How to add delay to keylistener

another way would be to just remove the listener after a key
event and then set a Interval to re add the listener after 500
milliseconds

How to add delay...?

Hi Experts,
I have a small doubt. I am required to add some delay in the execution of the
transaction.I need to delay the transaction by some miliseconds.
I tryed using the WAIT command but that just allows things in seconds and not in miliseconds.
It will be great if anybody can guide me to get delay in the transaction in miliseconds.

Read the following from the F1 help of WAIT.
Notes
The statement WAIT causes a change in the work process. This is connected with rolling in and rolling out all the loaded programs. For this reason, the time in sec should not be set less than a second in order not to overload the system with too frequent changing of work processes.
So your requirement cannot be achieved with value less than a second, but its not an issue in giving '0.5' instead of 1.

A delay between what and what?
Is this plain LabVIEW, LabVIEW RT, or LabVIEW FPGA? What kind of data acquisition hardware are you using?
What is your OS? An accurate "software only" delay of microsseconds is not possible on windows or any other general purpose OS.

I want to add a new servlet at portal root, which can be called like
http://<host>:<port>/myservlet?parameter1=1&Parameter2=2
I have created a web module and deployed by a web application to portal
Web Module : "WebM" have servlet "Webcall". and servlet "Webcall" have 2 parameter P1 and P2.
Now I can call the servlet using URL: http://<host>:<port>/WebM/Webcall?P1=1&P2=2
But I need http://<host>:<port>/Webcall?P1=1&P2=2
How can I do to get that result???

You mean that you want to stop the execution of the workflow for a specific period, right?

This can be handled by using a WAIT STEP of the workflow, I meanthe use of this wait step is , in brief, if at all you want to stop the execution of the workflow until a specific Event is raisedthe workflow execution stops and as soon as the specified event is raised then the remaining part of the workflow is executed.

You can't add delays in the way you show, but you can build those delayed lines into functions and have the calling of the functions delayed. Look into the setTimeout() function as one possibility. setInterval() is another, though it can require more maintenance.

How to add a hyperlink to javamail attachment?

Hi friends:
I am writing a mail systems.I can receive email attachment using javamail API. But I don't know how to add a hyperlink to the attachment so when user click the hyperlink the file will be download to disc.
I means that I want to add a hyperlink to the attachment,the hyperlink will get the file's path in mail server.Because the mail's attachment are stored in mail server so I don't know how to get it in my servlet.
what I can do is get a inputstream using messagePart.getInputStream();. I only can get a inputstream in servlet.Ｈｏｗ to change the inputstream to a File when user click it and download it?

I am making a same application now...
You have 2 possibilities:
1. Save all the data from the stream to a file That is accessible from the outside through HTTP and then put a link to it
2. Make a link to a seperate JSP page with the following parameters: Folder name (describing where the desired message is), Message id (the number of the message inside the folder) and Part number (you will have to count it yourself). The JSP page then returns all the data.
If you do the second thing, you will have to take care that the first line in the jsp starts with <% because if it does not, the JSP will send an \r\n and that will modify the data.
You will also have to do the following:

response.setContentType("application/octet-stream; name=myfile.txt");If you know the MIME type, replace application/octet-stream with the MIME type.

Resin can't load sun.tools.javac.Main. Usually this means that the JDK tools.jar is missing from the classpath, possibly because of using a JRE instead of the JDK. You can either add tools.jar to the classpath or change the compiler to an external one with <java compiler='javac'/> or jikes.

Hi,
You can just give a search for the directory contains the file tools.jar. And add the classpath like this
SET CLASSPATH=c:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar
You can double check the CLASSPATH in command prompt like this
echo %CLASSPATH%
If the CLASSPATH is set properly, you should see the tools.jar file in the CLASSPATH.

How to add Friendly URLs in Weblogic Portal?

Hi,
We are developing a portal using Weblogic 10gR3. Right now the URL's that are getting formed are very long which includes the nfpb, nfls, pagelabel e.t.c. The requirement is to have a very user friendly url something like http://www.x.com/portal/<<pageLabel>>
The Weblogic documentation mentions something about URL compression, however unable to apply it for dynamic URL's. We have URL's which are formed on the fly from the WLP Content Repository
Is there some kind of servlet / filter provided within WLP. I read somewhere about an URLTransformationServlet. But there was no documentation on its usage. Can some one share a sample code snippet with me. That would be really really helpful, as we are having a slight time crunch here.
Any kind of help on this will be deeply appreciated. Thanks

our development environment we are getting exception Unable to render /framework/skeletons/bharti_skeleton/singlelevelmenu.jsp .
I have also checked feasibility for the URL navigation changes provided and will not work for left menu
and footer URL because while rendering these URL we are not using single level menu jsp or multilevel menu jsp.

WLProxy configuration falls under the weblogic server product hence you will have to raise an SR with that product to get any suggestions.
Before that I would suggest you play around with the parameter I have suggested and see how it is impacting the url and then if there is any specific area you are stuck on check with the WLS team.
Like I mentioned earlier, I do not know if this will completely meet your business requirement, but something you can look into.

URLCompression servlet is the only option that weblogic portal provides out of the box to compress the URL of WLP. I understand this does not suite your requirement.
The other option I can think of that can possibly help you achieve this is to configure any weblogic proxy plugin that you might be making use of, see the document

Even thogh after implementing the below changes,still we are not able to get the result. " nfpb parameter is still existing in URL ".
Implementing URL Compression :
To configure a webapp to use url compression, follow these steps:
1. Define the compression servlet in web.xml; for example
<servlet>
<servlet-name>UrlCompressionServlet</servlet-name>
<servlet-class>com.bea.portlet.compression.UrlCompressionServlet
</servlet-class>
<init-param>
<param-name>defaultPage</param-name>
<param-value>/index.jsp</param-value>
</init-param>
<init-param>
<param-name>errorPage</param-name>
<param-value>/errors/error.jsp</param-value>
</init-param>
<load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup>
</servlet>
2. Map the compression pattern; for example:
<servlet-mapping>
<servlet-name>UrlCompressionServlet</servlet-name>
<url-pattern>wlp.c</url-pattern>
</servlet-mapping>
3. Add the token {url:compression} to the templates for which you want to apply compression.

to
http://hostname:port/ics_war/ics.portal/Tariff.
