how to add app to file sharing list ?
For expamle, i have autocad ws app on iPad. When i had previous version of iTunes i saw this program in file sharing list.
After upgrading iTunes AutoCad have gone from this list, how can I return this back?
    Thank You.

From what I read in the app description in iTunes on my computer, you need some sort of account and you use this with a desktop program as well. Files are uploaded to a server???
I see no mention of file sharing in the app description.
    https://itunes.apple.com/app/autocad-ws/id393149734?mt=8
BTW, you cannot add an app to file sharing - it has to suppport file sharing on it's own - it must be built into the app. If the app supports file sharing, it will be in the file sharing apps list in iTunes.

  • How to add apps (free or paid apps) to my iTunes account (via iTunes on PC) for later download on iPad?

How to add apps (free or paid apps) to my iTunes account (via iTunes on PC) for later download on iPad?
In App Store, some apps may go on sale (become reduced in price or completely free), and these offers are usually available for limited time. I may want some of these apps but can’t download & install them immediately on my iPad for certain reasons (e.g. lacking strong Wi-Fi coverage or lacking free space on iPad or iPad is out of my reach).
How to purchase these apps from my PC via iTunes, to be added to my account and become available for me to download on iPad later?

Deleting from your computer is not necessary and I would not advise it since again it's wise to have a backup. But otherwise, yes, once you make a purchase from any source, the app should in the future be available for downloading from the Purchased area in the iTunes Store app on your iPad. This presumes of course that the developer of the app has not removed it.
    One note:
delete the downloaded app file and this will remove it from my PC (and automatically become removed from my iTunes library)
This is the reverse of the correct procedure. If you really insist on removing the app from your computer, delete it from within iTunes. iTunes will ask if you also want to move the app file to the trash. Deleting the app file manually will not automatically remove it from your iTunes library.
    Regards.

  • How can i add apps to launchpad?

I want to add an app to launchpad. I can see the app in programms but i want also to see it in launchpad.
The suggestions for mac os x lion don't work for yosemite.

There are two ways to get an application to show up in the LaunchPad... one is to install the application in your Applications folder.  This is where LaunchPad is looking for applications.  It doesn't care if you got it through the App Store or if it's an Apple application or not.  The second way is to drag the application over the LaunchPad icon residing on the dock and release it.  This will create a symbolic link to the application without actually moving the application into the Applications folder.  It has to be the application itself, not an installer for it, not a folder containing the application, the application.  The application should be added to the LaunchPad if you don't rush it, hold it over the LaunchPad icon for a second or two.
Check to make sure it's not already in there... you won't see the LaunchPad dock icon do anything, you will just see the app you are dropping disappear.  It could be on a second page.  Click on the little dots when you launch LaunchPad to see if it's on one of the other pages.
If that didn't do the trick, try resetting LaunchPad (note that any applications or folders you created/added in LaunchPad will have to be recreated/added):
In Terminal, enter these two commands:
defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true;killall Dock
    then
defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool false;killall Dock
If that still isn't working, what is this app's name and where does it currently reside on your system?

  • HOW TO ADD APPS BACK TO MY FINDER

I deleted my APP icon from the Finder and don't know how to add it back to Finder, I can't access my application

By 'Finder', I assume you mean the Dock?
The Finder is merely a reflection of what's on disk, so if you 'delete an app from the Finder', you're removing it from disk completely (in which case the option is to re-install).
Instead, if you remove it from the dock, it's simple to put back - just drag the application icon (typically in /Applications) to the Dock. When you release, the icon should stay there.

  • How to add apps

how do i add apps to my ipad without having to go thru itunes?

Apart from downloading them on your computer's iTunes and syncing them, the only other way is to download them directly on the iPad via the App Store app - they are the only places that you can get apps for iOS devices.

  • How to Add App Part to Master Page OR Page Layout

I have a very simple requirement.
I need to add an app part on left nav so that it appears on all the pages. E.g. Its a calendar app which shows holidays.
If its not doable in master page i left with no choice to add it in page layout.
But I dont find it in Snippets within Page Layouts or master page...
    Is there any way?

    Hi Prasad,
A very similar conversation was recently discussed here:
    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sharepoint/en-US/ed858354-fa66-42fa-8afa-2352ada015be/add-app-client-app-part-in-master-page?forum=appsforsharepoint
Although not advisable to add webparts directly to masterpages but there are options using delegates to do so.

  • How do I add apps to Launchpad in Mac OS X Lion?

Only Apple apps appear in Launchpad. The Apps I previously purchased thru the App Store do not appear in Launchpad, nor do non-Apple apps like Word, Excel etc.  How do I get all or some of my Apps to appear in Launchpad?

It is the same as the iPhone and iPad. Apple puts its apps on the first page of launchpad and then other apps on the second page. You can drag and move them around the same way as on the mobile devices.

  • How do I add apps from launchpad to my iPad

I have a bunch of medical apps that I paid for and put them on my macbook pro.  I recently won an ipad at an office drawing and want to transfer the apps I would like to use for work from my macbook to my ipad and preferably keep them on both.  How can I tranfer apps from macbook to ipad?

Sorry, apps designed for the Mac will not work on the iPad. There may be similar apps avaialble from the App Store that can be installed on the iPad.

  • How do i add app to launchpad?

I have 2 versions of the same software and on Launchpad only one appears.
Is there a way around this?

Hmm... so according to the article, the only way to have an application seen in LaunchPad (short of an AppStore purchase) is to move it to the /Applications directory at the top level, since it knows nothing of sub-directories. Wow, I expected something less kludgy from Apple, specially given that many widely sold applications (MS Office, Adobe etc) routinely install software in locations other than the top level /Applications directory.
That still doesn't explain the weirdness with iWork. I can see it's sitting inside a sub-directory under /Applications/iWork '09/. I installed it through the DVD I got, not through AppStore, ergo, LaunchPad should not pick it up. Still, it shows up in LaunchPad. Uh...?

  • How to Add to DOCK & Launchpad?

I use a mid 2012 Mac Pro; run Mavericks.
    1. How do you add items(like a folder) to the DOCK?
    2. How do you add items(like a folder) to the Launchpad?

To remove a folder from the Dock drag it away & hold it until it dissapears in a puff of smoke.
You don't want to delete the folder that is on the Desktop, the Dock version 'links' to the Desktop one.
Simply move the one on the Desktop to another folder like your Documents folder (just don't delete it, otherwise the Dock will no longer open anything).
