How I identify a transaction in OIGN is Prod Receipt or Goods receipt?

Hi all,
I check to transactions oin OIGN and IGN1 and I caccont identify how they come ( e.g. Receipt from Production or Goods Receipt).
Is this possible?
Thanks in Advance,

You may tell the difference from JrnlMemo field in OIGN table.  There are default description Goods receipts for those transactions or Receipt from Production for the other.

  • How to identify BTE's relating to a transaction?

Can anyone pls tell me how to identify BTE's related to a transaction...or rather what are the BTE's related to the transaction CM01,CM02,CM03,CM04?

Example Business Scenario for Business Transaction Events
Company A would like to copy the group key field from the vendor master into the allocation field on all the line items within a vendor invoice and payments, including the vendor lines. This requirement assumes only one vendor is posted to in a document.
To accomplish this requirement, Company A will use the Business Transaction Event 1130, Post Document: SAP Internal Field Substitution.
    1. IMG Menu Path: Financial Accounting Financial Accounting Global Settings Use Business Transaction Events Environment Infosystem (Processes).
    2. Find the correct Business Event. You are updating a field, so you select the Processes Info System instead of the Publish and Subscribe Info System.
    3. Execute the search with the defaults.
    4. Find the correct interface for updating a document: Post Document: SAP- Internal Field Substitution
    5. Put your cursor on the event and click on the Sample Function Module button.
    6. You are now in transaction SE37 – Function Builder. This is the function module (sample_process_00001130) you will need to copy into a "Z" name function module for your coding
    7. Click on the Copy button.
    8. Enter the "Z" function module name in the To Function Module field
    9. Enter a Function Group. If you need to create a "Z" function group, go to transaction code SE37 and follow menu path: Go to Function Groups Create Group. A function group is a logical grouping of function modules, and the ABAP code is generated for function groups. You will be prompted for a development class and transport when creating the function group.
    10. In Function Builder (transaction SE37), enter the new "Z" function module. Click on the Change button.
    11. The system will default into the source code screen where you may enter your ABAP code.
    12. Notice the tables available for the code. Additional tables may be declared if necessary.
    13. Enter the following source code
    tables: lfa1.
    data: z_groupkey like lfa1-konzs.
    z_groupkey = ' '.
    loop at t_bseg.
check for vendor lines. If one is found, read the vendor master and
    retrieve the group key field.
    if t_bseg-koart eq 'K'.
select single konzs from lfa1 into z_groupkey
    where lifnr = t_bseg-lifnr.
    endif.
Move the group key field into all line items allocation field.
    loop at t_bsegsub.
    t_bsegsub-zuonr = z_groupkey.
    modify t_bsegsub index sy-tabix.
    endloop. "t_bsegsub
    endloop. "t_bseg
    14. Save the function module.
    15. Back out to the main Function Builder screen by clicking on the green arrow button.
    16. Activate the function module by clicking on the Activate button
    17. Assign the function module to the event in the IMG: Financial Accounting Financial Accounting Global Settings Business Transaction Events Settings Process Function Modules of an SAP Appl.
    18. Hit enter past the warning messages that this is SAP data.
    19. Click on the New Entries button.
    20. Enter the process for your interface. In your example it is 00001130.
    21. Enter the country the interface is valid for. If it is valid for all countries, leave this field blank.
    22. Enter the application the interface should be called for. If it should be called for all applications, leave this field blank. Please note that not all integrated transactions are programmed to go through these interfaces! You will need to test to find out!
    23. Enter the new "Z" function module
    24. Save the settings. At this point you will be prompted for a CTS number for the configuration change.
    25. The Business Transaction Event is complete! You are ready for testing.

How can identify the default currency for a customer?
I know that this is being determined when you create a sales order for a particular customer, for example, so I could break this process open and find out what it uses. But I thought it worth asking in this forum first.

    Hi Gary,
As per my understanding of your question I am replying , If you are looking some thing else then I request you to please elaborate your query.
If you see the BP sales area data in transaction BP, In billing tab you maintain the currency for a customer which is default currency when you create a sales order.

