How to add click popup menu to a row of a table.

hi,
I have a JTable with say 10 rows of data.
On selecting a particular row and user right clicks then a popup menu should come.
I dont want to attach popup to the JTable,instead i want it to be attached to the rows of the JTable.
How to do it??

You have no choice but to "attach" it to the JTable; it is the JTable which is
receiving the events that you would use to trigger the popup.
That said, there is nothing stopping you from displaying a different popup
depending on which row was clicked on.

i create a table with a list , and i add a new column.
and then i drag a delete botton from the list operation to the column.
when i create several rows. and click any delete botton of the new created rows. all the new created rows will be deleted.
rows that already exist when the page render are not influenced.and when i click these rows' delete botton,

that's because when i click the new created rows' delete botton,all the new created botton in this column will automatically be clicked.
i think adf consider all the delete botton are the same one.

i don't use the adf BC, so it is not a VO. it's just a service method that return a list.
and i create the datacontrol and drag it to the page.

How to add af:inputFile dynamically within each row of table?

I need to add af:inputfile dynamically within each row of af:table, when the user hits a commandlink at the bottom of each row.
I have tried wrapping af:inputfile with af:foreach:

in Bean.onAddFile, I have:
public void onAddFile(ActionEvent event){
filecount++;
It works but there's no independent control of each row. When I click one commandlink, All rows now have 2,3,.... af:inputFile. The change affects all rows.
The requirement should be that when I click one commandlink in a row, only that row shows additional af:inputFile.
So why not leverage the row variable of the table, right? That's what I did, I changed the end attribute of foreach to the following:

the backing bean method changed to the following:

Note that "row" refers to an object that has a int field called "filerowcount". And the initial value is "1".
Just for testing, I also added <af:outputText value="row.filerowcount"/>, to see if the count is what I expected it to be.
I didn't see the any af:inputfile this time, but the outtext is showing the filerowcount properly. When I click the commandlink, the number changed to 2,3,..... Also in the backing bean newcount and filerowcount is incrementing correctly.
I know the begin, end attribute means the index of a for loop. So I changed begin="0", it now shows one row of af:inputfile, but when I click the commandlink, no additional rows are shown. (Although the outputtext of filerowcount keeps incrementing as expected.
So to sum up, the END attribute of af:foreach row CAN pick up the value from the backing bean and render af:inputfile dynamically, but it CANNOT pick up the value from the the field in VAR object of a table.
Is is a known issue? Or I did something by mistake.
Is there any other way to add af:inputFile dynamically within each row of table?
Any advice/comment is appreciated.

here is how it goes:
- add an af:inputFile to the column and set its rendered property to point to a managed bean property. The managed bean property has a default value of "false" and the bean should be in viewScope
- create another variable that holds the row number that should show the inputFile component. This is updated by the command link and evaluated by the get method of the managed bean property controlling the inputFile visibility
- Define a property name for the table varStatus property
- For the command link, define a attribute f:attribute with the name rowNumber and set its value to #{varStatusPropertyName.index}
- define an action listener for the command link

int rowNumber = ((RichCommandLink) actionEvent.getSource()).getAttributes().get("varStatusPropertyName");
//set the value on the internal variable
- In the getter of the property that defines the render value of the inputFile, use code like this

- Set the PartialTriggers property of the table to point to the commandLink ID so the table is repainted when the command link is pressed
This should then render the fileInput component for a single row (the one you clicked the command link in)

I you have the access key - you can copy the 901 table and create a new table along with your required field. v/03
Or
in the access sequence for the condition type - add 1 more step and add your field.
ie 10 - 901
and in 20 - your required field

How to get system popup menu in java?

I want to know how to get windows xp or any operating systems default popupmenu in java.
And i also have problem for using mnemonic for JPopupMenu, it works well when i first press right click of my mouse and use the specified mnemonic for that the action specifed for that is triggered but when is use mnemonic without the using my mouse it doesn't trigger why.

P.S. It's not an addon or plugin; this happens to my friends computers and new Firefox installations too.

This issue can be caused by an extension (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions).
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.

You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")

I am trying to add an action to my animation. I would like to click on an image and start play from a time on timeline..... i have just designed menu in form build 6iBy this you mean that you want to call report from drop down menu.
when user select particular report it should open up and yes there are parameters in my reports
well i m passing the parameters to my query in data modelBy this i can understand that you are passing parameter to query data model etc. By how user will pass the parameters values to the reports. Is there any pre-designed form for report calling or you want to use report's default parameter form?
Anyway there is standard code for calling reports through forms in 6i like...

How to add a dropdown menu to the search box (the 'search this site' box that appears on all subsites)

I know that in the search center you can add search verticals. Then you can configure the search box so it has a drop down menu so you can specify the result source you want to search.
But my question is about the 'search this site' box which appears on all subsites, so not the one in the search center. Is it possible to add the same dropdown menu to this box as in the search center?

According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to add a dropdown menu to the search box.
You need to look at the Search Settings page that is located under the Site Collection Administration of the Site Settings.

How to add mouse listener for a single row alone

I have a requirement. In a JTable when I double click a particular row the cells in the row should set to the width which I have provided.
The problem with my code is when I click fourth row in the table, the first row gets adjusted.
So how I need help is
only if I click the first row, the first row cell size should get adjusted not when I click fourth row.
Similarly if I give some cell width and height for fourth row cells, then when I double click the fourth row, the fourth should alone get adjusted and not the other rows.
Hope I have explained clearly.
How can it be achieved?

Challenge popup menu, css stylesheet and button in table component

Hello, in my last post i put the code of an example of popup menu but the only thing that need to run was a cdata tag. But in the example i only can open and close the popup menu in the top and left location that previously set in the css stylesheet .
1.- I need to create a popup menu that can be diplayed if i click on a button in a table component of creator
2.- The menu must waits and let me select the opcion I choose with a click otherrewise
3.- The menu must dissapear if i move the cursor mouse away of the menu,

The best thing to do would be to find an existing popup menu widget in a JavaScript library, like dojo (dojotoolkit.org). If you can't find an existing JavaScript widget that fulfills your needs, you can write your own. It won't be easy, but you can use Creator's Auto Complete Text Field's JavaScript as a model. How can i have the ToolTip set to rows of the table?

hi,
I have a Dialog window that diaplays a table contating the information like student name, student id, student address etc. But the problem what i am facing now is i want ToolTip to be set to this table. i.e, when i move the cursor over this table, ToolTip must be set to the student name of the perticular Row to which the mouse is pointing.
I don't select the Row... but just move cursor over the table.
How can i achieve this?

probably best to add a mousemotionlistener to the table and by probing the generated mousevent (get the location of the mouse) on moving the mouse you can change either the tooltiptext or popup your own popup menu.
