In SafariI am missing the Develop menu on one of my Macs. How do I add that menu?

Help! How to add a menu item to FNDMENU

Hi, All
I want to add a menu item under the "Help" menu of the FNDMENU.
And this menu item will open a external website such as www.google.com in a new generated IE window when user chick on it.
So How can I implemented this ? I am a newbie to Oracle Forms builder and Oracle EBS.
Please give me some hint or materials about writing the processing for menu item.

How to add Context Menu to Some frames and not others..

I am trying to add a context menu to my InDesign plug-in based on the link http://support.adobe.com/devsup/devsup.nsf/docs/50383.htm
I am using the context key "RtMouseLayout" to specify the context for my menuitem. However, I notice that this adds my menu item to all frames (graphic frames as well as text frames).
Is there a way for me to specify that my menu item can show only when I right click on graphic frame contexts and not on text frames.
Also I am wondering if you could point me to which file these context keys are defined.. I found AdobeMenuPositions.h file, but I could not find the file where the "RtMouseLayout" key is defined..

Hmm. It also possible but IMO more complex. Take a look on BPISuiteASB.cpp and BPISuiteCSB.cpp in basicpersistinterface sample. I mean just take a look on Selection Suites. From BPISuiteLayoutCSB.cpp you can get UIDList of currently selected objects on page. So ...
If you call IBPISuite (also in BPI sample it's showed) from ActionComponent then you can kEnabledAction or kDisabled_Unselected your menu item in UpdateActionStates.

How to add a menu item to the toolbar?

Hi,
I try to add a menu item to a module toolbar. However, the methods MenuItemAdd and MenuItemInsert did not work for me. There was no icon, no placeholder, not anything. Deleting of DIAdem predefined icons worked well.
I tried this one:
call MenuItemAdd("SCRIPT", "I", "MENUITEM", "TestName", "PicDelete")
I also tried all combinations of Modules, I, I.1, MenuItem, Unknown, Separator, etc. Nothing produced any result.
Does anyone have a hint for me?

As i was new to the Custom.pll,i have opened the custom.pll throught Form Builder.I have found the packages of the Custom.pll,I have to add new Special Menu to it.If u have code can u please give me simple example.
If I press that Menu I have to open New Form that i have Customized.And also to get values into that form.

How to add custom menu options in myaccounts module?

Hi experts,
To implement this, I have found myaccount.xml file in UI of myaccounts module. In this file, I found only menu headings but not menu options. Can anyone explain where data of menu options were populated from and how can I add my custom menu options? I also have tried to delete the menu heading but there was no effect. Please help!! I'm on WEC 1.0.

the path to the billing module is "sap.com/wec/ecom/mc/billing". But nevertheless
1. you need only to enhance in your current modul the metadata.xml file with the link to your own myaccount.xml which you can create.
2. and then you can define within the new file the menu options you need.
3. the last step is to update your shop configuration with the new menu options.

OBIEE - How to add developer comments?

I was wondering how do other folks out there document changes to their OBIEE reports?
I have worked on a few other applications where in the code we would add "comments" to specific pieces such as date of modification, when it was modified and by whom.
Another example, working with WebFOCUS in a report they allow comments to be in it
Being a bit newer to OBIEE I was wondering what best practices are there for documenting changes to the reports?
This is from a developer stand point
I would like to be able to add a time stamp of the change, what was the change and who did the change.
It would just help our internal development team to see who worked on what and does not need to be exposed to the end user

As far as reports go, we have always used documentation outside of the system so far. One method that has intrigued me recently is by adding the Catalog folder in question to RSS which is supported by OBIEE to get all the changes made in one place on a Feed Reader of some kind but I haven't had the time to test it just yet.

How to add a menu??

I am creating a DVD and iDVD automatically put about 8 chapter markers in each scene menu. I want to have only 4 scenes per menu, but in order for that to happen I need more menus. Is there a way that I can create more???

Unfortunately there is not an easy way to do this. Adding a folder doesn't give you the same thing as a normal menu page since there would be no right arrow leading you to the next page. Instead you get something like...

