  • How to retreive the modified XML data?

    Hi..
    i had a problem in retrieving the modified xml data.
    Iam using apache's DOMParser
    In the my class my xml data is stored in a string.so i used following statement to read xml data from that string:
    String abc="<? xml version=... some data goes here"
    InputSource in=new InputSource(new ByteArrayInputStream(abc.getBytes()));
              DOMParser domParser = new DOMParser();
              domParser.parse(in);
              Document doc = domParser.getDocument();
              Element root = doc.getDocumentElement();
    and i did some operations like adding ,removing and replacing elements etc.
    It was fine when the checked the data.
    but..i need my modified xml data as String.
    is there any method to retrieve the modified xml data "as it is" in String?

    You can use XMLSerializer.
    Here is an example that dump your document on the console:
    OutputFormat formatter = new OutputFormat();
    formatter.setPreserveSpace(true);
    XMLSerializer serializer =
    new XMLSerializer(System.out, formatter);
    serializer.serialize(doc);
    where doc is your Document.

  • How to generate the following XML-Output?

    Hi all,
    I would like to generate the following XML-Output without defining any types or tables:
    <?xml version = '1.0'?>
    <DEPARTMENTS_EMPLOYEES>
    <DEPARTMENT NAME="ACCOUNTING">
    <DEPTNO>10</DEPTNO>
    <LOC>NEW YORK</LOC>
    <EMPLOYEES_OF_DEPARTMENT>

    <LOC>DALLAS</LOC>
    <EMPLOYEES_OF_DEPARTMENT>
    </EMPLOYEES_OF_DEPARTMENT>

    Unfortunately the following SQL-Statement does not working:
    select xmlElement("DEPARTMENTS_EMPLOYEES",

  • How to parse the following xml file

    Hi
    I have an xml file with the following data
    Example.xml
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>
    <html><set label="09/07/29" value="1241.90"/>
    </html>
    How do i retrive the values of the attributes
    Example i want the label value 09/07/29
    and 1241.90 to be inserted into some temp table.
    Appreciate if any one can provide me the solution.
    Thanks,

    it's more an XQuery question than DB XML one.
    Anyway, you can use the following queries to get attributes values:
    doc(<your_doc>)/html/set/@label
    doc(<your_doc>)/html/set/@valueYou can retrieve both values in a single query, but for this please refer to the XQuery specification.
    Or read: [http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/xml/gsg_xml/java/xquery.html#xqueryintro]

  • How to populate the webservice XML data in to Table  ODI- Webserice invoke

    Hi,
    I have multiple work orders in my oracle db table, That means multiple WorkOrder_Item_ID's are there in my source table. When I start transfer the data from source to Target using ODI , I need to get the information of multiple Work order Item_IDs from the Webservice response data ( XML data) of another system by calling ODI Webservice Invoke in ODI and insert the same Webservice XML response data in my source table in the corresponding Item_ID's.
    My First question : How can I take the data from Webservice XML and put in to correspoding Item relevent data in to Source Table
    Second question: How can I send the multiple work order item ID at the same time to the Webservice and insert the relevant item data in to Source table using ODI.
    Finally this combined soure table data should be moved to Target table in ODI.. That I know.. How to do it.
    Can any one please give answers for the above said two questions.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh

    I find some words in the implementation guide, it says:"To collect data from your non-Oracle ERP systems or your trading partners' systems,you model each non-Oracle ERP system or trading partner as an Oracle Applications organization and store their setup and transaction data there".
    But I can't find where to model the application organization for the legacy system.
    anyone can give some clues? Thanks in advance.

  • LabVIEW webservice: How to format the published XML data

    Hi,
    Im trying to  publish some measurement data with LabVIEW webservice and read the data with Android client. However i have some problems with the XML output from the LabVIEW webservice.
    I want to publish the data in in this form:
    <Response>
     -<Terminal>
            <Parameter> Temperature</Parameter>
             <Value> 5 </Value>
            <Unit> ºC </Unit>
           <Description> Measurements from Sensor 1</Description>
       </Terminal>
    </Response>
    Any ideas how i can do this? i havent found any good example on how to format the XML output this way.

    Hi,
    You can format the data using Format Into String as shown in the attached snippet. Is this maybe something you can use?

  • How to do the following XML/XSLT operation in a Java Oracle function?

    I'd like to write a Java method with the following signature...
    public static oracle.xdb.XMLType bwdtransform(java.lang.String suname, oracle.sql.CLOB documentText)
    The documentText is simply a CLOB that contains the XML. It needs to have two XSLT stylesheets applied to it, then made into an XMLType and returned.
    Another requirement is that the stylesheets have to have the Java XPath extensibility, which is available using the namespace "xmlns:java.lang.String="http://www.oracle.com/XSL/Transform/java/java.lang.String".
    I've tried a couple of different ways using oracle.xdb.XMLType.transform() and the classes in the oracle package oracle.xml.parser.v2.*, which is what the listing I pasted in below is based on, but I haven't been able to get anything to work. I THINK the XMLType.transform failed because I was using the Java XPath extensions.
    I'd appreciate it if there's a standard Oracle recommended way to do this operation, preferably as optimized as possible.
    Here btw is the current code I'm using which isn't working. Any variables that you see that aren't initialized in the function are static to the class and initialized in a static {} block including the stylesheets which are instances of XSLStylesheet.
    public static XMLType bwdtransform(java.lang.String suname, oracle.sql.CLOB documentText) throws Exception {
    parser.parse(new ByteArrayInputStream(clobToString(documentText).getBytes()));
    XMLDocument documentTextXMLDocument = parser.getDocument();
    XMLDocumentFragment docFrag = processor.processXSL(twiddlerXSLStylesheet, processor.processXSL(adopterXSLStylesheet, documentTextXMLDocument));
    Document intermediateDoc = docFrag.getOwnerDocument();
    XMLType x = new XMLType(conn, intermediateDoc);
    return x;
    I haven't been able to find any way to make this work and any any help in that direction would be oh so greatly appreciated.
    For completeness, here's the version of Oracle I'm running, according to sqlplus...
    SQL*Plus: Release 11.1.0.7.0 - Production on Thu Apr 30 20:24:53 2009
    Thanks!
    Ralph

