How to activate debugger in sapscript?

hi friends,
i am new to sapscript.
i cant see the option of 'activate debugger' in
se71->utilities
i am using ecc5.0
is there any other option to activate debugger?
also can i write a select query in a form?

even i am also in ECC5.0.but i am able to see the option 'ACTIVATE DEBUGGER' from the menu path UTILITIES->
YOU can not do direct SELECT statement in script layout.instead you can use PERFORM to get the required data into the layout.

. Actually my real problem is a transported the SAP script form znalepke2 , printer definition nale
and device type zststartsp of a thermal printer.
On original system (ak1) the printout is ok but on target system(ak2)
not.
Lateron I transported also :
R3TR SCPD 1403(as the device type uses this character set)
R3TR TABU TSP08 (All entries)
R3TR TABU TSP1D(All entries)
R3TR TABU TSP1T(All entries)
I used also report RSTXSCRP to traport form and device types. L
Lately I discovered that when I performe printout preview I get also eronneous printout If I ssue an printout preview in language "EN" on system "ak1"(only on system ak1 and form preview in "SL" is oK. What steps you suggest me to solve the prolem

Hi all,
Somebody know if is it posible to debugg Request for Quotation(ME42)?
It is a Sapscript and I need to make a debugg althoug the debugger was activated in the transaction SE71 the form is printed Automatically.
Help please, how can I activate the debugger when a send to print the request quotation?

Hi,
One way to start the script debugger is:
Se71->utilities->activate debugger.
This may be a time-consuming process. Instead, open a session and execute the program RSTXDBUG. Even if you follow the above menu path to activate the script, it will internally execute the program RSTXDBUG. So you are saving some time in going through all of the above processes.
Another advantage of using this program: when a developer works in the support environment and the client requests to makes some changes to a form, but doesn't know which form, he can just show the form output and request for changes.
Example: Transaction Code HRBEN0001. This contains a confirmation form, benefits form and others.
In this scenario, just open the other session and run the program RSTXDBUG program, click a push button on the transaction code and if a form is associated with that button it is automatically opened in debug mode. Once the form is in debug mode you can find the form name then open one more session and make the changes to the form while debugging it.

hi,
1) DEBUG Smartform:
One way to debug smartform is to debug the Function Module of that smartforms. If you want to debug particular smartform node that the solution would be, insert a "Program Line" just above the node you want to debug and this program line write a normal abap breakpoint. So whenever you call the smartforms, it will stop at this breakpoint and you can debug onwards.
2). DEBUG SAPScript
They are two ways to debug the SAPScript.
1). Use Tools - Word Processing - Layout Set (SE71). Enter name of layout set and then Utilities - Activate Debugger.
It is of no consequence which layoutset you enter when selecting the SAPscript debugger. (Menu path: Tools-Wordprocessing - Forms, Utilities - Activate Debugger) The next layoutset called will invoke the debugger.
2). Another way to set the SAPScript debugger is to run program RSTXDBUG.
When you debug Print program it is same as you debug any other ABAP program.
While when you debug SAPScript, you actually debug the code ( scripting) you have written SAPScript Form.

My question is - how to activate this SYNP Time Stamp.. ?
 - Once I activate this SYNP Time Stamp.. How do I activate this ..in SE11 or some other
 TCode..

Read note 1152612 - Incorrect component type in structure WRMA_S_RESULT_DATA.
The error occurs in Release BI_CONT 703 Support Package 9.
If you require an advance correction for Support Package 9, make the following manual changes if the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is inactive in your system.
1. Use transaction RSA1 to call the Data Warehousing Workbench.
2. Check whether the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG was already activated by the compilation process the first time you called transaction RSA1. You can use transaction RSD1 to check this by entering 0TCTLSTCHG in the "InfoObject" field and choosing "Display". Proceed as follows if the InfoObject is still not active:
3. Go to BI Content activation.
4. Select "Object Types".
5. Open the "InfoObjects" tree and select "Objects".
6. Search for the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG and select it.
7. Transfer the object and activate it.
These steps activate the required component type /BI0/OITCTLSTCHG. You can check again in transaction RSD1 to ensure that the InfoObject 0TCTLSTCHG is available as active.

