How make table name 3 lines instead of one

I figured out how to add a title to a table, but cannot make the title in two or more rows, only one. How can I create table name with three rows. I hope someone can answer this question and also tell me how to do the same thing before putting data in the table, if that method is different. Thanks in advance

To emphasize a point SG is making: Title and Name have specific meanings with respect to Tables.
The table name should be as concise as possible, and ideally you should think of something more creative than Table 1 so that it means something down the road. Concise because the name will be used in any formula referencing one table from another. Meaningful because it will help you to get your equations working properly if they trigger special associations. There is a checkbox in the Format Pane, Table tab, where you can choose to display the table name above the table, or not.
Titles are the text applied to Header cells, either in a Header Row or Header Column. These identifiers specify the Fields of the table. The Header text can be used in formulas but is best left as a simple visual cue. There is a Preference in Numbers Preferences, General, where you can choose to use Header text in equations. In my opinion this option is best left off.

Change the AngledLine class to store two points instead of 3 points (I would rename the class to be StraightLine). The code is much simpler because you just store the starting and ending points and you don't need to calculate the middle point.

How to display mapviewer labels in two lines instead of one?

I have been using the addJDBCTheme to display the map along with the labels as follows:
mapviewer.addJDBCTheme("aaa","a", "SELECT geom, col1 || ':' || col2 label_value from table_name","GEOM","","styleName","label_value","T.ROAD NAME" ,false);
So the label is displayed as col1Value:col2Value.
Now I need to display the label as follows:
col1Value
col2Value
I tried using this
mapviewer.addJDBCTheme("aaa","a", "SELECT geom, col1 || chr(10) || col2 label_value from table_name","GEOM","","styleName","label_value","T.ROAD NAME" ,false);
But it doesnt work. This displays col1Valuecol2Value
So I tried using this:
mapviewer.addJDBCTheme("aaa","a", "SELECT geom, col1 label_value from table_name UNION ALL SELECT geom, col2 label_value from table_name","GEOM","","styleName","label_value","T.ROAD NAME" ,false);
This actually works. Meaning it displays the label in two lines. But the two lines are almost attached together, there is no space between them at all. It is sometimes very difficult to read.
Would really appreciate any suggestions to resolve this issue.
Is there any other solution to display a label in two lines? I tried changing the label style to set the line-height. But that does'nt work either.

Since we have a problem with Performance issue in Our ITS machine(Wgate & Agate) and I already install separate ITS machine (Wgate & Agate) but how i can joint the second ITS machine to existing system ?
because now the all user only pointing to one url http://hostnames/cripts/wgate/pzm3/! that belong the Old machine and we don't want another link to new machine.
Can any body help me Please ?

Check the CPU utilization during the peak load period if this is high then you have to go for a new system. But if your CPU utilization is low and you have enough physical memory then you can add a AGate process to improve performance.
<b>Check the memory utilised by your ITS server.</b> This should no way cross 2 GB on a 32 bit Windows system. You have the formula to do this in ITS tuning guide. If you want just reply back and i will put it up.
By getting to know how much memory your ITS server utilises, processor utilization at OS level, and physical memory available a better architecture can be deduced.

Why is table name being appended with a one?

I use to use CR10 and recently upgraded to CR2008. When I add tables to a report it is appending a '1' to the name. So tablename of Orderheader becomes Orderheader1.

It's likely due to.... in CR 10 we were more relaxed on ANSII 92 standards but with time and to resolve all issues we now fully support the Standard. Previously a lot of the database drivers were not following the rules so we had to "hack" our code to fix their problem. No more, it was too much to maintain, they could change their driver at any time so it broke CR again.
The capital in the name was likely also causing problems. There are a few option either in CR Designer or the ODBC driver to make the case sensitive so it uses what ever is in the DB. But depending on the driver depends on if CR can use it or ignore it.
I think in this case you are going to have to make the change manually unless PG updates their driver and follow the standards. That driver is likely quite old now.
You could report it to Progress to see if they can update it....
Bottom line is it's not CR causing the problem, we just found the problem once we follow the rules.
It may be something we can fix but it is considered a minor issue, and potential not a CR bug, so it would likely take a long time to patch.

