How to add dynamic text in pushbutton created on output for ALV oop

Hi All,
If you check BCALV_GRID_05 program, you will get one pushbutton DETAILS on menu screen. Same king of pushbutton we have in our object but we need to change the text on pushbutton if the user press it we need to process the records ( we are getting number in one variable) and we need to display as ' DETAILS no Records with no error ' on pushbutton.
Please let me know if any one of you have any solution for this issue.

If u see that program u can see
METHOD handle_user_command.
case e_ucomm.
WHEN 'BOOKINGS'.
U have to write ur code here to change the button name like the code u have in ur :
METHOD handle_toolbar.
MOVE 'Detail'(112) TO ls_toolbar-text.
This is where u have to change ur text . In place of detail u put ur text and finally Modify the Internal Table and dont append it as in HANDLE_TOOLBAR. If u modify the text is modified, if u append , a new button is created.
Add this code in WHEN 'BOOKINGS' part of ur code and check

Creating the Standard Text:
Go to SO10
1. Enter Text Name. For example, ZABC
2. Text ID ST
3. Language EN
Click on Create.
And enter the Required Information and save.
To include a Standard text in SmartForm.
Follow the steps below:

Inserting Texts from the Master Record

Search for the relevant table/structure (in the case of PO items, this is EKPO) and then choose ENTER .
Choose the relevant table field.
Choose Text ® Print preview to see the print preview.

I presume you are talking about a report display in ALV and u wish to add a column to it .
If it is a global requirement ,as in table being used there in ALV can be modified, then you can append the table and the system should pick up the same automatically from there.
Otherwise , you can make a Z program . Modify the catalog being used in ALV.

It's not difficult once you know how.
1) Go to: System Administration -> System Configuration -> Knowledge Management -> Content Management -> User Interface -> Search -> Search Option Set
2) Edit UISearch
3) Select your custom property from the list beside the option 'Allowed Predefined Properties' and hit save.
On 'Advanced Search' your property should now be listed under 'Filter by Predefined Properties'.
You may also add it to 'Allowed Sort Properties' if you like.

Why are you piping a where in the items? Do you only want to add the "test" to ones matching
a name?
If you have ISE installed on your server I recommend you put your code in there and debug it.

The feature has been removed to make safari even less useable. You need to download a third party browser like atomic web browser to get the functionality you want back.
Like many new IOS 7 "features", safari on the ipad is a FAIL.
At least you can now bury safari in a folder containing hundreds of icons that you can only view 9 at a time.

I am not sure how it is arranged in 7.02, in 7.01 IDR layout is flow layout so you cannot have layouts other than that. I thought that this has been changed in 7.02 to accommodate the matrix layout. I am not sure about it. If this was true then you can try to play with the layout to fit right hand side. It is not easy though.

hello all - i have a main stage where on the first frame my
"home" movie clip displays. i did this by dragging/dropping, and
then i put a stop action. all works fine.
inside this home movie clip on the main stage, there are
links to other movie clips. for example, to get to my faq's page -
you click that button, then it takes you to frame 4 on my main
stage, where my faq's movie clip (followed by stop action) has been
dragged/dropped and displays properly.
within the faq's movie clip this process is repeated, with
buttons taking to you various pages (different frames where
different movie clips play - all works fine).
so now i want to add a dynamic text field within my faq's
movie clip. i have read numerous tutorials where i have created the
text file but i have not been able to display it with success
within my faqs movie clip.
here is some code that my dvd tutorial instructs me to place
on main stage as i practice getting this to work:

file, use a trace statment before the success condition and see
what it returns:

By default the content pane of the JFrame uses a Border Layout. So you should:
1) Create a JPanel
2) Set the layout of the JPanel to FlowLayout
3) add the buttons to the panel
4) add the panel to the content pane
5) add your text area to the content pane

Rejection Applicant: How to add plain text to the mail E Mail Letter?

Dear All:
I'm working with a ECC6 version.
In transaction PB60, when we do the candidate rejection activity, the E Mail letter generates a mail with empty body text, and an attachment with the letter in PDF format. The letter is OK, but I would like to know how to add some plain text to this E Mail letter. An empty mail is not a good practise.
I searched across the forums and SAP documentation, but I could not find any clue.
I would appreciate any help regarding to this matter.

In this step you can create the standard texts to be used in mails.
Example
u2022     Request for return of applicant file
u2022     Notification of date of job interview
Requirements
u2022     You should have assigned a standard text to the activity.
u2022     You should also have set the variables which are to be used.
u2022     Finally, you should also have made the settings for supplying the variable with values.
Standard settings
The standard system contains two examples of standard texts. You can use these examples as references to help you create your own standard texts. The standard texts have the following names:
u2022     MAIL-APPLICANT (note on an applicant activity)
u2022     MAIL-APP-INTERVIEW (note on appointment for interview)
Please note that the standard texts are stored under text ID PAML.
Activities
Now create the standard texts you require under text ID PAML.
Further notes
Every mail is made up of a heading and contents. In the first line of the standard text you enter the heading of the mail and from the second line on, the contents.
The standard default settings for style and layout are used for mails.
The SAP System treats standard texts as application data. This is why there is no automatic connection to the transport system. If you want to copy texts from one client to another within the same system, please use the functions of the transaction to create the texts. If you want to send the texts to a different system, please enter the transport manually as follows:

i am working on a project aboit accounting package.
i had created a report in jfreereport .. buti am facing the problem of dynamic column addition in that..
i have to create the number of column as per user given range that will from 2 to 365
i had generated column for that
that should be like
1 - 5 , 6 -10 , 11 - 15 , etc...
how can i represent that alll column in print preview i can't represent that report in horizontal fashion . is there any way to display it ..
this report has no bound in horizontal or verticle means i have any number of rows or columns..
pls help.

hi,
that means u have fixed columns right? ie 5 columns in a report
if it write, than u can find out how u can rename the columns with exiting
one.
that means while runing report u have to pass all the 5 columns to report
instead of the exiting columns (ie rename the columns that u want add
columns)
u have to search in code for renaming in the code ie jfreereport package.
i think u understood.