    The XMLDB way of doing this like this would be something like the following examples:
    SELECT XMLtransform(x.xmlcol,
              DBURIType('/XDB/STYLESHEET_TAB/ROW[ID=1]
                               /STYLESHEET/text()').getXML()).getStringVal()
           AS result
    FROM  po_tab x; or
    SELECT XMLtransform(x.xmlcol,
                (SELECT stylesheet FROM stylesheet_tab WHERE id=1)).getStringVal()
              AS result
    FROM  po_tab x; or use DBMS_XSLPROCESSOR...

    OS X version 10.9.2

    Yes, sharing a TM disk is a bad idea, and disks are cheap enough so that you don't need to.
    Now
    Have you tried to repair the disk yet

  • How to access the Custom Data type variable given in Expression edit control To and From LabVIEW

    Hello, I would like to know how to access the custom data type variable given in the Espression Edit Control from LabVIEW and vice-versa
    Say, the FileGlobals.Reference_Handle (Custom Data Type Variable) contains the
    VISA I/O session (Which in turn contains VISA_DeviceName: String, Session: Number),
    Channel1: Number and
    Channel2: Number
    I am expecting the user to give FileGlobals.Reference_Handle as the input at the ExpressionEdit Control in the edit screen of the VI Call.
    I would like to know how to get the values of this custom data type to LabVIEW?
    Say, if I have the Cluster in LabVIEW like VISA I/O session (Deive Name and Session Number), Channel1 and Channel2
    how do i need to set this cluster to the Custom Data type variable in TestStand?
    Thanks and Regards
    Prakash

    Hi,
    TestStand to LabVIEW: i didnt understand what you r trying to achieve. But if you are using references, Use Property nodes and Invoke nodes to achieve what you want in LabVIEW.
     LabVIEW to TestStand: check the image below: You need to click the button next to 'container'. I have used a cluster output in the VI.
    Hope this helps

  • HTTP adapter - Unable to access the following endpoint(s): REPLACE_WITH_ACTUAL_URL

    Hi All,
    Hope you all doing good.
    I had a simple but a bit unresolved issue.
    I am using soa suite 11.1.1.5 for calling a service which only accepts HTTPS POST requests.
    I used HTTP adapter to call that with required security applied.
    when I tested the process, the calling is not getting successful but the process goes in running state for 2 mins, and then fails with the error: Unable to access the following endpoint(s): REPLACE_WITH_ACTUAL_URL
    End point URL not reachable, and the URL after this.
    But there is 500 error message in the called service server log with the same user.
    I tried changing lot of things without success.
    Can anyone of you guide me, what could be going wrong here.
    Hope I get some solution .,
    Thanks in advance,
    Best Regards

    Hi,
    The process will receive the request as SOAP message. Then the process will call the service which accpets HTTPS POST message.
    I dont know, how to verify whether my service call out to service goes through POST method of HTTP adapter?
    But verb used is POST, http.payload is xml.
    Thanks & Regards

  • ListCellFactory - how to access an object's data associated with list cell?

    I am new to javafx and building a sample app to learn the basics. The app has a list view control and used listcellfactory to create listcells. Each list cell is composed of few labels and image. I populated list view with listViewItems function, where in it sends object[]; I have my own object with data that needs to be populated in the list cell. I have hard coded the object[] and that size is reflected in list view items size. However, I am not able to populate the object data in individual labels.
    In the following code, I can only get the string representation of the object and I am unable to figure out how to individually access the object's data. Please help me with this.
    function listCellFactory(): javafx.scene.control.ListCell {
    var listCell: javafx.scene.control.ListCell;
    def offerLbl: javafx.scene.control.Label = javafx.scene.control.Label {
    text: bind "{listCell.item}"
    def descriptionLbl: javafx.scene.control.Label = javafx.scene.control.Label {
    text: bind "{listCell.item}"
    def friendLbl: javafx.scene.control.Label = javafx.scene.control.Label {
    text: bind "{listCell.item}"
    def offerImgView: javafx.scene.image.ImageView = javafx.scene.image.ImageView {
    image: imagetrial
    fitWidth: 300.0
    fitHeight: 250.0
    def offerVerticalBox: javafx.scene.layout.VBox = javafx.scene.layout.VBox {
    content: [ offerLbl, descriptionLbl, friendLbl, offerImgView, ]
    spacing: 6.0
    listCell = javafx.scene.control.ListCell {
    node: offerVerticalBox
    return listCell
    }

    If I understand you question, it should be (listCell.data as YourClassName)
