How many choices to create a station on Itunes Radio can be live at the same time? Only 10 choices show in ATV interface. Does the 11:th choice render the first one obsolete? In that case: som much for personalized radio.
That's pretty much what I would like to know so I can stop trying to make endless corrections when Itunes wants to entertain me with Blink 182. I would way that any personalized radio service that means serious business and wants to extend beyond the hit crowd needs an equallly serious algorithm to edit the music.
Unfortunately, the message pretty much says it all.
What it does not tell you is that your Time Machine backups are corrupted and Time Machine cannot repair them, so it wants to delete your entire backup file and start with a new one.
I'm afraid that AppleCare will tell you the same thing, but it's worth checking with them to see if there are any new developments in this regard for this puzzling issue which affects a small percentage of users.
Please post back on your findings if you pickup some additional useful information when you speak to Apple.

Most routers specs I've seen have a theoretical maximum of 256, but obviously due to practical performance issues would likely limited to less than 20.

You can put time controls onto the offending addresses.
But if the hackers know anything at all they know how to access the MAC address of the computer and change it.. so the effectiveness of this is limited.
Change the current setup and password.. You must use WPA2 Personal and I recommend you use a pure alphanumeric password, mix case and numbers of 20 characters or more for your situation.. do not give that password to anyone.. protect the admin password of the TC itself equally well but with a different password. And protect the physical access to the TC from anyone in your home.. because the fact is all security on the TC is an illusion if the TC has open access.

If you make no progress.. I suggest replacement of the TC as the main router of your network.. you need something with controls.. and even better controls that allow you to block people.
The favourite one now is older Netgear WNDR3800 . .you might need to buy from ebay although a few new ones are still around.. alternatively the WNDRMACv2 is simply the same hardware in a white box.. instead of black.

How to acquire analog signal and send a TTL pulse at the same time based on PXI 6123

I am using a PXI-6123 data acquisition card, as the picture show in the attachment ,I want to acquire the analog signal of ai0 through reference analog window and at the same time send a TTL signal to trigger my camera. I have tried two methods, one is using the DAQmx Export signal.vi another is using DAQmx connect terminals, but when the data acquisition card acquire the analog signal, the DAQmx Export signal.vi and the DAQmx connect terminals sometime can send an TTL pulse ,sometime can not.
I don’t know why? or some other method that can achieve my arm is appreciated.

Have things changed over the years?
I need to syncronise a digital output (Modul NI9474) and an analoge input (AI-Modul NI9203) module. I need to measure time intervals from a flank in signal A to a flank in signal B. I would like accuracies of the order of 1 ms. Currently, the signals are not synchronised, with errors of the order of 2 times the block length (block size x sample rate), sometimes much higher. The best I got so far was a block size of around 20 with a sample rate of 1 kHz.
If I use the master and slave settings on the RTSL settings, my program doesn't run properly.
If I use digital signals for input and output, I can syncronise them with RTSL settings and everything is good, but I can't always do that.
Also, if I do anything in the GUI (such as scrollowing something or going to another window), my output gets screwed up properly.
1. What can be done to synchronise AI with DO?
2. Is there something that can be done to avoid messing up the output when something happens in the user interface? (I know that I am messing up the outputs as they make some valves switch and that is loud).

Upgrading OES2sp2/SLES10sp3.. done at the same time how?
I was reading through the inst-oes-lnx.pdf doc (for OES2sp3) to upgrade our OES2sp2 server, and section 5.2.2 clearly states, "You must upgrade SLES 10 and OES 2 at the same time". This line is confusing me badly.
The problem is, following along the online(rug) upgrade section (Section 5.4.5), I see it says only to download the move-to-oes2-sp3 patch, after which there are more rug commands, some configuring, and at least one reboot. It doesn't explicitly say anything about a move-to-sles10-sp4 patch (except that it cannot be used to upgrrade OES2 SP3) until Section 7.4.1, Updating the Server Base form SLES 10SP3 to SLES10 SP4.
So... they're done sequentially, OES, then SLES? Or am I off here? That would mean for a time, the server is running as OES2sp3/SLES10sp3. That doesn't seem to meet the "same time" requirement.
But if they are to be done simultaneously, which is what "same time" means to me, then I'm at a loss.
Does the move-to-oes2-sp3 patch automatically add the move-to-sles10-sp4 patch? That seems to be hinted at by line 5 of Section 5.4.5 Performing the Upgrade: " Install the recommended patches that are in the channels using rug up -t patch -g recommended && rug ping -a." (But why then have Section 7.4.1?)
I don't have the luxury of development or test servers to play around on, being tight budgeted, our servers are in production- I have to get this right.

The "move-to-oes2-sp3" patch will take care of upgrading the underlying
SLES10 SP3 to SLES10 SP4 at the same time as upgrading OES2 SP2 to OES2
SP3.
Do NOT try applying the "move-to-sles10-sp4" patch on your OES2 server
unless your server is already at OES2 SP3 but on SLES10 SP3 - there was an
oddity with OES2 SP3 where it didn't fit the "OES2 SPn is only supported on
SLES10 SPn+1" rule as was originally supported on SLES10 SP3.
If you're unsure, please post the output from "cat /etc/*release" and we
can advise which patch you need to install.

