Dear Deava,
During an implementation project you follow 5 phase.
1.Project preparation: In this you will know your team members and you will have kick meeting. You will decide the time frame for the project also.
2.Blue print: In this stage you will map the business scenarion.The client will give the requirement(AS-IS) and you will map in sap(TO-BE). If there is any development you need to do the GAP analysis.
3.Realization/Testing:In this stage you will configure in the development server and test the configuration you have made in quality server.
4.Final preparation: In this stage your configuration is done . You will get the sign off from project manager.
5.Go live & Support: In this stage you will upload all your developments in the production server.Then you will golive and stay in the client place for sometime for support and solving few queries.
The above 5 stages are followed in any project.

In the package explorer view or navigator view right click on the build file select "Run as / Ant Build ...". On the JRE Tab you can enter the VM Aguments like -Xmx512m
Consult the java dokumentation how to set the memory of the jvm.

Soooo...I need to install OID on top of my Forms, Reports, and Discoverer install? Would it be better to install the SSO and OID before installing any other middle ware products like Forms, Reports, and Discoverer? Then extend the domain to include Forms, Reports, and Discoverer?

How to display Issues for the projects which user can view in the Project Center View

In the project center view, at the bottom, we need to add one table, which can show the Issues for the projects that are displayed in the project center view.(Projects visible to the current user).
Example: A resource 1 can see the Projects Project 1, Project 2,Project 3 in the project center view. So resource 1 should be able to see all the issues that are entered against the Project 1, Project 2, Project 3, irrespective of the issue that has
been assigned to any resource.

Hi,
You could simply edit the page and add the risks and issues webparts. This will display risks and issues assigned to the user.
Click on edit page, then add webpart. In the Project We App section, pick up the risk webpart and then the issue webpart. Finally drag them to the bottom of the page and close the page.

1) Should i create 2 projects or one project in the CVS ?

Determine how much to allocate for /etc/project

Question on how to determine how much resources a particular is actually being used on a solaris 10 server because I don't want to over allocate, esp for max-shm-memory to a particular project.
Current setting in /etc/project
user.test:101:Test project:::project.max-sem-ids=(privileged,1024,deny);project.max-sem-nsems=(privileged,512,deny);project.max-shm-ids=(privileged,512,deny);project.max-shm-memory=(privileged,2048000000,deny)

I did ipcs -b and added the values in column 7 of the shared memory section to determine the amount of shared memory used.

How to set paths for bc4j Project in release 2

I have a workspace with 2 projects 1 bc4j and the other contains my jsps etc
They were created in JDev9i RC
I have recreated my connections in release 2
I have opened the projects in Release 2 I am trying to run the bc4j Project to test if all is working in release 2 and I got a whole host of errors like:
-jsp files must reside in the server root directory or a subdirectory beneath it
-cannot access directory javax\servlet\jsp : verify that directory is reachable from classpath and \or sourcepath
-cannot access class oracle.jsp.runtime.HttpJsp : file oracle\jsp\runtime\Http.Class not found
It seems like there is something I need to specify in the classpath /path
but I am not sure what

The bc4j project compiles and runs fine now
but I am still getting a runtime error
when I run the jsp project
the error is
JBO-33001: Cannot find the configuration file /IntranetPackage2/common/bc4j.xcfg in the classpath
I have tried including that path in the java source path but still no effect
It appears there is a little snag at each step of the way

You can create item inside your LOV region, set the item style to formValue. You can associate this to a View Object field. It can also act as mirror of any other text input field.
FormValue can hold the value and will not be diaplyed to user. You can read value from it controller
example
OAFormValueBean orgValue = (OAFormValueBean)webBean.findChildRecursive("OrgIdFormVal");
Or you can read it fro the VO associated with this form value.

How do I compress for HD projection?

I need to deliver a movie to Alaska that will be projected in HD to "fairly large audiences." Sorry to be so vague, but the movie will travel to various venues and potentially be used on a variety of projectors. The movie was edited in FCPX 10.1 in 1920 x 1080p, 23.98p. I will be using Compressor 4.1 on an early 2013 MacBookPro Retina. Thanks!

But I think maybe I gave the wrong impression with my post. My not-for-profit "movies" are generally 15 to 35 minute documentaries that are played from a laptop through an HD projector. Not a professional theater. Often in churches or schools. (If you have 3.5 mins., here's a an example: Klawock Carving Shed Project.)
So delivering a .mov file will be sufficient. I just didn't know which compression settings would give the best quality AND also be delivered by UPS to the end user on something like a flash drive or a small laptop drive. This specific doc is 36 minutes long. I have exported a Master File from FCPX (ProRes 422). The file size is 30.02GB.
Since most of my stuff is viewed on the interweb, classic Vimeo 720p works fine.

How do I search for a PROJECT name?

I go to Find>Other Data>Project>includes>{string}, but it doesn't find the string (which I know exists).
I've tried this from Library, All Photos, and from Blue Folders that contain projects. Doesn't find anything.
Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks.

I put in a feature request for a "spotlight" type feature in the Projects Inspector. Please do the same.
If I remember which folder I put it in, I don't need to search for it.
Also the method above just displays the images from that project. It doesn't tell me precisely where the project is located.
