How many cards?!

So I am going through my rebuild process. I recieved the NFCU secured card, approved for the Capital One secured card and approved for the Discover secured card. Should I open all three? Should I use them regularly and keep the balance at 10% when the statement is cut? Thanks!

The way I understand it you will get immediate score boost for your first 3 cards with the biggest boost coming from the 1st card and smaller boosts from the next 2. Any more new accounts over 3 you may see a small drop in score due to the inquirey and the new account bring down your average account age when they are first opened but in the long run the more accounts you have with good payment history and longer account age then all of those accounts will help bring your score up. So, IMO, if you are looking to get your score as high as possible in the short term then 3 is probably a good number but if you are only worried about the long term then having more than 3 would be better even though you may loose some points for them now. I am not a credit expert by any means but that is the way I understand it.

Im not asking how many cards you have, just how many you actually keep on you? My wallet is getting full due to my recent spree, and it made me wonder what I actually need to keep on me? I have five cards and my debit card in mine. I realized I would be in trouble if it was lost or stolen with the limits lol. I just might keep three How many are in yours ?

I only keep 4 credit cards + my Sam's MC, since it doubles as a membership card. Usually, I have my AmEx EDP, AmEx Platinum, CSP, and the 4th being whatever I am rotating in. I couldn't imagine the nightmare of calling to cancel/obtain replacements if I ever lost my wallet with too many cards in it. I don't ever carry my debit cards because I don't like having a direct link to my funds being exposed to skimmers and dishonest store clerks. Additionally, the idea of losing a debit card is too frightening for me. Banks are a lot less apt to recover anyone else's money but their own.

So, recently, I applied for 2 new cards ( both with capital one) and got approved for both ( credit score is 621). Currently, I have 5 inquries on my credit report, hence, I'm wondering should I apply for one additiona card? Alternatively, should I simply build my scores higher in order to get a better card in the future? Thanks!

How many credit cards needed to build credit?

I currently have a 586 Fico score and here's what is helping me build:
Capital One Classic Platinum $300 CL enrolled in the STEPS program.
Capital One Quicksilver Mastercard $500 CL enrolled in the STEPS program
Fingerhut credit account $300 CL
Victorias Secret $250 CL
Is this enough to build with or should I apply for another credit card?
BTW I also have a car loan, was late 7 months ago, but I haven't been late since the beginning of 2015. I also have student loans that are current and never late.

Tried sending an iTunes gift card to a @facebook account but the recipient hasn't received it.
Is it possible to send to another of their @facebook accounts and if that also fails then to a conventional account?

To use an iTune Gift Card to buy books...
Open iTunes on your computer and click on the iTunes Store.
You'll need to be signed in...
Click on the little House icon in the dark gray bar across the top. (or Shift+Command+H)
On the right side of the page under Quick Links click Redeem and enter your code.
Then it will show your credit balance in the dark gray bar across the top next to your account name to let you know how much you have to spend.
Then as you buy books, it'll deduct from the credit balanace.
There is a distinction between, iTunes Gift Card and Apple Gift Card.

G4 quicksilver dual 1ghz: how many video cards can i install?

i've kept this great old machine on the shelf, now i've found a use for it! i've been programming video installations for theatre using isadora (on more modern machines) and would love to utilize my old G4. currently installed is the stock card with a VGA and an ADC output, and i've run 2 monitors off it in the past. i'd like to run my ADC powered 17" studio display (control screen) plus at least 2,3 or more video projectors, so i'd like to install an additional video card(s). ideally VGA or DVI, but s-video or even component could work- it doesn't need to be high definition. can this machine handle it, and if so, recommendations for a good card, or multiple cards? i have several open slots, how many is feasable to stack in there?

Remember that video cards use the most power of any PCI cards. There is usually a finite limit to how much power the computer's PCI bus can provide.
I don't know the limimts on the QS, but the old Beige G3s has a limit of 45W total across three slots--I doubt it's a lot more on yours. The assumption back then was that most PCI vidcards then drew 25W. Unlike newer cards that have power "taps" top allow direct connection to the power supply, older PCI vidcards seldom had this convenience. I have a radeon 9200 and it does not.
The 9200 had a lot of VRAM but did not support Apple's Quartz Extreme video technology. Although great for 3D stuff, its 2D performance in OSX was dismal, with scrolling and dragging being choppy. You do not want that card as you primary video source on a computer with AGP graphics. There was a hack to get around the QE issue but it seldom worked without issue if you had more that one PCI card of any kind.

