How to add VI to library again?

I am currently using labview 8.2. Everything was working fine just before I uploaded a backup program for WindowsXP. I now get an error in NI_AALBase.lvlib:Vector x A..vi and complex vector x A.vi. how can I retreive the library. The error says "This VI is connected with a library that does not include the VI. The VI might have been deleted from the library. Add the VI to the library again or select File»Disconnect from Library."
I tried reloading Labview 8.2 and still get the same error.

Hi Muke,
what are the locations of the 'Vector x A.vi' and 'complex vector x A.vi'? If they are not in the vi.lib (or one of it's subfolders) they are moved (as a backup procedure or something).
In that case do not connect them to the 'NI_AALBase.lvlib' in the vi.lib folder, just disconnect them inside the VI
In the other case, the 'NI_AALBase.lvlib' has changed. This is very strange, what you should do is a repair of LV because maybe other things have changed!

What sort of videos are they, and what app do you want to sync them to ? If they were taken with your camera and they are in a format supported by the iPad, then you could sync them to the Photos app - with the iPad connected and selected on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, you can use the Photos tab on the right-hand side of iTunes to sync photos and videos (there is an 'include videos' tickbox on that tab) to the Photos app.
Or you can sync them to the Videos app. If you can add them to your iTunes library (File > Add To Library) you can then use Movies tab (instead of the Photos tab) to sync them to the Videos app. If you can add them to your library but they don't sync over because they aren't in a supported format then try doing Advanced > Create iPad Version and then try syncing those versions.

Interactive graphs in Edge Animate - how to add the jqPlot library

Hello all
I'd like to add interactive graphs in my Edge project, but can't use SVG. I'm now trying to implement the jqPlot library, but can't get it to work. Here is what I have so far:
In "creationComplete" in "Stage" I've added this:

Thank you, Raffalaff. From what I can tell it looks like jqPlot has a few more charts to choose among than Flot, otherwise from that they look very similar.
To get jqPlot working I did this:

In iphoto I used to have two libraries and used to select which one I wanted to look at at startup of the app.
1) Does photo have the ability to have multiple libraries
2) How do i import my 2nd iPhoto library once the initial setup is done into a 2nd photo library?
3) If I try to import a 2nd library and ADD it to the first then will it give me the option to skip duplicates

2 This was answered in another thread: click on Photos while holding alt key, a dialogue box with a choice of libraries to convert will appear.
You can test this by creating a new iPhoto library and converting it.

I am writing a DOM parser and I need to print out the modified xml file. So I want to use the write funcition defined in the com.sun.xml.tree.XmlDocument library. But this package is NOT included in JAXP package. Where shall I get this om.sun.xml.tree.XmlDocument library?

The com.sun.xml.tree.XMLDocument class is not part of JAXP. It is part of Sun's parser. It is bundled with Sun's JAXP package. You can download Sun's JAXP package from http://java.sun.com/xml/jaxp/index.jsp

How do I get 1 library to sync between 2 computers?

I have two PCs - 1 Desktop & 1 Laptop running xp pro w/offline folders enabled. I set itunes to consildate all music to the master itunes folder on my desktop and I pointed my laptop itunes to the same folder which is a mapped offline folder on my laptop. The problem is that even though I pointed itunes on each machine to the same library files and folders they still seem to manage themselves seperately even after sycning the files (which I do regularly).
Why is this and why can't I make this work?
Everytime I add content to my laptop the desktop doesn't see the new files (which are in the same folder) until I go back and tell the machine to "add folder to library" again - which takes forever. When I get new music (through itunes or otherwise) and it goes to a folder not in the "sync'd" folder I re-"consolidate" the library and then re-sync the folders but still no joy... What gives with this??? Ohh and "Yes" I am syncing the actual "library files" too. Both computers are authorized to the same itunes account.
I travel with the laptop and don't always have internet access and when I do it's usually not a fast enough connection to remotely connect with the library at home

don't get confused by the color icons - the screen shots where taken on an iTunes 9.x library, but what you want to see in iTunes is this (view from my MBP's iTunes seeing the library on my Mini)
if you then click on the house icon, it will change to this and the shared library will load. at that point, two buttons will appear in the lower right corner of the iTunes window, being settings and import.
now you should be able to import any content from any shared library by selecting the content and clicking on import.
via settings, you can select which newly purchased content is transferred automatically to homeshared libraries
if the icon looks like this , home sharing has not been set up correctly.
in order for home sharing to work:
(a) iTunes on all machines must be authorized for the same iTunes store account
(b) all machines must be on the same network
(c) all machines must have access to the internet.