  • How to identify a One time Customer in Oracle Apps AR

    Hello,
How to identify a One time Customer In Oracle APps AR?
Is it possible to find out how many number of transactions a Customer does so that, if the number of transactions is 1, then that customer is a one time customer. or else he is not?
    Thank you
    Bob

    Hi Bob,
to my knowledge, i cannot recollect a seeded report from oracle that could meet your requirement. You can try running the Transaction Register report from your Go live date till now, so that system would generate a list of all the Invoices along with the Customer Name, then you could export this to excel and perform a sort, filter and groupby to get the desired result ....
However if you are a person with technical expertise, check the table RA_CUSTOMER_TRX_ALL this stores all the transaction related information ..... you can select TRX_NUMBER, BILL_TO_CUSTOMER_ID from this table and perform a count by customer...(I am not sure on the syntax and usage of sql functions) you can get the desired results ...
Also in future, while creating a new customer if you know well in advance that this customer is going to be an ONE TIME CUSTOMER, there you could capture that information in any unused field on the customer configuration or can enable a DFF and capture this information, so it becomes very easy to identify such customers or have a report built based on it...
I assume there is an objecive behind trying to find One time customers or customers with a single transaction history ... are you planning to disable/end date/inactivate such customers ....?

  • How to identify manual journal entries

    Hello,
In the GL tables, GL headers and GL Lines, how can we identify if a journal entry is an automated entry or a manual entry.
That is, entries can be made into the General ledger through Interface programs or other import methods. We describe them as Automated.
And if journal entries are made directly into the GL, how to identify them against the automated ones.
I need to know from a backend perspective, i.e which column in which GL table specifies if an entry is a manual or an automated journal entry.
For Ex: In the GL_JE_Headers table, the JE_Source and the JE_Category mentions from where the source is.
Like, JE_Source is Payables and Je_Category can be Purchase Invoices or Payments.
Looking at the above line, we can identify that this is an automated entry from Payables.
How to identify the manual entries.
    Your help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Bob

    Hi Bob,
In the GL_JE_HEADERS table, column JE_SOURCE would have value as "MANUAL", this indicates that journal is created manually in General Ledger module and not imported from subledgers ....There is no indicative column for us to identify whether it is Automatic or Manual .... values such as MANUAL and RECURRING indicates entries that were created directly in General Ledger Module...
Also in the GL_JE_LINES table, for GL_SL_LINK_ID and GL_SL_LINK_TABLE coumns, the column values would be NULL/Blank, since these columns normally contains reference to the base transaction in the subledger ....for a manual transaction there wont be a reference to subledger, hence they would remain as blank ..

  • How to identify what are all the events are created in background jobs?

    Hi all,
how to identify what are all the events are created for  background jobs. And what events gets triggered for a particular job.
    thanxs
    haritha

    Hi Haritha,
JOB is a program which starts to a determined point of time and executes some standard programs in the system. JOBs can be planed to a determined point of time on the regular basis (every night, for example) or to some discret time moments. So, the JOB can be planed and then will be started automatically without the manual start.
Realtime programs are understood in the most cases as actual program execution which is started by somebody to the actual moment of time.
Typically per JOBs some special processes will be started that should be executed automatically and regularly: for example, IDOC application, some correction reports, statistic updates etc.
Standard jobs are those background jobs that should be run regularly in a production SAP System These jobs are usually jobs that clean up parts of the system, such as by deleting old spool requests.
    Use
As of Release 4.6C, the Job Definition transaction ( sm36 ) provides a list of important standard jobs, which you can schedule, monitor, and edit.
Standard jobs are those background jobs that should be run regularly in a production SAP System. These jobs are usually jobs that clean up parts of the system, such as by deleting old spool requests.
for more information you can go thru the following thread:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/24/b884388b81ea55e10000009b38f842/frameset.htm
    About Events:
Events have meaning only in the background processing system. You can use events only to start background jobs.
Triggering an event notifies the background processing system that a named condition has been reached. The background processing system reacts by starting any jobs that were waiting for the event.
    Types of Events:
There are two types of events:
1.)System events are defined by SAP. These events are triggered automatically when such system changes as the activation of a new operation mode take place.
2.)User events are events that you define yourself. You must trigger these events yourself from ABAP or from external programs. You could, for example, signal the arrival of external data to be read into the SAP system by using an external program to trigger a background processing event. The event scheduler processes an event if the event is defined in the system.
For example, if a system (System 1) receives an event from another system (System 2), the event scheduler of System 1 processes the event only if it is defined in System 1. That event does not need to be defined in System 2 (the sending system).
You define an event by assigning a name (EVENTID) to it. When defining an event, you do not define the event arguments.
for more information you can go thru the following thread:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/fa/096e2a543b11d1898e0000e8322d00/frameset.htm
When you schedule the process chain or infopackages the jobs associated with it run in the background mode. In case you want to create a job for a specific activity you can do so in SM36. You would be creating jobs that would get executed in any one of the options:
    1. Immediate
    2. Date & Time
    3. After event.
    4. After job.
    5. At Operation mode.
In case you want to view the job logs go to sm37.
Also Pls check DB02 for database performance and ST03 for workload .