How to activate the ATP buckets in APO?

Hi,
We are in the process of changing the ATP buckets in our APO system.
I know the Path in the configuration:
Advanced Planning and Optimization -> Global Available-to-Promise (Global ATP) -> General Settings -> Maintain Global Settings for Availability Check
On the left side you will get three sections:
Global Settings
ATP Buckets (Active)
ATP Buckets (Planned)
I can change the values in (example field Shift Receipt Bucket) the ATP Buckets (Planned) section and save it with a transport. Now the question is how to activate the buckets. Is there another transaction for this? SAP Help doesn't specify how to activate.
Any ideas are highly appreciated.

To activate the buckets one need to check the box 'Current' in the options under ATP Buckets (Active). Also, as referred earlier by Dipthi do look up the documentation under:

If you change bucket parameters (see Definition of Buckets for ATP Time Series), these must be activated subsequently for the ATP time series.
Features
The system activates the bucket parameters in the following situations:
Since activation in each of the situations described below leads to downtime, you should change bucket parameters less frequently than other Customizing settings.
·        Creating the active planning version for a client using transaction /SAPAPO/MVM
If you set up a system again, you should process the bucket parameters before you create the active planning version. The bucket parameters are thus activated automatically.
·        Initializing SAP liveCache for all clients using transaction LC10
In the case of an upgrade, you should process the bucket parameters before activating SAP liveCache. The bucket parameters are then activated automatically.
·        Executing the report /SAPAPO/OM_ATP_REBUILD_TS
The system only rebuilds the ATP time series here.
In this case, the SAP liveCache administrator must execute the following steps:
                            a.      Shut down SAP liveCache.

How to activate all inactive objects for current user ...
... I have found a (long winded) way to do this:
- Environment / Inactive Objects
- Add to Worklist
- Display Worklist
- Select All
- Activate
this will open a dialog titled "Inactive Objects for <username>"
which has the exact functionality I need ... but I can't figure out how to get to this dialog directly - without so many intermediate steps
the SAP docs repeatedly mention the ability to activate the inactive worklist - but do not mention how
does anybody know the TCode for this dialog?

ps does the term "mass activation" apply to importing change requests rather than development activation?

No other way. But usually it's far more simple as all objects are already in our own worklist.
I wonder why your objects are not already in your worklist, as everytime you create or maintain an object, it is added to your worklist.

If FaceTime is not hidden by Restrictions (Settings>General<Restrictions) you got duped. iPods officially sold in Dubai and some other countries that prohibit FT do not have FT and there is not way to get FT on those iPods.

Select Business Function Set: ISR_RETAIL - SAP Retail
A new line will be appeared below.
Current Status will be OFF. Click within Field: Current Status. It will pop-up a list. Select "X - ON".
Important: I've read somewhere - Once Activated, cannot Roll-back.

How to activate Events Calendar Sample Application's Weekly and Daily View?

Does anyone know how to activate the Weekly and Daily View for the sample calendar application called "Events?" I am trying to generate, or incorporate, a calendar application based upon the sample application provided by Oracle. I have installed the sample application but I am unable to view the calendar in daily or weekly formats. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in-advance.

If the calendar was set up to only use the Monthly view, then you will be missing a number of items on your page.
The simplest thing to do would be to create a new calendar page in your copy of your sample app and then identify those items that are missing from your original page. These should be Monthly/Weekly/Daily buttons, Adjust Calendar Date - Monthly/Weekly/Daily processes and a hidden Pnn_CALENDAR_TYPE page item that holds the currently displayed type.

U pls Check ur configuration. First u check the calculation procedure (F.A- Tax on sales & purchase-Basic setting-Check calculation procedure _ Define procedure) In the procedure field u check JM01 is activated or deactivated otherwise u created in condition Type.
