from the base "No Paragraph Style" and if you click on "Reset to Base" you will see that sure enough, the true default font is still Geneva (Geneva in my case as outlined in my previous post).
Generally, this isn't much of a problem. As you've all pointed out we can accept that these additions are the new default for a new paragraph style, but it really isn't changing the true default font. Depending on your working environment and the experience of the designers this may be good enough. For my environment I'm looking for the ability to change the true default font and the only solution I've come across is the one from my previous post (deleting preferences).
