How to add Material type(MTART) field on Selection screen of MB5B transaction code.

Hi All,
Please let me know how to add material type field on selection screen of MB5B transaction
For that i made copy ZMB5B_COPY of original report RM07MLBD.

Hi,
Once you copied the standard report to Z report, you can MTART in selection screen like below.
and in order to inlcude the same in programming logic, we have three option.
1) Check all related select queries, and include MTART in SELECT query using inner join with MARA.
2) In START-OF-SELECTION event fill MATNR as shown below.
3) If user entered any value in MTART, then before displaying the report just check material type of each material in the final internal table(which is used to display report) delete enteries from internal table accordingly.
START-OF-SELECTION.
IF MTART[] IS NOT INITIAL AND MATNR[] IS INITIAL.
    SELECT MATNR FROM MARA INTO MATNR-LOW WHERE MTART IN MTART.
      MATNR-OPTION = 'EQ'.
      MATNR-SIGN = 'I'.
      APPEND MATNR.
      CLEAR MATNR.
    ENDSELECT.
ENDIF.
The above option has one limitation: The selection screen variables has some restriction, please read the below thread.

1) I created the screen group, I created the Badi implementations
2) Created the Implementation by giving a name and added code the method CHECK_ADD_ON_ACTIVE. and activated it
3) agian using Business Add-in: Customer Subscreens , i created one more implementation and in that added code to GET_TAXI_SCREEN method. before this i created a screen with a field.and i created a function pool and activated everything.
4) after everthing i added the field in the kna1 table. when i execute the xd03 transaction code, i can able to see my own tab ( which i was created) on the screen, and i am able to see the field with blank.
Now my questions are:
1) How to write the logic to get the field information from the kna1 when i enter the transaction xd03/.
2) how to save the field values to kna1 database table when i open it in change mode(xd02) and changed the value.
and where to write the logic?.
Please provide me the code snippet if you have any.

How to add a new tab(field ) in selecting ranked list(cj20n)

Hi,
I want to add a tab/field for position of employee while selecting ranked list.As i have to select employees on the basis of their skills and positions .I have used requirement profile but it is selecting on the basis of skils and not on the basis of position.
If I select Item tab it selects on the basis of Positions But i want to select on the combination of both skills and positions.
So i want to add field (position ) when it shows ranked list of employees.

I'll try to explain better my need.
I've 10 CO-PA Key-Figures used to Split in the Cost of a material in different Cost Items.
Using the customizing I fill these key-figures using some rules.
The new requirement is use SOMETIME the same KF, by displaying different Costs overwritting the original values using the exit ZXYEXF05. But I need to know when the user wants consider the original value of KF, and when he wants overwrite these values (when I have to run teh exit). So I thought to create a new Selection-screen field (Char1), to permit to the user to pass to some report this user request. I thought to define a global variable, and add it to several reports when this feature is required.
Can you suggest a better solution ???
I could create some empty KF and fill them using teh exit, but I would prefer not expand the CO-PA structure.

Add a New Field to Selection Screen of VL10 Transactions problem

In the Step 2 , Point 4 i declare the Select option ST_MTART and use it later in Step 5 in the form USEREXIT_SELECT_OPTIONS_TRANSF.
Step 2.
4. Write the declaration of new select-option inside include ZV50RSEL_MTART.
DATA: V_MTART TYPE MARA-MTART.
SELECT-OPTIONS: ST_MTART for V_MTART.
Step 5. Transfer values from selection screen to range.
For this step, again an access key is required to modify include V50R_USEREXIT_TRANSF.
1. Open include V50R_USEREXIT_TRANSF in change mode. It will ask for an access key. Enter the same and proceed.
2. Write following line of code inside form USEREXIT_SELECT_OPTIONS_TRANSF:
CX_SELECT_OPTIONS-MTART = ST_MTART[].
When i start the VL10G it works fine, but when i start another VL10* transaction i get a dump. Example VL10:

I faced a similar issue (for what I understand your request is).
My requirement for the Variable Screen was to do:
1) place a link to a ppt file
2) remove buttons "Save", "Save As...), "Delete"... the standard buttons come when running the Query or WebTempl
We were using a Web Templ for BI7.0
I struggled trying to find out how to do it. My conclusions are:
- WAD, not sure we can accomplish it using a Web Template but i did not "play" a lot with the Web_Template Properties in order to know
- XHTML, I was told in my post HTML modification was the way, but I have close to nil background in HTML and couold not find the way of accessing the Variable Entry screen
For instance, I had to remove similar buttons and change some font size from a link on the Web Template (WAD), which was pretty straight forward. In WAD the buttons come with its own icon and to increase the Font size for that link we used XHTML (<font size="2" >). But the heck of the variable screen...well, i just did not get trhough to it to modify it in any way.

HI,
if it is a normal report program then you can directly create a Selection screen field.
After the Type-pool you can use Parameters or Select-options to create the selection screen field..
If it is a Modulpool program then you can create a selection scren field like
SELECTION-SCREEN BEGIN OF SCREEN 1100 AS SUBSCREEN.
PARAMETERS: p1(10) TYPE c.
SELECTION-SCREEN END OF SCREEN 1100.
defines a selection screens 1100 as subscreens.
The next screen number of screen 100 is 100 (statically-defined).
PROCESS BEFORE OUTPUT.
MODULE status_0100.

How to add Material photo in SAP

Hi folks,
    Does anybody know how to add material photo to material No?
     As now, when our old spare parts are bad, maintanance user have to find a new one to replace, so they need to provide the material No to warehouse user or purchase dept.
    But now as there are a lot of spare parts in SAP, iIt's difficult for them to appoint SAP material No from layout, so we want to add photo to material No.

When viewing material, from main menu select System > Services for Object.
You may get a choose object type option, if you do, choose a std way to work e.g. always use Object = Material.
You'll then get a mini free floating toolbar. Select the far left Icon and Create an attachment. Navigate to your picture and upload.
To view the picture, select the Icon second left (this is greyed out if there are no attachments).

*Hi experts,*
*How to restrict material type ? i wanted to restrict the end-user not to access any other material types than Raw material,Semi-finished goods. it means when end user trying to create material then if he enters other than these two material types then he should get error saying that "your not authorized to select that xyz material type".*
*I have tried to restrict the object M_MATE_MAR(Material Master : Material type) but am unable to do so. is there any other object which take care of Material types ? did i selected correct object or not??*
*can anyone help out.*

You have to make few configuration settings before you actually restrict at the object level. The solution is clearly discussed in the below thread:

You have to copy the standard script first .
you need to write External subroutine in layout.
This is just for basic info..you can search in sdn external subroutines in script..you get so many inputs.

Run MRP for STO only when material type MTART = FERT (condition)

I am trying to implement BADI MD_CHANGE_MRP_DATA and method CHANGE_MDPSX_MDUP. This will exclude considering STRs for MRP depending on the condtions written in the code.
the condition is material type mtart will be fert only so can anyone provide me sample code to make this enhamncement and above badi and method are right place for this code.
I think can be the option to solve the issue. Please let me know your thoughts.

If it's someone else and that is real hair, then someone may have selected the hair in Photoshop and applied a tiny bit of the Oil Filter on it. The Oil Filter has been removed from the newest versions of Photoshop.
