How is it possible to extend pattern chars valid for Date formatting?

I need to represent Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH and Calendar.MONTH date fields in one symbol (1,2,3,..,9,A,B,C,D..) and keep working standard patterns
SimpleDateFormart doesn't give such possibility.
In a result i want to have something like that:
ExtDateFormat edf = new ExtDateFormat("yyyy/B/C"); // where B - is month in (1,2,3,..,9,A,B,C), C - is day in (1,2,3,..,9,A,B,C..)
System.out.println(edf.format(Calendar.getInstance().getTime())); // prints something like "2008/03/D"

You can extend the wireless range of the AirPort with a D-Link or the other way around ... BUT only if the connection between them is wired. This would be the basis of a roaming network. If you must have them interconnected by wireless, then it will NOT work.

If you click VIEW/SHOW PLAYHEAD INFO, you will see the timecodes as you scrub. (Consumer timecodes, not pro timecodes).
This works if you imported your footage from a camcorder, either miniDV or AVCHD.
However, if you have imported an analog file, or saved a DV file to a QuickTime File, you may just see the file creation date in VIEW PLAYHEAD.
However, there is a trick to getting even these clips to display timecodes if you know the start time.
First pick a clip. Make a copy and drag it to your desktop, just so you don't lose anything.
Rename this copy in the following format clip-yyyy-mm-dd hh;mm;ss.current file extension.
For example, clip-2001-07-14 09;30;45.mov (note the space between the day and the hour)
This would be a .mov clip that starts with the first frame at July 14, 2001 at 9:30:45 AM
Then import the clip into iMovie. You now have timecodes at the playhead.

But the title is meant to say "DATEACQUIRED" but it only says "DATEACQUI"
Does anyone know if it is possible to extend the title without using VARCHAR, thanks

In SQL*Plus, you can set the width of a DATE column the same way you do it for a VARCHAR2.

How to fomat a number cell to show up in Date format in FR in 11.1.1.3

I developed a Financial Report using Essbase connection (Cannot create as Planning connection due to some restraints).
I have a date type field in the report.The cell is displaying 20120123 which is fine since I am using the Essbase connection. But I would like it to be in a Date format (1/23/12) .
Does anyone know as to how can I do this or its even possible ?

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can)

HFM Extended Analytics Extract - Only for Data at Review Level 6 and up?

Hello, I have a requirement to Extract Data from HFM as Flat Files in order for them to be picked up by a separate process.
In order to do this I have used Extended Analytics to create the extracts I require.
The issue I have is that users are only supposed to be able to extract data that has been approved up to Review Level 6 and above, and at the moment they can choose any POV regardless of the Review Level the combination of the 4 dimensions has.
Is there a recommended or easy way to achieve this?
I have looked into a few possibilities including:
1. Restricting the LOV drop-downs (via re-creating metadata via a custom script)
2. Having a process "catch" the fact that the POV is not approved upon export (perhaps using a taskflow with a "Process Management Action" stage, or by creating a Rule that can be applied to the EA Exract?)
3. Including in the Extracted data file a "header" row with the POV Review Level value (so the next process in the chain can handle validating this)
4. A custom API method
I am quite in-experienced with HFM so any advice or pointers would be very much appreciated.

Doesn't EIS require a parent-child/recrusive table for the dimensions? If it could read HFM EA's tables as they are natively organized, then I guess EIS would be an approach although unfortunately it is not possible in the environment in question. I am at a loss as to why HFM EA doesn't output tables as required for Essbase, especially given the Essbase option in exporting, but it is what it is.
I got an answer over on Network54 suggesting how to build those tables in Oracle. Again, unfortunately, I'm in a SS 2000 environment so that means extra work for my SQL resource as I think it requires a stored procedure (am not, never have, and will likely never claim to have more than a 'SELECT * FROM' level of SQL knowledge) but at least it's a start.
The original thought I had was to get these Essbase-ready parent-child dimension tables and build the cubes from them. Are you interested in EIS because it has better automation?

Char limit for .mov format?

