i want to add used Dc for EJB DC. I am having JAVA project which is having some java classes , which i want to use in EJB DC. How to add that JAVA DC as used DC for EJB DC in Netweaver 7.1????

Importing Development Configurations from the SLD
       1.      To obtain access to the development configurations in the SLD, set the Development Configuration Pool in the Developer Studio:
                            a.      From the menu path, choose Window ® Preferences.
                            b.      Open Java Development Infrastructure ® Development Configuration Pool.
                            c.      Specify the URL of the server on which the SLD is installed in URL in the following format http:. Choose OK.
       2.      To import a development configuration, open the context menu in the Local DCs view and choose Import Configuration...
       3.      Select the remote option.
A dialog for logging on to the development infrastructureappears.
       4.      Enter USER1and the corresponding password.
The Development Configuration Importdialog appears.
In this dialog, you can set the storage location (the root folder) for the files created in this development configuration. To be able to change this setting, you must first remove all development configurations.
A list of the development components available in the SLD appears.
       5.      Open the node TECHNO/1.0 and import the development configuration TECHNO_dev
The extension dev stands for the development status of the SC. The APPLcons development configuration is also created. After development, you can maintain the consolidation state in this development configuration.
The Development Configuration Import dialog appears.
       6.      Choose Next.
The Build Variants dialog window appears.
       7.      Choose Finish.
The system reads the development configuration settings and sets up your development environment. The views Active DCs, Inactive DCs, and Local DCs now contain a new entry with the name of the imported development configuration.
Result
       1.      In the Development Configuration perspective, switch to the Inactive DCs view.
       2.      Open the folder TECHNO_dev.
You can see only the software components which you will develop.
DCs can be created only in the Inactive workspace and are activated in the CBS only by a successful build. This makes them available automatically in the Active workspace, where they can be used for the build of other DCs.
       3.      Switch to the Active DCs view.
       4.      Open the folder TECHNO_dev.
Next to the software components you want to develop, you see three entries:
■       sap.com_SAP_BUILDT
■       sap.com_SAP_JTECHS
■       sap.com_SAP-JEE
These SCs are provided and can be used but cannot be changed.

VC is supposed to allow employees with limited technical skills created web based applications which can then be used in the portal. You do need some technical knowledge but it is more easier than developing code.

Cannot add used DCs....

Hi all,
I created two SCs and 1st SC consists of 3 DCs:
1) External library
2) J2EE server library component
3) Web Module DC
The first one is for all the external libraries,the second one includes all the libraries from the first one as DC of type ext. library is not deployable and the third DC of type Web MOdule is to hold all the class files during run time.
Now in my second SC, i need to include some of this DCs, in the USed DC, but i cannot, it does not allows me to do so.
Any kind of help will be highly appreciated.

Ya, you are right, both the SCs are in different tracks.
I was successful in inporting from development queue to Consolidation queue and was also able to assemble it.
But, when it came to the test queue, the import failed.
When i checked the logs, i found that i have some of the DCs already sitting in the DTR, that i had created before and which had some errors so i had to delete it.
But, it still exists in the DTR browser, I am trying to delete them , but it gives me that there already exists some files that are local to the machine in the _comp folder.
I am already following hte steps mentioned in SAP note 864515.
Can you please tell me what should i do?
ANy other solution you can think of?

This may seem to be a simple problem, but I am not sure how
to get the heads and tails from this. I have written up a code
snippet that spits out the values based from the output from an
external HTTPService. The variables I declared are integer types,
but when I tried to calculate the total, it always outputs the
"appended string" from the values I have in the XML. What I really
want to see is that it outputs the "total" of the numbers I have in
the for loop by adding it together.
Is there something I have missed here?
I tried doing something like number_lines =
xmlList.number_lines so I don't have to worry about the index
number of a particular element in the XML, but every time when I do
this, I get no output f the number and messes up my code. Is there
some way in which I can output the number based on the element name
rather than the index position of it in the XML?

Everything in XML is text. Look at parseInt()

Morover you can also disable Firefox from Checking for Updates. In Firefox Option, click Advanced, and then select the Update tab. Uncheck "Firefox" in the "Automatically Check for Updates to" option.

In NW 7.1 SR3 Developer Studio where can I add Used DCs to my WD type Local DC?
This WD type Local DC was developed in NW 7.0 SP9. Now I want to use it in NW 7.1 SR3 and I need to correct some used DC settings in the project.

