How to add outcome to activity step

Hello everyone. Does anyone know how to add a possible outcome to an activity step that is not of type user decision? I know this is possible as I have seen workflows like this. Please help. Generous points will be awarded!

I don't think OO does result parameters. To be honest, I've never really liked them due to the way that the outcome definition is so far removed from WF. This makes it easy for someone to change the domain without updating the WF and mess things up. There's no simple "where used" that tells an ABAPer about such usage in WF.
So just bind back a value and check it in a separate condition step. Or use exception classes. If they are subclasses of CX_BO_ERROR they will automatically appear as outcomes. Which way you choose is a matter of semantics - if the results are 'nonstandard' situations then they could be exceptions. If it's a set of choices then a condition will do. There's no major performance hit for a condition or container operation step.

After extensive search and research (and a number of dead ends) I am coming up empty handed on any info re: how to expand the functionality of Newsfeed within Sharepoint.
My goal is to create a Newsfeed that includes more activity than just what a user has explicitly followed. Optimally, I would like to have a site Newsfeed that includes entries for all activity on the site. Users could then directly access the
item that was added, edited, or commented on to view all the details and add their own contributions. This would look very similar to a Basecamp style project feed that includes all ongoing information on the project.
Eventually I would like users to be able to sort the activity by activity type (e.g. view all document related activity, or all activity pertaining to a particular list) but a master feed would be a great place to start.
This blog post is the closest I've found to what I'd like to do, but the author did not finish the series.

How to add attachments for Activity Header and for partners?

Hi Consultants,
I am new to CRM, My requirement is I have to add attachments as URL and File in activity or lead in Salespro. I have observed from CRMD_ORDER_MAINTAIN but no break-point triggers for this. I searched and found that cl_crm_documents->create_url or some methods in that. But it does not works for me.
Any sample code expecting to reach my object.

I am using a multistep roadmap within a roadmap ui.It has basically 2 steps assigned to it.I have created 2 context attributes under context node and assigned the datasource property of multistep to it.But i am still unable to see the 2 steps within the multistep element.Any idea of how to do it?Any examples of how to use multi step roadmap.

i am not seeing the 1f multiple road map step at all.I have binded the datasource of it to context node of cardinality 0..n and it has 2 context attributes of type string assigned to it.
Please correct me if i am wrong or missing something

Activity Step (Outcome)

Hi Experts,
though worked on WF, never explored how the Outcome entries come in the Activity step. Appreciate and brief explanation on Outcome lines in Activity Step (Outcome tab).
Another query, in 4.6c I have seen you can insert line(outcome) in the Outcome tab of an Activity Step, but in 4.7 I do not see it.
How do I add an Outcome in Activity Step (Outcome tab) 4.7.

Hello Aditya,
When ever you   define an   exeption   in the   Method eception table with the 9xxx number   it should    appear in the step .
It a refresh problem if a change a method i usually refresh the task   ( I select a display    or existancecheck method and then
reselect   the required method ) so   the task is refreshed .   exception   that are not selected with the   green tick - will mean error
other ise if selected with green   mean handled error ,
Except for terminate event you   might define the method a s    a result method   with   defined list of results   also will influenve outcome lines

Hi guys, how to add a Field array to the Step Variables?

Do you mean how to add properties to a Step Type?
Steps are instances of Step Types so you can not add properties. If you need to add property to say a Numeric Test Limit step type, then you have to create a Custom Step Type based on a Numeric Test Limit Step Type then add your additional properties. Check out the TestStand documentation for Custom Steps Type.
Depending on your needs you might beable to use the Add Attributes to meet your requirements, depends on what TestStand version you are using. This could save you the bother of having to create your own step type.

How to add new row in KL02 trx - Activity type control data

Hi guys.
I am not a FI-CO consultant, but I want to add a row since KL02 transaction within a cost center, with a new fiscal year. When you access KL02 (change activity type), you set the activity type, then press Master Data and the basic screen appears. If you press the Display planning control button, you will see the "Display Activity Type Control Data" List. I wanna add a row for a specific cost center here, because the cost center I refer has not 2011 as fiscal year. I tried to use, since basic screen of KL02, use the Change planning control button, but when I set my cost center and 2011 as fiscal year, the Save button is inactive. Furthermore, I tried to press the Period screen and a message appeared "No data has been entered yet". So I dont know how to add one row for a cost center in the Planning control (Activity type control data) list of the KL02 transaction, specifically for an activity type. Do you know? Hi,
The list of cost centers in which the activity type is planned is given in KL02 under planning data. In order to add a new cost center to this, you need to enter the activity type in transaction KP26 for a particular year.
Goto transaction KP26
Give version - 0
from period 1 to 12
year - 2011
cost center - mention the cost center
Activity type - mention activity type
goto overview screen F5 and add the plan price for the activity in the cost center. This step will automatically add new row in the activity type control data.

Goto the component/view: BT126H_APPT/ApptOVViewset to place the attachment assignment block on the screen.
Click on the Configuration tab.
Click on change.
Add them from Available Assignment Blocks to Displayed Assignment Blocks.

How to add Distribution channel in Activity search result

As i am new in BSP area need your help.
My requirment is to add a ditribution Channel in activity Search criteria as well as in search result.i am done with adding a DC in search critaria but not able to understand how to add a DC in Search result.
Component : BT126S_APPT
View : BT126S_APPT/ApptSR
Context Node : BTQRACT - Under this CN there is no attribute called DC.
To add i DC in above context node:
1. Need to create a Z attribute in Context Node.
2. In get method of attribute need to read the DC's attribute which entred in search criteria.how to get this value.
Please help me to solve this issue.
DC = Disttribution channel.
CN = Context Node.

The cleaner approach in my view could be to provide a hyperlink and when the user presses the link option you can show the partner data in the key field.So for example some body wants to see the partners for a particular Sold to Party just do allow him/her a hyperlink access.For this the end user must be aware of the functionality.
Alternatively make this view a part of the Viewset which will contain the search & result view.When you select a particular opportunity row from the result row , you can show the partners involved in this opportunity.When no opportunity is selected you can leave the partner field blank.

You mean that you want to stop the execution of the workflow for a specific period, right?

This can be handled by using a WAIT STEP of the workflow, I meanthe use of this wait step is , in brief, if at all you want to stop the execution of the workflow until a specific Event is raisedthe workflow execution stops and as soon as the specified event is raised then the remaining part of the workflow is executed.

Ex: ZSAPPEW1 : SAP Job
I had 7 Abap steps in this job
I want to edit this job and add two more steps after 5th Abap Program /Step

Go to SM37 >> Select Job name >> Change mode >> STEP >> Create step (Add other steps)
OR
Create a new job with all steps and remove the old one.

You can "add Favorites in EP" by clicking on the image available next to forward link in the title bar of the portal
Various options like
Open in New window
Refresh
Personalise
Details
Add to Browser Favorites
Add to Portal Favorites
When you click on "Add to Portal Favorites" then the particular iview is added in the portal favorites iview section. which is displayed below the detailed navigation.
Example if you add the iview present in the Content administration --> K M Content
you can add the KM content iview in the favorites.
Now if you are present in the System Administration --> Portal Display --> Theme Editor then you can navigate to KM iview directly without going through Content administration --> KM Content.
This reduces the number of navigation paths.
