How long is my auth token valid?

In php when I call $session->getAuthenticationToken, I get an authentication token returned to me. How long is that auth token valid for?
I ask because I was reading the docs on webcamPublisher and under connectSession it says: "re-sessioning of components is not supported.". So if my session expires and I want to connect again then in addition to creating a new session I also need to destroy my old webcamPublisher and create a new one. Am I understanding that correctly?

A room session ends a few minutes after all users have left.
Currently there is no way to make the duration of a token, but you can invalidate the session by calling AccountManager.invalidateSession(session).
Note that invalidating the session doesn't stop users that are already in a room, only users entering or re-entering the room.
I think we should really provide a "stop room" method, that kicks all users out of the room and invalidate the session. It's in our todo list but not too hight in priority right now.

we are currently planning to show Microsoft RMS to potential Clients with a live demo and so on. In our preparations we noticed that users are able to be authenticated eventhough there is no connection to the cloud Service. We also figured out that some
kind of cache (more specific: parts of the certificates) is stored in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\MSIPC, but it's quite intransparent how the cache is used and for how long the locally cached token is valid for a specific RMS protected
file. In order to be prepared for such questions after the demo, I kindly ask you for help on this matter.

Hi Fabio,
When a user first authenticates against the certification URL of an RMS server, the user is than issued a RAC (rights account certificate) or GIC certificate (those that you see in MSIPC folder). RAC/GIC is issued after user authenticates to the domain and
is used with further communication between user->RMS server to confirm users' identity. For ADRMS (RMS on premises) the default RAC lifetime is 365 days (it can be manually changed). I would assume that the same amount time is set for Azure RMS.

How long a CS6 product key is valid?

Early this year I received as a gift a retail copy of CS6 Master Collection for Windows which came with the product key (serial number). I have not installed it yet on any computer. How long in the future is this product key valid? Can I install this CS6 copy a year or two from now? Will this product key be still valid at that time or does it have a time limit? Wil I be able to activate it after installation in the future?
     I do realize that Adobe does not support CS6 anymore, no updates, but the question is not whether I want to move to Creative Cloud subscription. The question is how long I can wait with the CS6 installation.

The CS6 serial number will be valid as long as Adobe servers used to activate the product are still running. In other words, CS6 products were perpetual licensed and so they are valid as long as you wish to use them.
It is interesting that you don't want to use for another year or two. Any reasons for this? In two years time we might have completely different technology so you may want to use the new technology rather than the old one.
Any way you should be alright in two years time.

Congratulations: then you are Oracle Internet Application Developer Rel. 6i OCP for life (unless Oracle changes it rules or you were to break an agreement and get decertified ... hopefully both are unlikley). Unfortunately there will undoubtably be less and less Forms 6i about, so it will become less relevant.
However ... I believe 1z0-140 may be able to upgrade you if you like.

How long can Validating System Tables Post Import really take?

We imported a large transport set (25GB) into a target environment and it ran for about 40 hours and got to the last step Validating System Tables Post Import..., which is essentially executing the Schema Validation Utility (SVU).
At that point it seemed to get stuck, as we let it run for 24 hours and nothing was added to the log and it didn't fail and it didn't complete.
This does not seem reasonable. How long can this possibly take? Can we safely stop the process and run the SVU independently?

My habit is to save and close all files before sleeping, and shut down at the last percent if I knew I wasn't going to be able to charge within a few hours. My open files and current work is to valuable for me to have the computer sleep right in the middle of whatever I was doing, and the health of my OS is too important to me to ignore the possibility of a hard shutdown.
I do not know for a fact that the machine executes a hard shutdown, or actually does a proper shutdown sequence when it knows a hard shutdown is immenent.

I cannot upload photos from iPhoto 9 to Flikr. When I attempt to do so, I get the message "the login details or auth token passed were invalid." Please help.

My computer is a MacBook Pro. I do not have this trouble with my iMac. This trouble started before I updated to OS10.9.5. I do not have this problem when uploading to FaceBook or sending by e-mail.
This problem started when I tried to upload some photos after hitting the "use other account" tab. This took me to a Flikr site asking me for permission to make my iPhoto information available to others. I clicked "yes," and then I changed my mind and clicked "no." I haven't been able to upload to Flikr since.
I searched Flikr and Yahoo for a solution, and Yahoo says the trouble is in iPhoto. I checked my Flikr account, and iPhoto extensions are enabled.
I need to upload some school and alumni photos, so I sure could use some help. I am Not computer proficient. Thank you.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.