And I strongly suggest making sure you have the ability to do the offline media upgrade in case something goes wrong. We had horrible luck with the online/channel method from OES2 SP2 to OES2 SP3 upgrades getting stuck sometime after the "move to" script executing and not completing.
Never had the media method not work, however. -
Can someone please tell me how to retrieve deleted text. i was clearing old texts when a new one came through at the same time and was deleted also. My last update was iOS 8.1.2
You restore from a backup that was created after the text was received but before it was deleted.
But if you literally deleted it right after it came in, then it's not recoverable. Have the other person resend the text. -

I just recently updated my iTunes to the latest version and now run into the following challenge. With the "old" iTunes I was able to sync my Outlook calendar from my company computer over iTunes with my iPhone and my iPad. At the same time I was able to sync my private appointments on my iPhone over iCloud with my iPad. That way my appointments from my company computer appeared in a different color on my mobile devices as my private appointments and everything was fine.
Now, after updating iTunes, I cannot sync my Outlook calendar from my company computer anymore - iTunes is just telling me I choose to sync my calendar over iCloud and leaves me no option anymore to sync "manually" in addition to the iCloud with iTunes.
How can I solve the issue? Basically, how can I sync my company appointments with my iPhone without using iCloud on my company computer?Hi,
I have the same issue and I can tell that it really *****. Now I have to manually copy cal items to my icloud calendar to have the business cal items on my iphone. have looked into codetwo for icloud which is nice for notes, tasks and contacts but it only works for business cal items which I myself have created not for items for which I was invited. Contacted their support but I think it won't help.
If you have any suggestions how to overcome this problem, I'd be glad if you posted your solution.

How do I keep more than one safari page open at the same time?
New to Mac. I'm used to being able to have several applications open at the same time, and able to check emails, eBay, camera for downloading photos, etc., but when trying this on Mac, I can't seem to figure out how to swing from email to something else....oh, it opens up eBay and other pages, but not where I left it...I have to keep starting from the beginning...name, password, etc. I can't have 3, 4 or 5 safari pages open at the same time?? This is making my life cumbersome, and running back to the basement office and using my dying Dell desktop where life was a bit simpler. Sometimes I need to copy a few paragraphs on one website into another....and its taking me way too long to get this done. I know there's a way of doing this on Mac....

I was new to mac a short time ago and I had frustrations in the learning curve especially as I was so used to working with PC.
If you look at the top left of the screen you will see the words SAFARI next to the apple logo. if not then either open safari or click on the window and the mac will then show safari at the top. If you now click on FILE you can select NEW WINDOW or NEW TAB as you wish. I often use new tab and switch between them. If you go to VIEW and select CUSTOMISE TOOLBAR you can drag an icon to the top of the safari window and you won't have to keep going to the menu to add a new tab. I will sometimes select new window to keep something separate from my other work.
If you close down a window you will often lose your place, but using the tab system you will leave the window active unless you select the cross to terminate. If you have a separate window open you can select the orange blob (between the red and green at the top) and the window will slide down to the dock and stay there, active, for you to return and continue.

PS I have PARALLELLS6 running with a copy of windows 7 on my mac. This means that I can switch to microsoft if I want to. However, with office for mac installed I rarely need to now, the only time I ever open windows is for an application that has no mac version. -
How do i extend airplay to stream music at the same time to AEX and ATV2
I have a new ATV2 and an AEX, my macbook, 2 Ipod touches and an Ipad2.
I figured out how to setup my ATV2 and airplay through my macbook and my touches. My ATV2 is in my living room on a Yamaha 6.1 receiver with 2 channels. I have 6 speakers in my living room on channel A and a speaker in my bathroom on channel B.
So....I decided to grab an extra Bose speaker and bring it to my foyer/kitchen and hook it up to my AEX since i cant hear the music too well when im cooking or in my office from the speakers in the living room.
I setup the AEX to connect direct to the speaker. When Im on Itunes (either mac book or touch) i only get two options to airplay, AEX or ATV2.
My question: How do I extend airplay to stream music on BOTH AEX and ATV2 with the same music at the same time?

When both devices are properly connected to your home's wireless or wired network, both should show up in iTunes as in your case. Also the iTunes AirPlay speaker selector should provide you with an option to choose multiple speakers. As a minimum, you should see: Computer, the AXn, the ATV2, and the Multiple Speakers options. Is this not the case?

Try to reset Network setting thru (Setting/General/Reset/Reset Network Setting - after clicking on it the phone will ask to reboot)
According to my R&D I have experienced that one must reset the network each time when we r at home or in office or other places, the phone after resetting the network setting acquires the area specific network setting n works well, try it & if any other solution do let me known
Calling up customer care did not help me, they do keep us in a loop with the same old answeres that “Our technical team is working on it & WILL GET BACK TO u” leaving us with no solution at the end

Two different Resultsets for the same query (running at the same time)
I am using the Thin Driver for Oracle 8.1.6. I am invoking queries in multithreading mode (each thread has his own connection to the oracle DB). If i am invoking the same SQL-Statement in two different threads nearly at the same time, only the ResultSet of the first query is complete. The ResultSet of the second query is not complete (the number of tuples differs each time I run the program). Principally the two ResultSets should be the same (no changes are done at the same time in the DB), but they are not.
Anybody knows this problem and knows how to solve it? Principally read accesses on DBs should not make such trouble ...

When Two users trying to access the same server and need to access the report for scheduling at the same time, does that lead to Deadlock Situation?
What are the Odd's in such scenarios?

ShivaWhen two users are say trying to schedule the same report at the same time - the relevant Job server has default capacity of running 5 concurrent jobs at a time (this value can be increased) - that means, it can run 5 schedules at the same time.
Let's say now two users have scheduled 6 reports - now the 5 reports that were scheduled will be in the "running" state but the server has only 5 concurrent job capacity so the 6th report schedule will stay "pending" until any one of the existing jobs are completed, and then the 6th report will start "running".
There is nothing called deadlock while scheduling. While viewing the reports, there are enough resources available in the BO system to make the report available for various users at the same time.