  • How to identify the right extractor

    hi all,
i have a custom extractor(ABAP report) to pull the Std cost info into BW from R/3. I would like to remove this custom extractor and go for a generic one. Can anyone provide me the steps on how to identify the appropriate generic extractor.
i know the underlying tables names....eg KEKO, KEPH etc

    Hi Vinod,
There will no appropriate generic extractor as such. Generic Extration itself means creating a custom extractor. All you need to do is
1.Goto RSO2, select the type of datasource(i.e transaction or Masterdata)
      and click on create
    2. Specify the table name, ( if you are pulling data from two tables then you have to create a view at Tcode se11, then you need specify that view here)
    3. click on generate
    This will generate the datasource
You can refer the following doc for further assistance,

  • How to identify whether a TCode is for SAP query or for a customized TCode

    Hi,
We have a list of TCodes starting with Y_*
Some of these TCodes could be related to SAP Queries and some could be real custom transactions. How do I find out which one of those are related to SAP queries and which ones are related to custom SAP transactions?
I have already checked table TSTC for the program names of these Transactions, but the program name field (PGMNA) is blank. Also in TCode SE93 the transaction mentioned is START_REPORT. Also for some, when I go to the transaction (Y_*) and then environment->status to check the program name the values found are something like AQ11FI==========F10A==========.
Please help on how to identify whether a TCode is actually for an SAP query or for a customized transaction.
    Thanks in advance.
    Mick

    Thanks Anil.
In TSTC, the filed for program name is blank. Therefore I would have to go to each and every transaction (I  have around 250 Y_* TCodes with me) and then to environment->status to get the program name and then check whether it is A......
Is there any easier way to know whether a TCode refers to an SAP query or a custom developed transactions/program.
    Mick

  • How to identify the program in which an enhanncement spot should be included?

How to identify the program in which an enhanncement spot should be included? For example I want to validate VA02 for USER authorization. So an enhancement spot should be written in program MV45AFZB. How do you identify this program ?

It depends on where you need to place your modification, the enhancement will be assigned to main program,
if you need to place in an include used by several program you need to make sure which main program is used by your transaction.
In the case of MV45AFZB, the main program is SAPMV45A, but it's easy as this include is used only there,

  • How to identify relevant BADIs to hide a screen field from specific users

We have a business requirement to hide a document item field (BSEG-XREF3) from specific users (i.e make the field invisible if the userid does not exist in a Z table) during FI invoice entry/maintenance/display via transactions FB01, FB02, FB03, FV50, FV60, FBV0, etc..  We know that it would be possible to do this via modification to the Process Before Output sections of LF040O00, LFDCBFM0, MF05AO00_DYNPRO_MODIFIZIEREN, MF05LO00, but would prefer to avoid modification if possible.
I believe that BADIs could possibly be used for screen enhancements, but have not had any previous exposure to BADIs, so I'm really not sure whether it's possible to use BADIs for our specific requirement.  For example, using the advice given in the 2nd post in thread BADI for contract, I've searched SAPMF05A for all 'CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_instance' statements, and have found that a single BADI (FBAS_CIN_MF05AFA0 - EWT - Downpayment Clearing - Tax transfer for CIN) seems to exist for FB01.  The description of this BADI sounds completely inappropriate for our requirement.  However, subsequent posts in that thread suggest far more BADIs for the relevant transaction than were given when searching the ABAP for all 'CALL METHOD cl_exithandler=>get_instance' statements, so I'm not convinced that the procedure I'm following will provide me with all the relevant BADIs for the transaction.
Please can you advise me how to identify which BADIs - if any - can be used to control screens before output for FB01 screen SAPMF05A/332 (SAP R/3 4.6C)?
    Many thanks in anticipation,
    Jules

    Hi Kuntal,
Thank you very, very much for your prompt response and very useful alternative suggestion.
The screen variant solution would be invaluable under different circumstances, but would be too complex to administer for this particular issue because we're trying to hide the field from unauthorised users in over 100 invoice entry/maintenance/display transactions.
We can make a Process Before Output modification to 4 SAP standard programs (LF040O00, LFDCBFM0, MF05AO00_DYNPRO_MODIFIZIEREN, MF05LO00) to make the field invisible for unauthorised users (i.e. whose user-ids are not in a Z* table), but would prefer to avoid modification if we could use BADIs instead.  You've said that you're not sure how we can identify the relevant BADIs, but I very much appreciate the suggestion you've made anyway - it might be useful to others who find themselves in a similar situation for a more limited number of transactions.
Please can someone advise me how to identify which BADIs - if any - can be used to control screens before output for FB01 screen SAPMF05A/332 (SAP R/3 4.6C)?
    Many thanks,
    Jules
