Why is table name being appended with a one?

I use to use CR10 and recently upgraded to CR2008. When I add tables to a report it is appending a '1' to the name. So tablename of Orderheader becomes Orderheader1.

It's likely due to.... in CR 10 we were more relaxed on ANSII 92 standards but with time and to resolve all issues we now fully support the Standard. Previously a lot of the database drivers were not following the rules so we had to "hack" our code to fix their problem. No more, it was too much to maintain, they could change their driver at any time so it broke CR again.
The capital in the name was likely also causing problems. There are a few option either in CR Designer or the ODBC driver to make the case sensitive so it uses what ever is in the DB. But depending on the driver depends on if CR can use it or ignore it.
I think in this case you are going to have to make the change manually unless PG updates their driver and follow the standards. That driver is likely quite old now.
You could report it to Progress to see if they can update it....
Bottom line is it's not CR causing the problem, we just found the problem once we follow the rules.
It may be something we can fix but it is considered a minor issue, and potential not a CR bug, so it would likely take a long time to patch.

To resolve issues with sending and receiving iMessages, follow these steps first

SAP BW structure/table name change issue with BODS Jobs promotion

Dear All, One of my client has issue with promotion of BODS jobs from one environment to another. They move SAP BW projects/tables along with BODS jobs (separately) from DEV to QA to Prod.
In SAP-BW the structures and tables get a different postfix when they are transported to the next environment. The promotion in SAP-BW (transport) is an automated process and it is the BW deployment mechanism that causes the postfixes to change. As a result with the transport from Dev to QA in SAP-BW we end up with table name changes (be they only suffixes), but this does mean that when we deploy our Data Services jobs we immediately have to change them for the target environments.
Please let me know if someone has deployed some solution for this.

This is an issue with SAP BW promotion process. SAP BASIS team should not turn on setting to suffix systemid with the table names during promotion.

How to remember the table names. I mean to ask if there is any meaningful content that we can form out of a table name. For example
MARA , VBAK, etc... what are their full forms..
Coming to the fileds in these tables like MATNR -- EBELN - BUKRS,etc..... how they are actually framed. Is there any full form or is there no alternative except to mug them up..

How make table name 3 lines instead of one

I figured out how to add a title to a table, but cannot make the title in two or more rows, only one. How can I create table name with three rows. I hope someone can answer this question and also tell me how to do the same thing before putting data in the table, if that method is different. Thanks in advance

To emphasize a point SG is making: Title and Name have specific meanings with respect to Tables.
The table name should be as concise as possible, and ideally you should think of something more creative than Table 1 so that it means something down the road. Concise because the name will be used in any formula referencing one table from another. Meaningful because it will help you to get your equations working properly if they trigger special associations. There is a checkbox in the Format Pane, Table tab, where you can choose to display the table name above the table, or not.
Titles are the text applied to Header cells, either in a Header Row or Header Column. These identifiers specify the Fields of the table. The Header text can be used in formulas but is best left as a simple visual cue. There is a Preference in Numbers Preferences, General, where you can choose to use Header text in equations. In my opinion this option is best left off.

Why is 6GB ram being used with barely anything going on?

So I'm looking at my Activity Monitor for the first time since I got the late 2013 Macbook Pro.
To my amazement it's showing 6GB being used or 75% of my 8GB?!
But looking at the activity monitor is showing that the highest ram use is Kernel Monitor at 600MB.
After that it's com.apple.ServiceAgent @ 170MB and Google Chrome at 140MB.
Than there are like 15 "Google Chrome Helpers" ranging from like 100-30MB. What in the world is "Google Chrome Helpers" this seems like some kind of operating system bug to me...
I have about 13 Google Chrome tabs open but even more Helpers than tabs in the Activity Monitor...
There's no way a small Google Chrome session should take up well over 1gb ram?!
Even still, if I estimate all the Memory usage displayed in my Activity monitor it should be low 2GB, defenitely less than 3GB.
So why is it saying 6GB in use? The MAC OS couldn't possibly be 3 GB right???
This is crazy and I've noticed my MAC is pretty sluggish today while I'm trying to work. What in the world is going on here?
Can I manually cancel all those " Google Chrome Helpers" for starters?
On Windows 7 I could have literally 100's of internet tabs open and see less than 6GB ram useage no joke! Need help here please.