The code executes well with no problem and get all datas from tables into table in PDF report from c# windows forms.
But here is my problem how can i align Title(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) center of pdf report with image named:logo5.png immediately coming to it's right?.
As the problem i am facing is my title or Header(DCS Clinical Report-Technician wise) is at top of my image named:logo5.png and not coming to it's center position of my image.
Second the problem i am facing is how to add new entire row to top of existing table in pdf report from c# windows form using iTextSharp?.

I’m sorry for the issue that you are hitting now.
This itextsharp is third party control, for this issue, I recommended to consult the control provider directly, I think they can give more precise troubleshooting.

I've created a WD application in one local DC and some java classes for this app in another local DC. How I can make these classes visible in my WD app?

Hi Lev,
Select all your java classes, right click & Export. Select Jar from the list. Now provide a name for the jar file created by you.
After that, Copy the jar file to the Lib folder of your webdynpro project. Right click on it, & create the compile & assembly public parts for the reference to the project. Build the DC.
Now, go to DC perspective, Add the public parts as the Used DCs to the webdynpro project DC. Build the DC.
Its done.

How do I use the installed add-on CacheViewer?

I have downloaded and installed CacheViewer 0.7.6. It is visible in my Add-Ons Manager, but I don't know how to actually use it to view objects cached by Firefox. I finally figured out how to use the about:cache function and I think the above add-on will be helpful once I know how to use.
I'm using the latest version of Firefox on a Windows 8 PC.

How do you add/use typekit fonts that are not edge web fonts?

I am just trying out the new Muse CC 2014.1 (August) release and was keen to try the new font facilities. As far as I can see that while I can now add other fonts for which I have downloaded web font files via the Self Hosted Web Fonts function, Typekit fonts that are not "Adobe Edge Web Fonts" are effectively unavailable? Have I missed something.
As an example I want to use the Proxima Nova web font family. I have selected it on the type kit site, set them up to Sync via my Creative Cloud account. So for example if I select a font in Photoshop CC or Illustrator, the Proxima Nova fonts appear. Even ok in Word for Mac. They do not appear in Muse.
To add them as self hosted web fonts, I would need to physically download the relevant fonts files and install them on my desktop using the OS-X font tool. However as they are being sync'd via Creative Cloud this shouldn't be necessary should it? Also I don't see an option for doing so on the typekit site.
Any help or guidance would be very welcome.
PS: I seem to have a separate issue with the Creative Cloud app, which is not listing fonts under the Assets tab. But I don't think that is related as they are working fine for Photoshop, etc.

I'm sorry that you ran into trouble with this. To add fonts from Typekit to your Muse website, you will want to use the web fonts path instead of desktop fonts. (You can use a desktop font synced from Typekit in your Muse design, but it will exported as an image the same as any other system font.)
There are a couple options for using Typekit web fonts in Muse:
o) The Muse Insider wrote a post on how to insert the Typekit embed code from the Muse interface:

o) Or you can add the embed code to the Page Properties dialog within Muse, which will include it in the <head> of the page when you export your website. The steps are the same as this tutorial, but you will add the Typekit embed code to Muse instead of into your page directly:

Note that in either case the Typekit fonts will not be displayed in the Muse preview window. You'll need to publish your site to a server in order for the Typekit fonts to be loaded into the page.
If those look like more coding that you are comfortable with, you might try one of the fonts which you can select from the font menu instead. Here are some that are similar to :

We are also working on a more complete integration of Typekit with Muse in the future, but I can't say yet when that will be available.

Do you see a "loading" icon in the tab (e.g. a blue spinner wheel)? It sounds similar to this thread; you might try these suggestions:

i used the same thing before i go for table check box concept.here what i observed is when i search i am getting some results i am able to shuttle.but if i search again the shuttle is refreshing with new values even not available list its refreshing selected list. IF dont want refresh selected ones.
my usecase after make some searches I will select some roles from different categories at finally i ll submit.
i hope you understand me requirement. please suggest me is this requirement is possible in shuttle component? if yes please guide me.

Hi Jay,
Be aware that "Freeze Header Rows" and "Freeze Header Columns" apply only to rows and columns that are Header rows or Header columns. You can have up to five Header rows, Five Header Columns (and five Footer rows) on a Numbers Table.
"Header rows" is a special designation. Besides being able to be frozen, Header and Footer rows are not included in formulas referencing whole columns, making it possible to place formulas such as =SUM(B) at the top (or bottom) of column B without causing a self-reference error, These designated rows are also not included in sorts of the rows in a table.
