How to add a header to an InfoSpoke generated CSV
Hello everybody,
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to add a header line (with the field names) to the CSV-file generated by an InfoSpoke.

if I recall correctly, that "header line" you're looking for, gets created automatically as a 2nd file... you could use a macro to combine both files in Excel?

We have an existing Infospoke, It has ODS as a Source and some fields are being pulled.
But here is the scenario....
I need some extra fields that are available in other ODS. How to add that fields ?
By some research came to know that.. I need to lookup on the ODS and populate into existing Infospoke.How to add these fields to InfoSpoke using BAdi implementaion.
Note: already BAdi is active in the infospoke.

As you mentioned that BADI is already implemented then I guess you should be able to extend the existing BADI itself.
For doing lookup first you should know the key fields of source DSO then by using the existing field of Infospoke you will have to read data from DSO.
DATA: it_data type standard table of 'DSO Name'.
select Key1 key2 etc...
Field1 Field2 Field3 Field4
from DSO
into table it_data
for all entries of infospoke
where key1 = infospoke1-key1
key2 = infospoke2-key2.
This will give you all the required records from source DSO into internal table it_data. Now you using this table you can populate the original table of Infospoke.

TarunI am not sure how it is arranged in 7.02, in 7.01 IDR layout is flow layout so you cannot have layouts other than that. I thought that this has been changed in 7.02 to accommodate the matrix layout. I am not sure about it. If this was true then you can try to play with the layout to fit right hand side. It is not easy though.

File SnapShot.Using SSIS its difficult unless you use a script task after the data flow to add the header footer bits.
A much better option in this case would be bcp as you can generate query with values in the order you want and bcp it out

How to add title/header in 3.0.1, as in previous version?
I "upgraded" to 3.0.1-- The titles/headers of my spreadsheets would not appear in the new versions, and I see no way to add them.
When I print them out, it sure is nice to know what it is (title), and how recent a version (date) it is.Apple dropped this feature in Version 3.0. Yhey are working to add this and other features back. See this link for a list of items they are addressing:

You can continue to use the previous version which is located in the folder "/Applications/iWork '09" and can export back to the previous version from 3.0 using the menu item "File > Export To > Numbers '09" -
How to add XML Header tag to XML output from XI?

My requirement is I need to genarate the XML according to client requirements.
I am able to genareate the XML with <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> as Header but client requiremetn is like this

<?Label MEXICO|PROFILE|2033169|SUCCESS?>
and hear MEXICO and 2033169 will change dynamically for every xml genaration. How it make as dynamical and how can I achive this.?

a) Convert the incoming xml into string.
b) Modify it with some string function as per requirement.
c) Convert the string back to xml.

My problem was the adapter. It was miss used.

Plain2XML -> Transform.ContentType -> text/xml;charset=utf-8
All the XML messages was well formed even with the strange xmlns attributes.

How To Add Two Heading in ALV Report
Hello Guys,
Currently I am Working on a report Contain 45 Column. Each 45 Column have there own heading like Days Target,Days Achieve..like this.
Our Requirement is That
1.Upper side of the First 10 Column one more heading required like Production Details .
2. From 11 to 20 One More Heading Called Furnace Oil. like that only.
I ask users That is not possible in ALV but they are adhere to that requirement.
Can it's is possible in ALV Grid To have a two Heading Column.

Normally the specified requirment is not possible with the ALV...
But you can try with the tricky way... where you need to use the Hierarchical ALV.
Here you need to specify the two fields in the header table for the specified headings, and you need to declare these two fields in the item table also.
But in this case you will have one blank line on the report output(for the header data).

Here a specific filename is already defined and I have to edit the code each time I want a different filename.
It would be perfect if I could implement the SaveFileDialog box so I have the ability to name the file before saving and possibly even have the option to select the file type (among .CSV and All files).

dialog box where to save the file and also put a filename? Currently I have to edit the code in order to assign a new file name (or go rename the file from that location).

Powershell: How to change the header name in a imported CSV file

I have a csv file in which I want to change the headers names in powershell.
oldnames are name,id
newnames I want to give are: company and transit respectively.
Following is what I wrote in script:
$a = import-csv .\finalexam\employees.csv -header name,id'
foreach ($a in $as[1-$as.count-1]) // I used 1 here because I want it to ignore the exiting headers.
{ $_.name -eq company, $_.id -eq transit}
I think this not entirely correct way to do this. Can someone show me how to fix this.
