How to add cost center programatically?

I have a program that must create one or more entries in infotype 15 but I also have to assign the cost center. I've played around with doing it manually in PA30 and you have to save the 15 record first and then go to a different screen (via the menu) to set the cost center.
What's the best way to accomplish this programatically?

note down the screen number , and in there you can check if the fld is hidden or not.

How can i add a cost center in Zenworks?
I dont want to use the collection data form.
I want to add cost center to a dynamic workstation group. Seems impossible.
If i add it to a group in Edirectory. Will Zenworks read that attribute?

How to add 'profit center' under documents of dynamic selections in FBL5N

Dear Friends,
In fbl1n (vendor line item display) if i choose dynamic selection ..left side of the window consists of fields....under document ...'profit center' is there....
In fbl5n(customer line item display) for the same ,profit center is not there.....!!!
How to add 'profit center' into the available list in FBL5N

Go to Transaction,
KS02- Change Cost Center.
Go to the Control Tab.
Tick on the checkbox for desired transaction activity you want to lock this cost center.
Any postings made against the cost center will not be allowed.

There are 3 ways :
1. Default the cost center in cost element - Ka02 - account assingment tab enter cost center .
2. Use OKB9 for diffrent combinations as per your requirement .
3. Use GGB1 for substituting the cost center based on some conditions .

Once the Cost Centre Hierarchy is Created, it can be used in Profit Centre Reports.
Choose Financials -> Cost Accounting -> Profit Center Report ->Template.
Here Choose, the Cost Centre Hierarchy the you had created and generate the report.

When you are on selection screen of FBL5N, press (Shift + F4) DYNAMIC SELECTIONS, there you will see a Dynamic selection screen along with your normal FBL5N selection screen, you will find Profit Centre ther, if you don't find Profit Centre in Dynamic Selection Screen you can add the same from the list on the left, search for profit centre, place your cursor on Profit centre and press the Arrow Button(Copy Selected) on top of the list. Now you will find Prfit Centre in Dynamic selection screen, fill the field with values and press save, that's it.....

I m facing problem in KE80 report , every cost center assign with profit Center, but Sustaining cost i.e HR Cost center, Finance Cost Center, IT Cost Center and Marketing Cost Center should be display in front of Sustaining cost , we cannot assign Profit Center . so kindly tell me where we have add the Cost Center Characteristic available in KE85. lot of Component is there like Profit center, Account Number , but we want add Cost Center in Ke85, there is no Cost center available in KE85.
Note : Till now we have not activated NEW GL and Document splitting. FYI.
we are working on Classical GL.
Yr Quick action will be highly appreciated.

In ke85 you can't get CC as far as I know. In new gl, you get both of them in same tables
In classical PCs its not possible unless you define your own totals table with both cc and PC and then build report based on that. That's a huge effort

Create a new variant
Put your cursor on possible fields.
Click on page down on your key board.
It will show all possible fields.
Double click on the profit center.
It will go to current field in your variant.

How to Enable Cost Center Field in Infotype 0001

Dear all my Friends,
Can anybody please tell me that how to Enable Cost Center Field in Infotype 0001, actually the problem is while hiring the employee the field itself disable and not allowing me to put any CC on that field but which should be enable while hiring or if we intend to change in future through PA30 and after that i thought i can do in Infotype 0027 also but in infotype 27 the field called Master Cost Center field is still disabled which will reflect in 0001 or Vice Versa.
So friends pls tell me where my configuration is wrong or how will i get enable that field in 0001 infotype so that i calculated the cost of that employee.

Hi,
You can create any number of cost center groups as per your requirement.
But one thing is crucial. If you crin your eate the groups using the T Code:OKEON. those will effect to the standard hierarchy.
Cost centers created wil KSH1 will not effect to standard Hierarchy.
Main point here is the main hierarchy should be maintained in OKEON. Later you can add any number of groups to that. LSMW will work, before that Hirarchy Area(Cost center group) should be maintained in the system for effective work of LSMW.

Add Cost Center Group

Hi Gurus,
I'm trying to restructure the cost center hierarchy, OKEON, I'm trying to add the cost center group M000400(already created) under M000600 is there already in the cost center hierarchy.
But the system is not allowing me add an existing group. How can I do it?

Sorry it is M000600 i wrongly mentioned M000300 as my earlier reply.
No M000400 is not in the Standard Hierarchy, but it is a cost center group which got M000600 under M000400.
And M000300 is a part of standard hierarchy and we want M000400 to be under M0000600.

CK11N - how to add costs.

Dear Experts,
In the transaction CK11N, how can i add costs to a material which i am costing?
E.g:
I want to put $300 for (labor costs due some activity) in the price of the material.
I need also the transactions that i have to go through to get it done.
If somone has any documents that could help me up with this whole concept it will be really helpful.

Standard Cost Estimate which we do for a Material in CK11N is based on the master data of BOM and ROUTING maintained for that material and other few factors.
If you want to add the labour cost, you ideally should do it by way of crating an Activity Type and creating an Operation in Routing for that Product. Pls talk to your PP Consultant.
Creation of Activity Type : KL01
Planning of Activity Type in a Cost Center : KP26
Cost Element Planning : KP06
Activity Plan Price : KSPI
Assign this Cost Center in the Work Center
As Aparna suggested, If you are trying to use the concept of "Additive Costs" then use CK74N.
