Coded UI Test does not support PDF directly. We have a possible workaround: getting the contents of a PDF file through PDF libraries and verifying the text through string comparison. You can search PDF libraries online. In order
to implement such workaround, you need have a mount of programming basics first.

Please take a look at my reply there on Mar. 29, 2007. I am not sure but i assume that you are using Web Dynpro for Java. Attachment capability is available with NW04s SP10 (both runtime and NWDS). Although, SP09 contains the required web dynpro runtime changes but the API has only been made part of SP10. Follow the note numbers provided therein.

How to add Images and PDFs in MDM iView

Hello!
We use SAP Portal as interfase to access SAP MDM repository tables.We use MDM Record Set and MDM Item Detail iViews to display and operate with main table content.
There is a field in the qualified table, which is the lookup to the Images table. And the other field is the lookup to the PDFs table. Both fields are qualifiers.
In the main table there is a field, which is the lookup to the qualified table. When we try to add values to this field using Item Detail iView, we get a window, where we can fill all values of the qualified table, except Image field and PDF field - they are disabled. So, can we add Images and PDFs to the table using Item Datail iView? Or what is the other way to add them?

This kind of operation can't be done in Acrobat. You'll need some stand-alone tool, or maybe a plugin, to do it.

How to add image in PDF using JspDyn and what is the path to keep images

Hi anyone help me out to get this issue solved...
I'm creating PDF on the fly but I'm unable to get the image in it. It says Invalid path if i give the path like this Image image =new Image( request.getWebResourcePath() + /images/MyLogo.gif","picture Mylogo.gif");
And also I have tried like this

I have kept the image in /images folder.
Still i'm facing path problem....

NWDS path :

Server path:

you can access the image from this server path..

request.getPrivateResourcePath() will give you the path upto ..

come back 2 directories back upto..

How To Add Properties To PDF file e.g. Title

After I have added, say, Title to an existing pdf file, I was unable to save it. I am prompted to save it with a different file name or a different folder. Appreciate it for any advice. Joe

Joe, after going around in circles for a week trying to discover why I sometimes could save and other times not, I figured it out. It might be the same problem you are having. Believe it or not, I found that it depended on how I opened the PDF file that I wanted to write into (in my case, I had form fields in a "fillable" form). If I opened the file by pulling down the FILE menu on the Adobe Reader screen and clicking on OPEN, I could write into it and save it again. But if I opened the file by clicking on its name in some menu, so that the computer had to find which application could read that file and then open Adobe, when I wanted to save again after writing something in, I got the same error message that you described. I had no such problem on my wife's Mac. So I concluded it was a bug (surprise, surprise) in VISTA. So if you have VISTA (especially Home Premium), we might have found your problem. Thanks for your timely response, by attachment I meant any file that can be added as an attachment, it could be any file, it does not mean to insert pages, it means the same as when you attach a file in your email, while sending the mail to some one, now the thing is that I want the same functionality in Adobe Reader, so do u have any idea, for the same......

If you know how to write a JavaScript for Photoshop, then it shouldn't be too difficult to learn how to write one for Acrobat (although some things are different). Do you know how to run a script in Acrobat? If so, run this:

If it is prompting you that it will replace the data on your iPhone, then that is typically the result of syncing with a different computer. The only way you can bypass that is to replace the media on your device and then sync. Now it will only replace items that would be considered purchased items like music, movies, TV shows and Apps and would not delete any pictures from your iPhone. Alternatively you can setup a Shared Photo Stream and then add the Photos there without syncing your iPhone with your computer. Check out the articles below for more information.

But here is my problem how can i align Title(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) center of pdf report with image named:logo5.png immediately coming to it's right?.
As the problem i am facing is my title or Header(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) is at top of my image named:logo5.png and not coming to it's center position of my image.
Second the problem i am facing is how to add new entire row to top of existing table in pdf report from c# windows form using iTextSharp?.

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

How to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g

Can anybody please help me to understand how to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g and how to map the Form fields with the Data Elelment.
I tried it with 10 g set up as well, but I found following things
1) PDF form template mapping was only available whenever we provide sample data with the same filed name and also number of fileld should be same.
2) According to user manual that I have, it says that whenever I click on the form field while mapping the form field data elements, it should open a new window having the corresponding mapping details.
But in my case no new window was opened when I clicked on the form field while mapping.
Please help me out since i am beginner with BIP and have to move forward with Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g.

I am new to BIP-11g. But i have created rtf, pdf templates in 10g. I am migrating reports to 11g. If you know How to add Predefined PDF Form as a Template in BIP - 11g , Please let me know.
In 10 g you need to do the following things
1. First you need to create data template.
2. Then you have to upload pdf template.
3. After you have uploaded the pdf template, Map Form Fields tab will appear. Then you can map the form fields.

If I make a new iTunes account, would the apps be erased when I tried to use it?
How can I just get my files onto this iPad, and still have the apps that my relative left there for me?

iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.

I am new to flash and I am using Macromedia Flash 8. My task is simple enough: I need create a Presentation with Screens from PDF files: I have 10-12 PDF files which I want convert into flash presentation.

I'm having trouble how to add PDF files into a slides: I want insert a whole pdf file as separate slide, without splitting pdf file into separate elements: pictures, text, etc. I tried import pdf file into Flash, wheen import there is shown prompt how program should process this pdf file(add in stage, library, as keyframes, etc) , not clear which option is correct for my task. What I got is pdf file splitted into multiple images, text, - which is not what I want. I want keep PDF files without changes, preserve original design and formatting, just convert this pdf into flash, so presentation will consist of PDFs organized in correct order, then add navigation buttons and some effects. How to solve this task?

Just to avoid potential confusion... PDF is an Adobe format, but Flash 8 is/was not. Flash 8 came out before Adobe bought Macromedia. Even today, I don't believe anything has been done to accomodate direct integration of PDF content in Flash.