I wanted to know about Apple Care / Extended warranty that is available for sth like ~15K (INR).

Can I buy this before the day my current/default warranty expires or shall I have to buy this within some stipulated period from the day of purchase of my Mac?

let me start with saying that the question you ask may not help you to determine the duration of your project. As Ryan and others stated the duration of the project is highly dependent on the scope of the solution you are implementing, geographical scope, amount of modifications/enhancements, number of languages, number of users that need to be trained, amount of standard processes customer is able to re-use in the implementation and many other factors (like quality of implementation contractor you will chose and availability of customer and implementors resources). I can probably go on for another couple lines, but I guess you get the idea.
With that out of the way let's talk about some example implementations that will give you an idea - Ryan did great job outlining what I would call traditional approach above. I have couple examples where customers leveraged innovative deployment strategies that are available today. In particular the project teams leveraged pre-packaged services like RDS, World Template or Best Practices as their baseline solution and they built from there. Second acceleration technique customers now leverage is the deployment in the SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud to accelerate the time to initial setup of the system and thus move from traditional blueprinting to scope validation exercise that further shortens the time. There are other acceleration techniques we see applied in some cases like use of iterative implementation of the delta requirements on top of the baseline solution.
Let me offer few examples to illustrate what I explained above:
ERP implementation at Schaidt Innovations with 3 months long deployment of ERP solution using ERP RDS as a baseline (you can view their testimonial here - Schaidt Innovations: SAP ERP on HANA in the cloud - YouTube)
Customer in Asia with global template deployment that leveraged SAP ERP for Manufacturing with deployment to cloud and 9 countries rollout (Japan, Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, UK, Germany and US). The initial deployment took 4 months for first country and 2 months for rollout into the additional 8 countries - so total of 6 months. The original plan using traditional approach with full blueprint and heavy configuration was estimated to be more than double of the actual deployment time.
There are many other examples where customers follow the assemble-to-order delivery model for their project and gain significant benefits doing so. I suggest you to review some of the recordings we did in 2013 about this approach and if you are member of ASUG review the Agile ASAP sessions we did for ASUG PM SIG.

If the device was not purchased in the US, an Apple store in the US will not touch it.

Install new Apache module - mod-auth-token?

How long after submitting a podcast does it show in iTunes?

I submitted a podcast last Thursday, its Tuesday now and it is still not on iTunes. How long does it usually take?

Several days is normal, plus yesterday's holiday will slow it up a bit as well.
Is the author tag in your feed file contain a valid e-mail address? Apple will respond only to that address if it finds a problem in the feed file. Check the spam holding area too if the account has one.

How long is "a while"?

I'm installing NOWS-SBE 2.5. It completed all the file copying, and the network configuration, so I'm in the browser on a workstation and entered all three keys, and it says "Product update data is also downloading. This may take a while."
It's already been quite a while, to my thinking (over an hour). How long should this take?

Something that I found with the customer center setup and the validation process.
Log in customer center prior to attempting to activate the product keys, verify that the keys are actually correct.
If the system is already up and working, yet doesn't have that system listing on the customer center with a recent check-in date, re-enter your keys via the SBE console, not any other way.
Make sure to type the KEYS in ALL CAPS!!!! Double verify the keys prior to running the verification.
You'll find that either the system will show up after less than an hour, or you will have to enter the system manually. If it takes over 30 minutes, login and check your customer center via that server on another window or tab. The hard part is that if you are on SBE version under 2.5, the connection may not login, update, and terminate via the server effectively, you will have to stop the browser, restart the server and do it again.
Delete the invalid systems only, if there are any on your system tabs in the customer center.
Also, make sure your connection NIC(s) all have on the general tab, the MTU set to 1500 vice blank, even though it is supposed to default to 1500, it doesn't all the time. Of course, if you require a larger number, than place it in the block.
There was some issue with various ISPs' on variations on the MTU, but almost all are set for 1500 now.
Try this, see if it helps.
