How to add a button to the home pages of the group wiki and user blog

On the top of the home page of the group wiki page, there are several buttons/links like "wiki", "blog", "calendar" and "mail". I would like to add a button "svn" linked to "/svn/". Any one can help me? Thanks very much

If you can open Safari go to the top of your screen, click Safari / Preferences then select the General stab. You can type in the web address for your Home page there.

With 2 tabs open, how can I go to the home page for the tab I'm on, instead of both home pages opening in new windows

I have two tabs, each one set to a homepage. when I am browsing on one of the tabs, and want to go back to the homepage on that tab. when I hit the homepage icon, the home page opens on this tab, and the other homepage opens in a new tab, een though it's one on the first tab already. In IE, there's a drop down box which allows you to select a home page to open. is that available?

You can create two separate bookmarks on the Bookmarks Toolbar if you want to open those pages individually.

I run a computer lab and would like to set the home page to be computer, rather than user specific. Is this possible ?

Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify default values for all users.
Place a file local-settings.js in the defaults\pref folder where you also find the file channel-prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg.

Want to open 2nd tab and have it load the home page which the first tab opens. The first tab opens Google's advance search, the second tab opens a blank window. I always want Google to be in a new page.

Any search toolbar and changes to search engines can take place by downloading and installing software; usually "free" software from the internet. Babylon can be downloaded and installed by itself or as a "ride-along" when installing/updating some software from the internet. Always look for an opportunity during the installation to un-check boxes that will install "ride-along" items that you do not want. Firefox installation does not include such "ride-along" items.

The home page fills the screen (not full screen), but when I visit any site the screen displayed is only the size of a4, how can I make this like the home page

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages.

Each time I open Firefox, a previously visted website is open at the left side behind the home page, so the my home page is only partly filling the screen.

The "Sam's Club" website with my user ID and "remember me" box checked is the one that opens behind my homepage. This happens every time I open Firefox, but did not happen before I set up the Sam's Club sign in page.

Could you check whether you have dual homepages?

Edit: if the page appears in the sidebar, which also can be used to display bookmarks (Ctrl+b) or history (Ctrl+h), then it probably is caused by something other than your home page setting.

I think i've found how to fix this issue when it appears. Don't know what caused it to happen, but that's up to the devs.
In Thunderbird, you need to re-register http and https to make them open with Firefox (or open well with firefox in this case).
How to to this?
Well... open the about:config in thunderbird. You can achieve this by clicking configuration-editor in the advanced tab.
search for the strings: network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https and network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http. Set both to "true".
The next time you click on a link from within Thunderbird, it will ask you to set wich program you'd like to open it with.
Be Aware now!!! Firefox may already be listed in there, but don't pick that one. instead... choose to browse for the app and point to the binairy/exe of firefox.
(for example: /usr/bin/firefox or c:/program files/mozilla/firefox.)
You will notice that firefox now does open up with the page you just clicked on.
If it doesn't right away... just restart thunderbird and check again.
Please respond if this works for you too on all platforms. It's more interesting to know it does than if it's not.

Theme fo the Home Page on the Blackberry Tour

On my previous Blackberry (the 8830), I was able to set up the home page so that it showed (1) 3 or 4 new messages and (2) 2 or 3 upcoming appointments. Is it possible to create a similar home page for the Tour?

I just switched from the Motorola Q9M. I was able to see upcoming events which I LOVED. Am very disappointed that the TOUR does not have this feature. However, I was able to figure out how to customize the main screen so I can see the 6 icons I use most.
From the main screen hit the Menu Key. You will see all of your Icons. Scroll to the Icon you want to move. Hit the Menu Key. Make sure "Move" is highlighted, then hit the Menu Key again. Use your trackball to move it to one of the first six position as those will show up on your main screen. Keep repeating this until you have the six Icons you want on your main screen in the fist six spots.

I have recently had a problem when turning my iPad on from shutdown, in that it takes at least four attempts to slide my finger across to get the home page. The screen is clean, and when I do eventually get the home page it all works perfectly. Any ideas?

How do I get back to the home page in the iPod app?

Another problem like the other ones. I started to play an audiobook on my iPad.....one I had synced from my iTunes/i/pod. Now I can't get rid of it. I can stop it from playing, but it is taking up half the menu ....has a picture of the book and says "the book (title) is playing." I want to get that off so I can play my music but I can't get out of books and back to the whole ipod menu. I guess my question is how do I get to the iPod app's home page when I am stuck on the books page?
I don't know why this is giving me so much trouble. I check everything and sometimes I find a way to get back to home, but I sure don't see it on this books page of iPod.

I have a requirement where in i need to add three buttons yes , no, cancel on the dialog page.
But in the examples specified in OAF guide it has only two buttons.
I m in urgent requirement of this.

It is not a supported feature. Check the constructor of OADialogPage and it supports a max of only 2 button urls.