How can i "add file to library" and have it be considered to be a Podcast?

I went to a web site and downloaded a file to my C drive (MP3 format) that is not music. It is spoken, and is what i would call a 'Podcast', although i did not access it via iTunes as an official podcast. I then use iTunes "add file to library" function. But, it considers it to be music. I thought maybe drag/drop would work to let me add it to Podcasts, but it does not.
How can i get this file which i have imported into iTunes to be treated as a Podcast? First, i'd like it to appear on my iPod with 'Podcasts'. But, more importantly, if i stop listening in the middle, i'd like it to restart from that point the next time i start it again. Now, it is treated by the iPod like music, and so it starts at the beginning each time.

If not -- does anybody else know if there is a way to do what the original question posed, to have a file that you downloaded, treated as a Podcast instead of as music?

How to add a library (libSomeRandomlib.so) to a project....??

Ok, so I've been trying to get CERN's ROOT program/libraries to work in an xcode project for a while, but I'm running into one really weird error, and I think I may just not know how to add a library to a project correctly.
Suppose I create a new Xcode C++ command line tool project. I hit Build and go, and it gives me a nice little Hello World! in the console, just as it should. If I then click on the project in Groups & Files, go to Project>Add to Project..., and choose, say, libCint.so, from my root/lib directory, and click ok, then click Build & Go, I get an error in the console:
dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libCint.so
Referenced from: /Users/paulthompson/Documents/Programming/Build Products/Debug/LibraryIncludeTest
Reason: image not found
sharedlibrary apply-load-rules all
Data Formatters temporarily unavailable, will re-try after a 'continue'. (Cannot call into the loader at present, it is locked.)
My assumption is that either I'm missing a step in the process of adding a library, or else there is something jacked up with the libraries themselves. Anyone have any advice?

EDIT* Oh, I should mention that the actuall binary that gets built after adding the library WILL execute properly in the Finder, or from terminal, just not with the Build & Go, or Go commands from within xcode.

So, since I don't want to deploy with the environment variable set, I should ask, what IS the correct, MacOS X way to do it?
The best way to find that is to look at how Apple does it. They put frameworks in /System/Library/Frameworks and regular shared libraries in the standard places. You can do the same. Put your frameworks into /Library/Frameworks and your shared libraries into /usr/local-based paths.
If you want to create stand-alone executables that can be installed via drag-n-drop, you can put shared libraries inside the application bundle. If your shared libraries/frameworks are elsewhere, you will need some sort of installer to get them installed.
I've been sifting through Apple's developer documentation but I have yet to find a concise, straightforward explanation of how to add shared libraries. I'm horribly confused at this point. Is there a good tutorial available anywhere for both the general unix case of linking to dylibs and .so's, and the Mac specific case?
Hopefully someone else knows an answer for this one.
*EDIT* I do already have the variable defined both in ~/.MacOS/environment.plist and also in Xcode as an additional user variable.
I'm not sure about the whole RPATH thing. Setting environment.plist will define environment variables for use in the Finder, but that is really a hack. There are better ways to do it, but if you are porting some open-source programs, that may be the only way. You should be able to define those variables in Xcode. You have to selected the debug executable under "Exectuables"

If you are not sure of anything below, post back before deleting anything.
You can simply copy the items tin the migrated user to your current user account.
Drag the Music folder, Pictures folder and Documents folder to /Users/Shared.
Then log out of this user and log into your regular user account.
Open 2 finder windows. On teh Finder icon in the dock, right click - New Finder window
Open one to Users/Shared & the other to your user.
On Shared, open Music and drag the contents to your user Music folder.
Do the same for Pictures and Documents (into the same folders).
After it finishes copying, open iTunes and everything should be there.
You can then delete /Users/Shared/Music/ folder.
Do the same for Pictures & Documents.
After everything is copied and you are sure it's in your current user folder, go to System prefs > Users & Accounts and you can delete the new user that you did Migration Assistant with.
