How to analyze the extraction process for 2LIS_02_SCL both in R/3 & BW.
Hi All,
I have a problem here regarding the extraction process for the DataSource 2LIS_02_SCL. The values posted by date fields like
Posting Date (0PSTNG_DATE)
Schedule Line Delivery Date (0SCL_DELDAT)
Statistics Date (0STAT_DATE)
In BW are suspected to be wrong values.
So I am supposed to check the extraction process for PO Schedule Line (2LIS_02_SCL).
So how can I proceed with this analysis in BW side as well as in SAP R/3.
Can anyone please help with the process.
Thanks in advance.
Hi,
In Bw thre is always confusion about following Dates.
Posting Date (0PSTNG_DATE)
Schedule Line Delivery Date (0SCL_DELDAT)
Statistics Date (0STAT_DATE)
So ask Functional Consultants and Business USers and Identify the corretc Date in ECC and then Change the Mapping In UPdate Rules in BW. i.e. What date USer is wanting and accordingly we nee dtgo change the mapping in UPdate Rules in Time Char Tab in UpdateRules.
Thanks

I need urgent support because Adobe CC crashes after the "extracting " process of an app. So if i choose to download an application ( Muse, Photoshop etc ) it downloads, and after that it crashes, is there any support available ?
Thanks,Problem solved, it is the firewall who blocked the installation, everything works fine now!

How long is the review process for a newly submitted book?
I have just imported my first book to the iBooks store (after several attempts due import errors!!!!!).
How long is the 'quality assurance' process before a book is publisehed for download? There are many similar posts asking this question and a search would have saved you waiting an answer....
The book can be in review for hours, bit more often than not, up to two weeks depending on how busy they are.
Check your iTunesConnect daily.....they do not work weekends and remember to take into account your time zone compared to US time. -
How long does the extraction process of installing Dreamweaver trial usually take?
The trial version of Dreamweaver has been extracting for over ten hours. Is this common? If so how long does it usually take?
Thank you!Hi Dottie83,
The extraction of files should not take more than a few minutes. Please cancel and retry.
In case you still face issues consider redownloading the package again.
Alternatively you can try downloading from the direct download links available at : http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important steps mentioned on the page before initiating the download. -
How to write the Business Process
Can anybody please give me the link on How to write the Business Process for <b>IC_C03</b>... we have done the blue print and going to write the documentation for this info provider.
So please provide the related links..........Probably the best thing to do is go to your boss/team lead/project manager/client contact and ask them what documentation they want you to produce and what should go in it. No-one here can guess at that.