Brule01, welcome to the forum.
There are two main things to consider when adding / upgrading a video card: 1) the wattage required to run it properly and 2) the length of the card.
Most newer mid-level video cards require at least 400W to operate properly. The power supply unit (PSU) in the computer is 300W. Therefore, to add a discrete video card will require a PSU upgrade, as well. A card that will work with the existing 300W PSU will not be much, if any, better than the Integrated Video. I recommend at least 500W (600W would be good for future upgrades). I like OCZ and Corsair PSU's. They are very good quality.
The video card has to be PCI Express x16 and it can be a double card. The double cards only use one slot, but because of the width they may cover a second slot making it unavailable. This is normally not a problem for most users. Your computer case is mid-size. Therefore, I recommend a card that is no longer than 9". This will assure that it fits into the space provided. You can choose a card and get the measurements. Then, you can make a cardboard template of it to see if it will fit. You should add 1" to the template if the card has additional power connector/s. I like XFX, EVGA, Sapphire and PNY cards in that order. This comes from spending many years on enthusist / gaming forums.

How Many Travel Cards?

Was just approved on Saturday for Cap One Venture and have had a CSP since Feb. 2012. Love the CSP and even without the travel benefits the daily rewards more than cover the AF so it's just not something I worry too much about. I'm planning on not applying for anything in the next 6 months at least. Scores are high 600s currently but I have a few things happening in the next few months that should give my scores a pretty nice bump and I'll only have the inquiries (triple pull) from the Venture that I just got. My question to you all here is (and I've already gotten some SUPER helpful information so THANK YOU), how many travel cards is too many? To those that have several, do you find yourselves sticking to one card? We do travel at least a couple of times a year which is why I've gotten two travel cards but there are a couple more that I have my eye on, and even with higher AFs I think the benefits could outweigh the cost but I'd like to hear from people who actually have several of these cards, as opposed to straight cash back rewards cards. you can have many as you like, but each should have a reason to be in your wallet.If they have no reason to be in your wallet look at PC'ing to at least have 0 AF or combining limits and moving them out My Venture card is in my wallet because they gave me $400 to be in my wallet. Long term venture will not last, becasue even though its 2pts/$ spent. 46,000 points. While on the other hand, I have a CSP which is 2% on travel and resturants and other benefits when I shop via the rewards mall and a 20% bonus rewards when I redeem for travel and I can transfer points to airlines and other travel programs. Currently $380 in rewards balance sitting I also have a AMEX Delta card that gave me 40,000 rewards points. once again the card will be PC'd, in that I really don't want to fly delta but hey if you going to throw money at me, I will take your card. 45k pts sitting on the card My last card is a Hilton Honors Surpass, they through points at me, which I have used and thanks to work I ended up traveling a great deal for work, and ended up being Hilton Honors Diamond memeber so I am keeping this card, I enjoy getting 12pts/$ on Hilton stays. My wife liks staying in hotelsfrom time to time, so I will keep this card. 125,000 pts. So all these cards have a reason to sit in my wallet currently will they stay in my wallet in the curent form, mostly no, they will be murced to other cards or PC'd.But they gave me the ability to have another 5 days in california on points for just signing up for these cards and paying the AF, $300 in AF for 5 days in a trip to California is a great deal including flight for 2 people, rental car, 5 days in embasy suites.

How many PXI Ethernet Cards supported in LabVIEW RT?

How many ethernet ports does LabVIEW RT support. If I put in several cards (such as PXI-8231, PXI-8232, or PXIe-8234) into a PXI chassis, then would I be able to configure and use them all?

It should be fine to have as many ethernet cards as you need in the PXI chassis. There's a global limit depending on the number of interrupt lines available on the motherboard (or PXI chassis), but it's up to around 16, depending on the controller. You would set them up using the Advanced Ethernet Settings section in MAX, as explained in this LabVIEW Real-Time Module Help article. I posted the 2011 help but this works for a few versions back, what version of LabVIEW RT are you using? Hope this helps!