You should probably using ReadKey, such as:

How can IWD_VALUE_HELP return multiple values, instead of one

Hello expert,
I have requirement to use F4 help to return multiple values to the using WD component. Basically in my main WD component, I have a View where I have a list box, this list box has a F4 assigned to it, clicking on the F4 brings up hte F4 help, in the F4 help, user can select multiple values which should be returned to my main component / view to be displayed in the list box.
I'd implement IWD_VALUE_HELP to create my own F4 help component. However I have difficulty to return multiple values. As I understand there is only way to return data from F4 help to the calling Main WD component / view:
Item_LISTENER->F4_CONTEXT_ELEMENT->set_attribute( name = 'MYATTRName' value = myvalue).
Do you guys know how to archive what is required here?

Hello Jayson,
the element reference that is passed into the IWD_VALUE_HELP implementing component is the element of the calling application's context.
Therefore you can use methods like
IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT->GET_NODE
(to get the parent node of the element) and
IF_WD_CONTEXT_ELEMENT->GET_CHILD_NODE
to get access to other parts of the context.
say for example your value help should populate a pop-in table with multiple entries.
your application allows you to choose a type of ice-cream cone and then to choose the flavour of ice-cream (multi selection)has a structure like:
Context_root
--> List_of_ice_creams (0..n)
>Ice_cream_flavours(1..n)
In the element of list_of_ice_creams you have an attribute "flavour" which links to your value help.
Choosing this value-help should allow you to select multiple flavours, return these and populate them into the sub-node Ice_cream_flavours.
Within your custom value help you can get a reference to the node Ice_cream_flavours by calling the method
lo_flavour_node = IItem_LISTENER->F4_CONTEXT_ELEMENT->GET_CHILD_NODE("ICE_CREAM_FLAVOURS"). You could then populate this in you value help component.
As I mentioned - this isn't great as it means the value help cannot really be used elsewhere as it has a dependency on the structure of the calling context. But that may not be an issue for you.

SE16: Syntax error in program "/1BCDWB/DB table name "

Hello experts,
I am facing one problem with SE16 transaction code. I am getting a dump saying 'Syntax error in program "/1BCDWB/DB<Z table name> ". SE16 is giving dump only for few Z tables and not for all.
We have created another transaction code ZZSE16 which resembles SE16 but with few authorizations.
I am getting similar dump with ZZSE16 also. But this time for all tables Z tables and standard tables.
It was working fine until yesterday. No code has been changed to the technical objects involved.
The dump says :
The following syntax error occurred in program "/1BCDWB/DB<table name> " in
include "/1BCDWB/DB<table name> " in
line 1060:
"The field "%_ENQU_<table name>" is unknown.
This is occurring in so many boxes with different landscapes.
In some boxes it is working fine. The program "/1BCDWB/DB<table name> " has no field starting with %_ENQU. Instead at line 1060 the field is %_K<table name> which was defined.
Can anybody please help me in solving this? Thanks in advance.

Please try these:
Try to activate your Ztable from SE11. Of course you may see that the table is in active state, but still try to activate it.
While activating the table if you get a pop-up saying "Display activation errors and warnings" (the message may be not exactly same) the click on No button.
Now go to transaction SE14 (Database utility), provide table name and press enter
Select Processing type as Direct, choose radio button Save data and click on "Activate and adjust database" button.
You will get a pop-up with message "Request: Adjust". Click Yes button.
Once it is completed, you can try opening the table in SE16.

How do you type multiple lines on a path? (label for top slope of bottle)

Ill describe the best I can...
I am making a label that will wrap around the top half of a bottle, the part that slopes to the spout. Because of this, the label is actually shaped more like an arch so when it goes onto the bottle, it will look more straight. The top part of the label of course will be a tighter arch than the bottom half. This is part of why its hard to make things look right. I know I can bend a line at the same angle and type on it and it looks right but I have a paragragh I have to do this with, about 5 lines worth. I dont want to have to make a different path line for each one because that would be a nightmare to get each line perfect with each other. Is there a way to do the "type on a path" to work with multiple lines at once?

How do you scan continuous pages instead of one page at a time on the glass? I have tried to place the pages on top to feed through to scan and it will not scan at all.