How to manage the Credit Control for Customer Consignment Process?
Hi All,
Could anyone tell me how to manage the Credit Control for Customer Consignment Process?
ThanksHi, there is not standard solution, we did customized process for consignment credit block , check below
1. defined status profile - with lock/auto/approved/rejected and new t.code for approval or rejected.
2. maintained consignment credit limit in Z table
3. logic for detemining status written in sales order save userexit.
4. while calcualting the values, system need to check open sonsignment order of customer/ open deliveries/ stocks at customer place MSKU table. and calculate value with MBEW/KONV ect.
5. if value is less than Z table then status AUTO, which do not need release, if value is greater than Z table put status LOCK means credit block need to release from new T.code.
Hope you get some idea -
Hi all,
Does anyone know how to enhance the extraction structures with additional fields for datasources 0FI_GL_4 (General ledger: line item), 0FI_AP_4 (vendors: line item) and 0FI_AR_4 (customers: line item).
Thanks,
Sabrina.Hi
Here are the two scenario's described in the note:
1. All the fields of the customer enhancement in the customer include are contained in the read structure (see the table above). Then no additional action is required. The fields of the customer enhancement are filled automatically by the datasource from the assigned read structure via "move-corresponding".
Example: The extraction structure DTFIGL_4 for datasource 0FI_GL_4 (General ledger: line item) should be enhanced by the VALUT (value date) field.
To do this, create structure CI_BSIS in the data dictionary of the R/3 source system and include the VALUT field in it. The data dictionary in the R/3 source system shows that the VALUT field is contained in the read structure of the datasource (table BSIS). For that reason the VALUT field is automatically filled by datasource 0FI_GL_4.
2. Fields of the customer enhancement in the customer include are not contained in the read structure (see the table above). In this case you have to program a function module to fill the field of the customer enhancement. To do this, there is a Business Transaction Event available (open FI interface for process 00005021). Create any function module you like and use function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00005021 as a template for the interface (input parameter, changing parameter).
Interface of function module SAMPLE_PROCESS_00005021:
Input-parameter I_OLTPSOURCE: datasource that is currently extracting data from the R/3 source system.
Changing-Parameter C_STRUCTURE: Extraction structure of the data source currently extracting including fields from the assigned customer include. When you call this customer defined function module, all the fields of the extract structure are transferred filled.
Check whether the type pool SBIWA is declared in the TOP include of the function group.
If not, add it with the statement TYPE-POOLS: SBIWA.
Then maintain table TPS31 with Transaction SM30. Create the following entry:
PROCS LAND APPLK FUNCT
00005021 <fname>
<fname> stands for the customer defined function module.
By doing so, the function module you defined is called for each extracted record. Note that in this case the performance of the extraction may be reduced significantly regardless of the table read and the complexity of the programmed logic.
Example:
You want to enhance the extraction structure DTFIAR_3 for datasource 0FI_AR_4 (customers: line item) by the ORT01 (city) field from the customer master record.
To do this, create structure CI_BSID in data dictionary of the R/3 source system and include the ORT01 field in that. The data dictionary in the R/3 source system displays that the ORT01 field is NOT contained in the read structure of datasource 0FI_AR_4 (Table BSID).
Therefore you have to program a function module that reads the customer master in the R/3 system (table KANN1) and fills the ORT01 field of the customer enhancement. In the changing parameter C_STRUCTURE the filled fields of the extraction structure DTFIAR_3 are available to you. With the KUNNR field of extraction structure DTFIAR_3, you can select the respective master data record from table KNA1 and determine field ORT01 of the customer enhancement.
1. All the fields of the customer enhancement in the customer include are contained in the read structure (see the table above).
Then no additional action is required. The fields of the customer enhancement are filled automatically by the datasource from the assigned read structure via "move-corresponding".

The data dictionary in the R/3 source system shows that the VALUT field is contained in the read structure of the datasource (table BSIS). For that reason the VALUT field is automatically filled by datasource 0FI_GL_4.
ATTENTION:
By using Note 430303 you can enhance DataSource 0FI_GL_4 by all fields from table BSEG (instead of BSIS); then the fields are filled automatically in the extractor.
1. Fields of the customer enhancement in the customer include are not contained in the read structure (see the table above).

After you create the customer include in the R/3 source system you have to post process the accompanying datasource with Transaction RSA6. Select the application component according to the above table and change the datasource that fits the customer include. The "Hide fields" flag should be removed in the field list for the fields of the customer include. Then save the field list.
If the fields of the customer include is not displayed in Transaction RSA6, refer to note 415530.

How to find the extraction method of a datasource?
Hi,
On a review of some documents on SDN, regarding how to track where data is coming from to BW, there was this helpful quote.
Just knowing what is the extraction method of a datasource and our search of the origins achieves a vast improvement!
So, through se11, ROOSOURCE gave some details including the include ROEXTRACT.
from here, I am getting stuck, se16 and se11 are not helping.
How do I move from the information on this screen to see, for example, the extraction method for a datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM
ThanksHi,
I followed the instruction i.e. in ROOSURCE then Contents...
but when I enter the datasource 2LIS_11_VAITM in hoipes to see the corresponding Delta Process for this datasource, I get a message
"... No table entries found for specified key"
what does this mean, knowing that thie datasource exists.
Thanks -
OGG-00868 SQL Server 2008 has problem with ODBC in the EXTRACT process
Hello Everyone
I want to replicate tables between MS SQLServer 2008 and Oracle 10g
I have Windows XP / MS SQLServer 2008 and Oracle Database 10g R 10.2.0.1.0 running on Red Hat Linux
I followed the steps from the white paper (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/datawarehouse/oracle-sqlserver-goldengate-460262.html)
and Installed Oracle Golden Gate Version 11.2.1.0.1 (for Linux) and the Version 11.2.1.0.1 32bits (for Windows XP)
I followed all steps of the white paper without problem and I could do the initial load in
the Oracle Database from SQL Server sucessfully.
But when I tried to set and start the Extract process from SQL SERVER
a error was generated in the file c:\gg\dirrpt\MSEXT.rpt and the process is ABENDING

