How to acquire data from the memory of multimeter

I am a beginner of Labview. I don't know how to acquire data from the memory of multimeter.
I read some examples about DAQ, but it seems not similar to my case. I can't use DAQ in my computer, as I don't have DAQ board.
Could anybody give me some guide? Similar examples would be great.

    When Time Machine backs up a portable Mac, some of the free space will be used to make local snapshots, which are backup copies of recently deleted files. The space occupied by local snapshots is reported as available by the Finder, and should be considered as such. In the Storage display of System Information, local snapshots are shown as  Backups. The snapshots are automatically deleted when they expire or when free space falls below a certain level. You ordinarily don't need to, and should not, delete local snapshots yourself. If you followed bad advice to disable local snapshots by running a shell command, you may have ended up with a lot of data in the Other category. Ask for instructions in that case.

    Hi,
    I studied the multithreading section of Labview, but still have no idea
    how to make it work. Let me briefly explain my situation. I need to
    develop a program that can control and acquire data from 4 serial
    ports. I have 4 buttons to control starting or stopping acquisation
    from the corresponding port. Every acquisation process is a while loop.
    How can I start a new acquisation loop (eg. from COM2) while the loop
    for COM1 is still running? In other words, I wish the 4 loops running
    independently, and are controlled by their corresponding buttons only.

    Hi Anonymous,
          If I were you, I'd create one VI (call it Port.vi) to listen to one port - then make it reentrant.  Drop 4 copies of Port.vi on your Main diagram.  Port.vi inputs could include a VISA reference, a "Start/Stop" notifier and maybe a "Quit" occurance.  Wire to each copy of Port.vi a unique VISA reference and a unique "Start/Stop" [boolean] notifier - let all the copies share the same Quit Occurance.
    In Main, have one event case for each of your stop buttons.  When a button is pressed, send the appropriate Start/Stop notifier!
    ... of course you could accomplish the same thing with four identical loops right in your main diagram, but the more complex the port-handling gets, the easier it will be to manage in one place instead of four.

  • How to acquire data from 2 chs of the same DAQ card at different sampling rate

    I am using single DAQ card (either 6013 or 6014) in my system i want to acquire data from 2 (or more) channels with following requirements
    1. sampling rate of each channel should be independant of each other (say one is 20 Hz and other is 15 kHz)
    2. data from all the channels should be acquired simultaneously.
    3. coding must be done using DAQmx VIs
    I have tried out following things
    1. I created separate task for each channel: i found out that two tasks can not run simultaneously even though the channels are different
    2. I tried out single task with two channels included in it. and i used 'channels to Read' property to determine from which ch. i want to acquire data: this method works fine if the sampling rates are same. but if i change the sampling rate of one channel it gets reflected in other channels as well.
    can somebody help me out to solve this problem.
    i will appreciate if somebody can post the sample code as my deadline is approaching

    You can create view in tcode se11..
    here you include all tables from which you want to fetch the data..
    you need to give selection condition here
    eg..
    say select empname from table A, select empadd from table B.. where empno(from A)=empno(from B)
    (note that you dont need to write queries like this.. i have just given u the example)
    After creating the view you can create datasource in RSO2..

  • How to retreive data from the column of CLOb  dataype in BPEL.

    Hello Everyone,
    I have a scenario in which i have two databses primary and secondary. In first bpel process i am checking if primary database is down then store the payload in temp staging table in secondary database. That payload is getting stored in a cloumn of CLOB datatype in a text format.
    Now in second bpel process when primary is up i have to pull the data from the temp staging table...but here i want the data in the same format (like it came in the first process...the input payload format)....but as the CLOB will store the data as a text then how to reform that data in to ealier payload format.
    Can any one pls suggest me the solution...

    I dont think so you can achieve that, PSA is actually datasource dependent.
    One you load from a datasource to PSA.That is accesible by multiple DTPs if you have created so.
    As you said "I don't want to delete data that belongs to other business units that use the same datasource."
    If you delete the PSA, you may have to repull the data from source system again and if thats delta it wont work out.
    As said by above ppl you can include the "Delete PSA" in process chain but choose some 15 days buffer.

    Assign an ID to your table item , then in JavaScript , you can use ID.innerHTML and you will get the HTML code within that table for the same , then you can find out how best to get the exact value you desire from the innerHTML value which is a string with the entire HTML from within the table item.

    SAP memory is a memory area to which all main sessions within a SAPgui have access. You can use SAP memory either to pass data from one program to another within a session, or to pass data from one session to another.     When I upload data to infotype 0007(planed working time),
    there is something wrong with the infotype 2011. So I want
    to delete the data of  infotype 0007. While using the program RPUREOPN to delete the data, the system will say:0007 cannot be deleted because of time constraint 1/A.
    Now how can I delete the data from table PA0007?

      There is another question. There are five clients (Client 300,310,320,330,350) in my HR DEV system. I just want to delete the data of infotype 0007 in client 350. When I change the the time constraint and delete the data in client 350, the data of infotype 0007 in other clients will be safe or not?