So to get to the next page of chapters you have to click on the folder button rather than a right arrow like previous chapter menus.
Every theme has a set number of chapters per page by design. Some are 8 but many are also 6. What this means is, if you drop a movie that is 16 chapters long into a theme with 8 chapters per page, you will get two pages of chapters. If you instead start with a 6 chapter theme, then you will get 3 pages of chapters. The thing with iDVD is that once you drop in your movie and the chapter pages are created, if you switch to a different theme, the number of chapters stays as it was. So say you want to use an 8 chapter theme, but don't want 8 chapters per page. Start with a 6 chapter theme, drop in your movie, then switch to the 8 chapter theme and your chapter pages remain at 6 chapters per page.
Now in your case, you want 4 scenes per menu. Unfortunately I am not aware of any themes that have a 4 chapters per page design. However if you go to...

they have two free themes you can download. The one called Independence Day is a 5 chapter theme. As I said above, you don't have to use this theme in the final product to get more chapter pages, but you can start with that theme, drop in your movie, your chapters will be spread over as many 5-chapter pages as needed, then you can switch to any theme you really want to use and retain the 5 per page and however many chapter pages it created. This doesn't get you to four, but pretty darn close. Perhaps this is good enough.
If you really really want to have 4 chapters per page you could cheat it a bit. Chapters added in iMovie do not have to be in the chapter menus of iDVD. For example you can import a movie with 10 chapters, then in iDVD delete the scene selection button which removes all the chapter pages. So there are no scene selections, but you do still have chapters in the movie. Meaning, while you play it you can still chapter forward or backwards to the chapters you set in iMovie, but don't show in iDVD. Likewise you can delete specific chapters from the iDVD project's scene selection pages. The chapter will still remain in the movie, but there just isn't a menu item for it in scene selection pages. So using that knowledge...
Go to your iMovie, after every fourth chapter, create another chapter, call it "delete" each time. So your project will have chapters as follows: Ch1, Ch2, Ch3, Ch4, delete, Ch5, Ch6, Ch7, Ch8, delete, .... etc. Now in iDVD use the Independence Day theme which is 5 chapters per page. When you drop in your movie, you will now get enough chapter pages with the four chapters you wanted and the "delete" chapter. You can select the "delete" chapter on each scene selection page and simply delete it. you now have four chapters per page. You can now switch to any other theme you have available to you and you will still have 4 chapters on a page and as many pages as needed to hold all your chapters. Just keep in mind that when you play the movie, those "delete" chapter markers still exist in the movie itself, so moving forward or backward a chapter at a time will still go to those dummy chapters, but in many cases that might be ok.
Hope something above is a good enough work around since iDVD doesn't really have a good way to add additional chapter pages unfortunately.

As i understood...
i have just designed menu in form build 6iBy this you mean that you want to call report from drop down menu.
when user select particular report it should open up and yes there are parameters in my reports
well i m passing the parameters to my query in data modelBy this i can understand that you are passing parameter to query data model etc. By how user will pass the parameters values to the reports. Is there any pre-designed form for report calling or you want to use report's default parameter form?

How to add more drop zones or movies in an idvd menu

I was building a dvd in idvd and ran out of drop zones to fill but I couldn't figure out how to add more drop zones.
I tried different templates but I could find none that had more than 12 drop zones.
Then I was adding movies to the main menu and idvd refused to allow more movies added when I reached 10 movies. It said that the template did not accept more movies.
I tried a few other templates and could not get it to accept more.
I don't want to add submenus because the movies being used do not lend themselves to being put into different submenus.
Is there some way to add more than the default drop zones in an idvd template and to add more movies in a menu without having to use submenus?

If you want more freedom, buy Apple's Final Cut Studio and learn to use DVD Studio Pro.

I found the solution and the post was not properly phrased. There is no need to add menu into library. All we need is to put the compiled menu into Oracle AS and add the menu name the menu module of the given form.

The SDK doesn't provide any features for adding icons to the command center in SBO6.5.
Version 2004 has a new image property for menu items that can be used.