JuanHello mb_ogg,
Yes, I had created a Data Source HR Driver= SQL Server (second Tab System DSN) and I also had tried with
the driver SQL Server Native Client 10.0 but I faced the same error.
The database by default is EMP
Below is my configuration
Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Version 03.85.1117
Data Source Name: HR
Data Source Description:
Server: JUAN-XP
Database: EMP
Language: (Default)
Translate Character Data: Yes
Log Long Running Queries: No
Log Driver Statistics: No
Use Integrated Security: Yes
Use Regional Settings: No
Prepared Statements Option: Drop temporary procedures on disconnect
Use Failover Server: No
Use ANSI Quoted Identifiers: Yes
Use ANSI Null, Paddings and Warnings: Yes
Data Encryption: No
I also clicked on the button "Test Data Source" with the below messages:
Microsoft SQL Server ODBC Driver Version 03.85.1117
Running connectivity tests...
Attempting connection
Connection established
Verifying option settings
Disconnecting from server
TESTS COMPLETED SUCCESSFULLY!
Then I went to Database Properties (Right Click) /Oprtion and Recovery model field has Full value
I also made a Backup (Backup Type = Full)
The Backups was made to Disk: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.MSSQLSERVER\MSSQL\Backup\EMP.bak
Today I repeated the same steps and I got the same error (I Copied at the end):
I also have the follow question:
Is necessary define the location of the backup of MS SQL Server to say to GG where it can get it?

How can identify the default currency for a customer?
How can identify the default currency for a customer?
I know that this is being determined when you create a sales order for a particular customer, for example, so I could break this process open and find out what it uses. But I thought it worth asking in this forum first.
BlueHi Gary,
As per my understanding of your question I am replying , If you are looking some thing else then I request you to please elaborate your query.
If you see the BP sales area data in transaction BP, In billing tab you maintain the currency for a customer which is default currency when you create a sales order.
<b>Reward points if it helps!!</b>

How to do the hard recovery for exchange 2010 (No Restore.env generated)
enrollment:Windows server 2008 R2, exchange 2010.
I want to test the fundamentally of eseutil /cc
so I backup the exchange database by Using the Windows backup, then I restore the database, and no Restore.env be found. But I found I can run the
eseutil /r.
what's happened?
1,why No Restore.env generated for exchange 2010 in Windows server 2008 r2?
2,why I can do the soft recovery after the restoring the database?
3, how to do the hard recovery for this situation(No Restore.env )?
Please click the Mark as Answer button if a post solves your problem!Hi Eric,
From your description, I would like to clarify the following things:
1. Before performing the restore process, we need to dismount the Exchange databases that we want to restore. If the database is still mounted, the restore process will fail. If the restore process doesn't succeed, Restore.env won't be generated.
2. It is because the log files are healthy, you can run Eseutil/r and perform soft recovery.
3. In your case, you can continue to perform the soft recovery.
For more information about hard recovery and soft recovery, here are some helpful threads for your reference.

Hope it helps.
If there any problems, please feel free to let me know.

How to set the Default values for Info Objects in Data Selection Tab for Info Package
ex: Fiscal Year Variant Info Object having values 'K4' 'Y2' etc in Flat file
Initially default value(not constant) for this info Object value should be 'K4' in Info Package
If I set data selection value for this info object K4 it will retreive records with this selection only? how to handle
Rgds,
CVHi,
suppose as your ex. if you are having fiscalyear variant in the dataselection tab then specify K4 in the from column, again the ficalyearvariant row and click on insert duplicate row at the bottom . you will get another row . In that enter Y2 in the from column. now you can extract K4, y2 values .