Originally posted in the iTunes for Mac forum but to no avail; I would really like to know if there is a char limit in the comments fields of the movie .mov format? When typing in comments for a .mov I find that only a certain amount save leading me to believe either:
a) iTunes enforces a char limit
b) .mov has a char limit
Either way its a disaster for my media handling, I'm quite verbose.

Hamper..don't hold your breath for a fix since 255 sounds horribly like a limit defined by the underlying architecture... Chances are that there is a single data byte that is used to tell iTunes just how many characters there are in the Comments field. As you may/may not know, one byte can only record a max of 255 characters.

I am a newcomer, with no experience in Apex, and in need of help.
I have to generate a report with some read-only columns and two write columns. These will be the result of a SQL query.
For the sake of robustness in data entry, a row has to be selected prior to data update. The document specifies that a radiobutton for each row be present, and the corresponding row selected accordingly by clicking its radiobutton. There could be any number of rows returned in the report, which means that the number of radiobuttons will vary dynamically according to the number of returned rows.
1. So my question is, how do I construct the page to do this? Please remember I am a newbie, so detail will be appreciated.
2. Another question is, how do I change the fonts and colours of the names displayed along with the listboxes?

How to use HTML or XML described visual forms for data entry in Java app?

We are considering to use HTML as a mean of configuration for visual content and layout of data entry dialogs in our Java GUI applications. Java program will need to be able to populate/collect data into/from dialog controls. I am guessing that JEditorPane and FormView classes could be used for this but I have not figured out yet how to do this.
I would really appreciate any help you could provide with respect to this. Please share any tips, utilities, references, etc. Maybe one can suggest non-HTML (e.g. XML, UIML, ...) way to achieve the same requirements and recommend some utilities respectively.

I have no clue what you are talking about that you have seen on YouTube, but you cannot run two apps side by side on the iPad. You can double tap the home button to get the the recents tray and tap on another to launch it, or you can swipe with 4 fingers across the screen to move from app to app if you have multitasking gestures enabled in Settings>General>Multitasking Gestures>On.

Help!......Is it possible to perform automatic code validation for Teststand?

I work for a UK Aerospace company supplying a Control Module for use in a Computer used on a modern fighter aircraft.
My main role is in the design of the Control Module, however I have recently taken an interest in exactly how the board is tested by the ATE.
The ATE is used to sequence Production Acceptance Testing, and we have been asked by our customers, both internal and external, to perform a 'Code Walkthrough' of the Teststand code ......Tedioussss!!!!!
The 'Code walkthrough' is required to check that the Teststand software and associated hardware, is doing what it should do.
As a company, we produce Level A control software to DO178B, Level A, however we don't have much experience in Code Validation of Test Software.
We have Teststand ver 2.0 running on the ATE, and want to know if there are any auotmatic code validation techniques, either for this version of Teststand or any of the updated versions. Specifically we need to perform a 'Code walkthrough' of the software.
Any help would be appreciated, since we have an iminent delivery deadline.

I talked to some TestStand developers the other day and mentioned that I would love to have a tool to run to perform a check of the parameters for each step. You can presently step through them and they will each show any parameter problems. I mentioned that in LabVIEW, this automatically happend when you open the VI and the run arrow breaks if there is a connector pane change or a datatype change (if it is no longer compatible). I would like to see a tool in TestStand to run an analysis on a sequence that would show these problems at edit-time, instead of run-time. I think such a tool would be a good start toward what you are looking for.

To connect to non-Oracle databases from SQL*Developer youneed to download the relevant JDBC driver.
This is detailed in the documentation in the User Guide -

I am new to Windows Server 2008 R2 administration.
I would like to know is there a way to do Regional Setting Configuration in RDP session. i.e Date Format, Currency, Decimal Separator etc are based on users local machine.
Eg If a user from UK logs in he should see date format as DD/MM/YY and if user from US logs in he should date format as MM/DD/YY.
We are currently using citrix and we are managing this using logon script that runs based on citrix published application name.
Is there any way we can achieve the same in RDP ?