That all sounds great in theory but I'm looking at my Activity Monitor right now and it says:
Compressed: 0 bytes
So it sounds like I'm not getting any of the benefits with the compression from that article?
My other stats are looking like:
App Memory: 3.41 GB
File Cache : 2.05 GB
Wired Memory: ~1GB
My memory pressure looks about 20% at least even with 6.65 GB active.
Is there a reason why I have no compressed memory? It sounds like that was the whole point of this system but it's not doing anything for me? Or does that only kick in once you use up all 8GB?
I'm not sure about all this. I've been a PC guy all my life and overall I'm EXTREMELY satisfied with both my macbook pro and the iPad air I just got. But I got this stuff so I can develope games for iOS using Unity 3D, and I need a laptop. So I didn't make this purchase for the heck of it, this is business to me. And recently I've noticed that Unity 3D and Monodevelop are becoming increasingly sluggish. Because I'm having some lag problems even with just using Monodevelop which is a simple IDE for my C# work, I have been trying to figure out what's the problem here.
Apparently lots of others are having trouble with Mac OS Maverick when using Unity 3D. I'm just hoping this stuff gets sorted out and doing my best to see if I can improve the performance.
Are there any guides for optimizing a macbook pro for faster performance? It's not acceptable for me to have lag while I work. Right now I'm trying to work only on the macbook pro so I get used to it and can hopefully work nearly as fast as the PC even without using duel monitors so I can work on the go.
Just such a big difference from PC where I am quite profficient. On MAC I have no clue what I can do to fix lag.
Is there a way to modify what progams launch on start up similar to on PC typing "msconfig" in start bar allows you to edit this kind of thing?
Unity 3D is a pretty big deal for iOS and MAC development so hopefully if it is just some kind of code problems with Unity and Maverick this get's sorted out ASAP. Until then I'm doing my best to see if there's any thing I can do on my end.
The huge RAM usage was a big red flag to me on first glance, but I guess you guys are saying this is fine. Still seems strange to me how much RAM is being used, on PC I can't imagine ever needing more than 8GB Ram, on Mac it seems like this could be pretty easy to accomplish, which explains why there is 16GB RAM models which to me seemed excessive.
So I'm guessing it's normal to have that many "Google Chrome Helpers" active at once?

Why are Contact Forms being pounded with SPAM?

Is anyone else experience an unusually high volume of SPAM in thier contact forms?
I have two clients getting pounded with SPAM.

The spam stopped once we applied the filters for the Comments and the Akismet is sitting there in the system now so they just need to fully role out the control into forms which will do a lot.
The Amazing thing with that which I need to check with the engineers that I thought is that BC is run by BC, so if they are using Akismet I want to check to see if they are pooling all the spam filters applied on all BC sites into one central database that ALL sites have access too. If they are doing this - SWEET, if not I am going to suggest they do.
THat would mean if your being spammed what you block will mean sites I build will not get those same spam and so on.
Making the captcha more secure agaisnt OCR will make them harder to use so there is negatives you got to weigh up.

Why is contact name now appearing with New Text Message notification?

How do I get the contact name to not appear when I'm notified I have a new text? It used to just say something like "New Text Message." This is happening when my phone is locked.

This was part of the new 2.2 update. There is no setting to turn this off.

Why does disc show as filled with only one small file added?

I'm also new to Apple. I've a MacBook Pro - Snow Leopard 10.6.8. I've checked the documentation and help information and followed the instructios. The blank CD-R shows as (CD-R; BLANK - Yes; ERASEABLE - Yes; OVERWRITABLE - Yes; APPENDABLE- yes). I wrote one small file to the CD using the Burn Folder. The file was on the CD, but all available space was used with zero remaining. The disc is not erasable. One response to an earlier question to look for multisesson recorder and select leave disc appendable or look for a triangle in top right. Could not find this. I'm sure this is another area where I'm just looking in the wrong place for instruction. Any help is appreciated.

Note, you will likely have to start with a new blank CD. Once burnt without appendability selected, it often can't be appended in the future.

Greek Text Not Displaying Properly (Characters being replaced with different ones)

Hi,
I am using Adobe Photoshop CS3. I have a spreadsheet of Greek translations. When I copy and paste the text into Photoshop, certain characters are missed out or replaced with an incorrect one. I have tried downloading fonts that support the Greek character set, but still no luck. If I paste this text into any other applications (Word, explorer etc) the text displays properly. I was wandering if there is a setting or anything in photoshop that I need to change? It seems to be an issue with this application only.

Have you tried to set your system language to a European setting, e.g. Ireland or UK? Seems like an issue with incorrect Unicode conversion. Also turn off OpenType features for automated glyph replacement in the menu of the Character palette...

Bug With Quoted Table Names?

I think I've encountered a bug in Oracle 9.2.0.1.0. If I create table with its name in quotes, I can't access it again unless I also use the name in quotes. But, in DBA_OBJECTS the table's name shows up without quotes.
For example:
CREATE TABLE "avalys" (test number);
SELECT * FROM "avalys"; --Works
SELECT * FROM avalys; --Doesn't
Any idea what the problem could be? Am I just not supposed to quote table names (I need to, because one of our tables is a reserved word, and unfortunately we can't change the name of the table).

When you put quotes around a table name, you're telling Oracle to store the table name in a case-sensitive fashion, rather than the default case-insensitive fashion. When you use a non-quoted identifier, Oracle automatically upcases the whole thing and tries to resolve the name. Thus, you can do the following (not the uppercase table name in quotes)
SQL> create table "FOO" (n1 number);
Table created.
SQL> select * from foo;
no rows selected
because "select * from foo" implicitly upcases foo. If you declare a table with some lowercase letters, i.e.
SQL> create table "FOo" (n1 number);
Table created.
you'll only be able to access it with the same partially lowercase string, i.e.
SQL> select * from "FOo"
no rows selected

I found so many tables are there like K820083 and so on and also K81***** tables are so many there . why these tables are being used? IS there any like between COSP table and CE1****** tables. The tables you have mentioned are mainly generated tables for summarization levels. These tables hold the summarize data of CO-PA. You can check the tables in your summarization levels.
